@Cleozeta and @cookiewaffle WOW I am keeping everything crossed for you guys! so so so happy that this thread has BFP's

Going to look into TCM and a clinic in Athens that a lovely poster on the infertility boards told me specialise in low ovarian reserve IVF

So grateful for this boards and all you lovely ladies!

littlemimosa · 28/10/2018 15:25

Oh my gosh so many bfps! Have that fertility specialists who say fertility is over by 40!!! Proving them wrong on here or what.

Congrats Cookie!!

Rose 3+ is great news, try to relax and enjoy being pregnant hun.

Yuck, just had the first drink of the chinese 'yummy tea' you described Cleo. Not looking forward to that twice a day but obviously I'll do anything right about now.

Everhopeful2018 · 28/10/2018 11:15

After reading your comments above about waking early etc I'm begining to feel a little hopeful. I'm 10 dpo and was feeling really glum. Trying to prepare myself for another BFN.

My sister in law just gave birth and it hurt. 😢 so I felt even more like it won't be me. I feel selfish and ungrateful as I have children but all I want is just one more. Don't want to end my baby making days with such an awful memory.

Anyway have really struggled to sleep last 2 nights and wake early ......I never wake early I'm a total night owl!! So now there's a little hope growing.
So excited to see all your BFP. I'm hoping some of this lucky bady dust will come my way. Just a few more days to wait.....

Ameliel · 28/10/2018 10:51

Vow congrats @Cleozeta , @CookieWaffle and @Rose68, fingers crossed for all of you! I'm cd10 today, it's so boring just waiting for the ovulation, especially as I have no idea what day that might occur for me. This cycle is the first one for me since coming off the contraception in early September. What cd do you normally ovulate? just wondering if I should start using the opk's already ? What makes it harder is that I can't seem to make head or tail of my Cm (pretty nonexistent)...
I have my third acupuncture session this week, not doing any Tcm but just trying to eat healthily. Have a good new week ladies!

CritterTamer · 28/10/2018 10:14

The insomnia is definitely a symptom - I’ve had it since before I got my BFP - for me I can get to sleep ok but am pretty much done sleeping by 1.30 or 2am. Spend the rest of the night staring at the ceiling - doesn’t help with the tiredness!

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 09:40

Oh I look forward to the side position!

It's deffo a symptom for me as I've had some really stressful times but still manage to sleep. If anything, with stress, I'd take ages to go to sleep then struggle to wake up in the morning, but one thing I always get in pregnancy is the early mornings. It's an odd one!

Oh and the tiredness too. I'm nackered.

Rose68 · 28/10/2018 08:43

Cleo - yes definitely still go to acupuncture, mine recommended going until 11 or 12 weeks. Maybe you will get the uncomfortable side position too Grin
I am also waking early, and also having difficulty going to sleep at night. But I had put that down to worrying rather than a symptom. x

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 08:34

Rose - I have random boob throbbing (like stabbing) and soreness, nausea when hungry, and waking early (I love a lie in, and the early waking has happened in all my pregnancies and I can't get back to sleep again! So annoying haha)

I have an accupuncture session booked for Tuesday, I was wondering what I should do about that. Should I still go??

CritterTamer · 28/10/2018 08:22

Exciting news @Cookiewaffle! This has been such a lucky thread 😁

Rose68 · 28/10/2018 08:19

Cookie - Wow, congratulations! So early as well!

Mimosa and Cleo - Before my bfp I also had acupuncture in my tummy, head, arms, legs, ankles and I think toes. Since getting the bfp it’s been in my back, tummy, head, and ankles, so I have to lie on my side, which isn’t that comfy! Definitely no nice relaxing heat lamps for me.

Cleo - sorry that you are so stressed, it is so stressful isn’t it! I wish we could get hold of a crystal ball. Great news that you are having symptoms though! What symptoms do you have?

As for me, I have some constipation and my nipples are slightly sore off and on. I’m pretty sure I should be feeling more than that.

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 07:51

Congrats cookie!
Good to hear from you minime, sorry to hear things are difficult at the moment.
Hopefully accupuncture will help you too.

Mimosa - how interesting that he did the needles in your back! I've never had that, I always get them in my tummy, head, arms, legs & toes (the toe ones hurt)
I pay around £80-£90 every 2 weeks for 1 session of accupuncture and 2 weeks of herbs.

Rose - try not to stress (easier said than done I know) but its great that your test came out 3+ so fingers crossed all ok.

As for me, I'm not going to test again now until weds or thurs (If I get that far) as it's just too stressful and I really regret testing yesterday, I've totally spoiled things for myself and caused super stress which I really didn't want, as it changes nothing.
I am still having symptoms currently so will wait it out and enjoy being pregnant even if it doesnt last.

mellongoose · 28/10/2018 07:36

Eeeek....and to you too @CookieWaffle

This thread is lucky indeed!

mellongoose · 28/10/2018 07:35

Gorgeous news @Cleozeta.

There's so much to catch up with!!!!

CookieWaffle · 28/10/2018 06:36

Omg I've missed so much, congrats on the BFPs guys! Critter I'm so glad it's worked for you :)

I'm 10 dpo today and have been getting some cramping and achy boobs. Took an early test (I know I shouldn't) and a faint pink line has appeared..... aaaagh!

Rose68 · 28/10/2018 06:21

Morning Ladies, I had a bad day yesterday, suffering with lower back pain and a tiny bit of spotting. I haven’t really had any pregnancy symptoms yet and I was pretty sure I was losing it.
I’ve just done another CB digital expecting the number of weeks to have gone down to 1-2, but it’s gone up to 3+, it shouldn’t be 3+ until tomorrow at the earliest.
I still have a really bad feeling..... maybe test again in a couple of days and see if it’s gone down to 2-3?

minime2017 · 27/10/2018 23:43

Thanks Littlemimosa. Just going to get an appointment booked. No time to waste. All those who announced pregnancies around the time of the mc are starting to deliver including 3 very close family members and 2 friends. Stings a lot though the baby cuddles help ease the ouch.

weasledee · 27/10/2018 23:16

Hi all, I'm 9DPO and not a sniff of a symptom. We're going to use a frer Monday..... not remotely excited. I've stopped temping etc, in fact I'd even forgotten how many days post ovulation I was!! Slowing giving up....

littlemimosa · 27/10/2018 21:57

Hi mini. Good to hear from you despite you still ttc. It’s so draining isn’t it especially when your cycles go irregular. Can relate.
We chatted for a while about my general health and cycles etc. Then he put the needles in my back and left me on the bed under the heat lamps (bliss) for about 30 min. Afterwards he gave me the herbs to take home. Even tho I’ve tried acupuncture before I decided to try a Chinese place (based on some success on this thread!) this time. I’m also thinking of trying DHEA but need to ask everyone; are Biovea a reliable company ? The reviews are VERY mixed.... anyone had any problems?
Good luck Mini x

minime2017 · 27/10/2018 21:22

Cleo Ive everything crossed for you. When i got the bfp in March I tested positive on the Sunday night but on Monday morning it had vanished so much so I told dh it was another chemical. I tested later that night and the line was back. IC tests are that reliable.
Im still lurking here and still nothing is happening for us. Cycles are varying between 24 and 31 days since my mc. Feeling desperate now and worried Im out of time.
Littlemimosa can I ask what happened on your 1st acupuncture appointment. Im going to find an acupuncturist and see if that helps.

littlemimosa · 27/10/2018 20:36

Evug - I had to laugh at your squint comment lol.

littlemimosa · 27/10/2018 20:36

Cleo - it’s still very early days, try not to fret. Those internet cheapies are supposed to be sensitive but really I think cheap = cheap. Hope you’re relaxing and staying positive.

As for me I went for my first acupuncture today at a proper Chinese place. Am really impressed. The acupuncture was lovely and relaxing (especially under the heat lamps-bliss!) and the guy was quite knowledgeable. He’s done me a great deal too, 6x acupuncture sessions for £150 plus a free week of herbs. Haven’t indulged yet in the deliciousness but will start in the morning. After that it’ll be £35 per week for the herbs. How does that price compare with you ladies doing TCM?

Evug1234 · 27/10/2018 19:02

Cleo Ofcourse it's a bfp if you are getting on 2 brands.....as far as I am concerned I think I have developed a squint staring so hard at stark bfns since past 2 yearsGrin

CritterTamer · 27/10/2018 16:37

@Cleozeta I really don’t know if it makes a difference whether you POAS or dip. I never dip mainly because I can’t bear dealing with the pot of wee!

Maybe just stick to the FRERs so at least you get a true comparison and test again tomorrow or Monday?

Cleozeta · 27/10/2018 16:26

Do you think weeing on or dipping makes a difference (clutching at straws) yesterday I poas today I dipped....

I've written off the cheap internet sticks as every one of them has been bfn even though they are supposed to be super sensitive but frer and cbfm have been bfp

Cleozeta · 27/10/2018 15:52

I really regret testing today. I have learnt a lesson from this. Once I get a bfp be happy and leave it alone! I've now wrecked another day that I could have been so happy. Even if its short lived.
