Thinking of you @Cleozeta, and keeping everything crossed that your line gets stronger 🤞

Rose68 · 27/10/2018 11:26

Oh no Cleo, it’s so hard not to test isn’t it. It’s such early days & still could be fine. As Evug says, try to wait a couple of days before testing again. I know it’s hard though. xxx

Cleozeta · 27/10/2018 09:32

Thankyou evug. You are right. I'm just going to leave it alone for a few days and see what happens. I wish I had left it alone today.

Weirdly the cheap test that I got bfn from is supposed to be much more sensitive than the cbfm stick that I got the dark line on. Why can't I just leave these things alone?! I think I was just hoping to see it get darker

Evug1234 · 27/10/2018 09:07

Be positive Cleo.... wait for 3 to 4 days before testing again...a positive is a positive however faint it may be....relax and let your body do the needful.....stress is not going to help in any way.
Everything crossed for you.... hoping for a sticky one for you

Cleozeta · 27/10/2018 08:47

My line was fainter today. Why is this journey so difficult Sad

I took 3 tests, a frer like yesterday - fainter. A cheapy internet one - bfn. And a pregnancy stick from my CBFM which cane out with a good line and said 'pregnant'.
3 completely different result from the same pot of wee.
So confused, but I'm thinking chemical. I've not had one before and I'm probably due one....

Chatbash72 · 26/10/2018 20:53

@Cleozeta and @Orchid222 keep bonking ladies whilst af still calls your still in the game 😘😘😘and congratulations @Cleozeta

Cleozeta · 26/10/2018 19:56

Can't get the attachment button to work for ma annoyingly!! So can't attach my bfp. Have looked at it about 80 times today though, still in shock!
I think AMH and FSH and all that crap really mean nothing. As Orchid said, while you are still ovulating there is always a chance. Ignore all the pointless numbers and negative people and believe in yourself and your body

Orchid222 · 26/10/2018 18:58

Oops sorry for all the typos!

Let's it stands for traditional Chinese medicine. My places oldest customer was 49 I think when she got pregnant. I do think, and we've saud it here before, that nowadays too much attention is paid to ourcresulrs which don't mean a whole lot. Generations of women before us have been getting pregnant in their mid and late 40's when there were no AMH checks and it wasn't anything unusual so I think as long as you are ovulating there is always a chance plus fertility supposedly increases when you're approaching menopause so there's still a chance for us all Smile

@Crittertamer, thanks so much for your advice, that does actually make sense, just gutted really. The pic of your BFP has made me really happy however, so lovely to hear the successes on this board! I will do further investigations and find out what next.

@Cleozeta and @petrarabbit thank you, just a crappy few days, but no point indwelling, I've procrastinated enough now time to move forward and fight for my potential little one to be!

quick question, what is TCM?

PetraRabbit · 26/10/2018 15:49

Letsdothis43.....I'm sorry you got such negativity about your results. I don't have any information to help you but just wanted to tell you not to give up and that there seems to have been some "miracles" in this group already.

PetraRabbit · 26/10/2018 15:45

Congratulations Cleo! That's really exciting. And so hopeful for all of us. Just great news!

I got AF this morning which was so so disappointing after what seemed to be a particularly good cycle. My cycle seems to be shortening. Does anyone know why? Doesn't stress tend to make cycles longer? I had a 23 day, then 28, then 26 and now 25. Before that it was usually consistently 28, occasionally 35. I had a Mmc /ERPC back in March/April. I used OPKs this cycle and got a positive around day 13 which should be ok I think on luteal phase, especially as older women (I'm just 43) are supposed to ovulate earlier than the OPK indicates.
I've been doing reflexology but moving on to accupuncture now. I'm interested in the chinese medicine too. It seems to work. It's so hard to know where to go and who to ask.....

CritterTamer · 26/10/2018 15:26

@Cleozeta to post the pic is easy - under the box where you type your message is a button next to images that says ‘Choose file’. When you press that it gives you the option to take the photo there and then which automatically attaches to your post, or you can browse to a stored photo. Once the pic is uploaded you’ll see a little imag3 of it and you can type in the message box as normal.

Rose68 · 26/10/2018 15:24

Cleo - I think you just just click the ‘choose file’ button underneath the typing box. Or on my phone it might show as a ‘paper clip’ rather than ‘choose file’. Then go to photo library and select your photo. x

Cleozeta · 26/10/2018 15:13

Thats a greap bfp pic critter! So pleased things are looking good for you.
How did you post the pic?
Evug - lol at the dhea comment Grin get some in quick!!
I am determined not to stress about things this time. I'm going to enjoy every day that there is hope, and take things as they come. (Thats the plan anyway!!)

Evug1234 · 26/10/2018 13:57

Loved your bfp pic critter.....
On a lighter note....DHEA seems to be THE lucky thing.... ladies are falling pregnant even before even starting to have it.
Even I am thinking of ordering it from amazonGrin

Rose68 · 26/10/2018 13:44

Great news Critter!
I got 2-3 weeks yesterday, which was good, but today I’m straight back there convinced it’s going wrong. Sad

CritterTamer · 26/10/2018 13:05

Here's a BFP pic for those who like them- I've been too terrified to take one of these since Monday which was 2-3 weeks as I've had a terrible worry that it's all going wrong. Im over the moon to see that thi gs are progrrssing properly 😁

CritterTamer · 26/10/2018 12:58

I’m so happy for you @Cleozeta! Please post your BFP pic when you can 😊

Cleozeta · 26/10/2018 11:52

Thank you everyone, still so shocked!! Lets hope this one sticks...

Russkispy · 26/10/2018 11:44

@Cleozeta massive congratulations! Gives us all hope!
Still waiting for AF.

weasledee · 26/10/2018 11:37

Cleo congrats!!!! We're doing so well this month :) upload that pic if you can, I love a good bfp pic

Cleozeta · 26/10/2018 11:33

I do the powder that's made into a 'yummy' tea to drink twice a day. It's expensive but clearly worth it.

I'm not sure about having it with soy. I've been having it with everything else and my accupuncture man has never told me not to mix it with anything else so should be ok.

I didn't really have any symptoms massively out if the ordinary, I had mega cramping at around 9/10dpo, but I often get that these days anyway. I got stark white bfn's at 11 & 12 dpo so thought I was out. The thing that was confusing me was my ava data, as it annalyses pulse rate etc, which is supposed to drop before af, but it kept rising. Also FF recognised a possible triphasic shift

Orchid222 · 26/10/2018 11:16

Mimosa I don't know about Cleo but at my place you can do either, capsules are off the shelf, cheaper and not as strong vs. Fresh mixture is 'customised' to your situation and cycle and stronger.

Orchid222 · 26/10/2018 11:12

Congrats Cleo! Hmm maybe I shouldn't rush into ivf next cycle. I got pregnant after 3 months of TCM and am currently 2 months into it so maybe I should give it another month...
