Just popping in to see how everyone's doing.
Congrats to the bfp's 😄

I'm physically over my ordeal. Saw my GP today who's happy to refer me to a fertility specialist on the nhs considering age, time ttc and that I've already had loads of tests and failed IUI privately. and I don't already have a child.
He screwed his face up a bit at some of my results too..... 🙄
🤞🏻 I won't have to wait months to see someone as I need to get a complaint in to the London Women's Clinic!

Good luck the the rest still waiting.
See some of you on the December bus (I don't think I can jump strait to January 🤪)

dragonmummy17 · 20/11/2018 21:37

@Chocolate89 congratulations!

Chocolate89 · 20/11/2018 20:19

Had a bfp today! 😊😊😊

Queenofmyownheart · 20/11/2018 19:51

Haven't updated in a while, so this month I decided to take a break from the ttc stress in order to enjoy my birthday etc. As it so happens I do believe yesterday (11dpo) I had a squinting, stand on your head, in particular light positive. Not getting my hopes up too much, waiting on some early hpts to arrive from amazon tomorrow. Fingers are massively crossed tho, usually by now I'm a cranky, hormonal, sobbing, in pain mess with pmt, however I've had none of that but have been sooo nauseous the last couple of days and exhausted. Tad cranky today but nothing really.

Diwils · 19/11/2018 22:31

Just waiting till 25th to declare my bfp
Smile

ronniemipperton · 19/11/2018 22:17

I’d say at 8dpo there’s a very good chance it’s an implantation dip. Fingers crossed for you!

Chocolate89 · 19/11/2018 22:14

Temp seems to have taken a dip today at 8dpo. Do you reckon it looks like a possible implantation dip? Or just bbt on the way down pre AF? Xxx

@bunhead34 I get the dark brown spotting between 5 days and a week before AF and I've also read can be low progesterone. I'm having blood tests next week after 6 months of trying because I'm over 35. However I don't think they refer to the clinic until after a year unless they find anything. This will be dc2 so they won't help much anyway

stormtrooperjulian · 18/11/2018 19:05

@bunhead34 my gp said we could start with tests after 9 months then fertility referral after 1 year

Realitysucks · 18/11/2018 18:53

@bunhead34 I have the same, been off OC since beginning of September. It took a couple of months to get back in sync. Just had first proper AF beginning of this month so now just waiting for LH surge. In respect of GP there are a number of factors, age and postcode lottery for one ! I’m in Hertfordshire saw mine last week after private test at clinic. Was told no nhs for me, too old, need to be trying for two years with same partner, only refer with those of AMH over 5 mins is 4. And have no children already. Move to Scotland you get three rounds on NHS !

Elly2708 · 18/11/2018 18:46

Hello! Can I join!
First month actively trying after a potential CP last month, and I’m on CD20 (of 31) so at the start of the horrible TWW. Trying to keep myself occupied so I don’t start imagining symptoms!!!

bunhead34 · 18/11/2018 18:44

@veeboo thanks, I may go along in the new year, if there's no December luck!

veeboo · 18/11/2018 18:36

@bunhead34 nhs website says after a year but I went after 9 months and they started tests then although that may have been because I was having irregular cycles and they wanted to rule out another issue. No harm in asking!

bunhead34 · 18/11/2018 18:22

@stormtrooperjulian it seems to be quite short, I've only been off the pill since June. But each month I've had about a week of dark brown/black bleeding before actual bright red AF comes, (but I'm still calling the dark brown AF) 🤷🏼‍♀️
Has anyone else experienced this?! I read it could be low progesterone.

Another question - how long should you have been trying before going to the gp??

veeboo · 18/11/2018 17:49

@babytrain89 I think it's because my brother has a July baby and always goes on about the difficulties summer babies have. He has made me paranoid but I know I'd just be delighted. About to start the tww in a day or so and start that part of the emotional rollercoaster!!

Babytrain89 · 18/11/2018 16:58

@veeboo exactly...we will just be thrilled either way! It's not being pregnant in summer that worries me, more as and end of July baby myself...I know how naff it can be having a birthday in the summer hols. Silly isn't it!!

I'm hoping I calm down if I'm not pregnant this time round!

veeboo · 18/11/2018 16:39

@babytrain89 and @stormtrooperjulian glad I'm not the only one going through those thoughts and emotions! I'm sure if I get pregnant I won't give it another thought. Just maybe kick myself for worrying!

stormtrooperjulian · 18/11/2018 16:21

@bunhead34 sorry af arrived! How long is your luteal phase usually?

@AIDE2424 congratulations!

@veeboo ideally I wouldn’t want an August baby but I decided I want a baby at any point more than I don’t want to be heavily pregnant in summer or whatever, I’ll take whatever I can get 😂

I’m around 9dpo now and af is due on Thursday I think.

Babytrain89 · 18/11/2018 15:57

congrats @AIDE2424 you must be thrilled!!!

@veeboo I go through similar emotions...though I'm only on cycle 1 TTC, going slightly mad symptom spotting and OH said this morning that he's becoming more and more convinced I am already...but then I'm thinking it woukd be great but maybe better if we conceived next month or after Xmas etc.

I'm only on cycle 1 though so feel like it's very unlikely as only just stopped BC in mid Oct.

Good luck to all!

AIDE2424 · 18/11/2018 14:46

Thankyou! I’ve just done 3 more tests to double check and all positive and a positive on a CB 1-2 weeks! Keeping finger crossed for everyone else!xx

veeboo · 18/11/2018 14:26

Congratulations @AIDE2424!

AIDE2424 · 18/11/2018 14:25

@bunhead34 Been trying over a year just been going through all the fertility tests at the minute and supposed to have a ultra sound Wednesday to check everything’s okay so keeping my fingers crossed it sticks 🤞🏻

bunhead34 · 18/11/2018 14:13

Congrats @AIDE2424 !! How long have you been trying? Xx
