So this morning, as I was forcing my 2.5 yo DS out of bed (tell me about it! Only because I had to go work and was rushing lol) he randomly turned to me as we were going down the stairs and said “mummy got small baby in tummy!!” 😱 now I’m hoping he has special powers and can see inside me but I’m guessing he was just dreaming haha still was very very weird lol

2dpo and still having cramps!! Gonna keep dtd just in case lol xxx

Chanel05 · 24/10/2018 17:38

2dpo (I think) and not working this week, so much time to sit and think about about the tea!

Hi ladies! Would love to join in as really feeling I need some support apart from my poor (amazing) husband. Lol. I've been ttc for the past couple of months after IUD removal. I'm mum of an almost 4 year old boy. At 13 DPO, I got several faint positives. 3 days past missed period, I'm now having what seems like a light period and got a negative pregnancy test this morning. Feeling absolutely gutted. Thinking it was a chemical pregnancy. Anyone relate? The first pregnancy was completely unplanned and I must say, it is so much easier that way! Trying is excruciating. ☹️

Wishful30 · 24/10/2018 15:40

Acupuncture #2 went really well.
She totally agreed that the fertility clinic sent me for IUI when my lining is outta whack and my follicles were too small.
Looks like increasing my veg, fluids and taking some new supplements has already helped.

Then just as I arrived home I had a nice email from the Guide Dogs inviting me for an interview 👍🏻🤞🏻

All in all a positive day ☺️

EverythingNow · 24/10/2018 14:41

@KatnissK thanks lovely. I know in April I didn't get a bfp til 12dpo either so I should stop testing early. I guess in my head I just want to know, even if it's another chemical I want to know and I'm scared if I don't test I'll miss It! That sounds crazy!!

userabcname · 24/10/2018 14:27

Oh @EverythingNow - that sounds tough. Fingers crossed for you- 9dpo is still early. I didn't get a positive with my first on an early response until 12dpo I think. Hope it happens soon for you!

loveshinealight · 24/10/2018 14:10

Managed to DD last night (around 3am though!!) after my positive ovulation test in the morning 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I am going to try and not do any peeing on sticks till at least 12 days post ovulation. (Who am I kidding! Surprised I've not already done one 🤣)

EverythingNow · 24/10/2018 14:05

Successfully wasted a frer today, total bfn at 9dpo (and 3or 4 days post cramping - which were probably indigestion)

I dread to think how much I've wasted in money over the last 18 cycles, just in the hope of seeing anything. Probably about £500 which sounds awfully wasteful.

Had a massive wobble last night after DH had gone to sleep, I know I'm fortunate to have children but I keep thinking I should be 30wks now (had an early loss in April) And I've had nothing since just evaps and indents.

Urgh sorry to be such a downer!

userabcname · 24/10/2018 07:53

Ah I see @ReginaPhalange89- it wasn't FMU but good to know. I'll test later today and see what happens!

Chocolate89 · 24/10/2018 07:35

Hi @wishful30 😊 thats a great idea to only get a few, i think part of the problem last time was that i had about 30 cheap opks and hpts just sitting there! V easy to become obsessed!

Enjoy the accupuncture! I went last week and loved it 😊

Wishful30 · 24/10/2018 06:56

Hey @Chocolate89 👋🏻
We all need a break from time to time. I stepped back completely last month. It really helped!!

Got some super cheap opk's this time. Pack of 5. Usually ovulate day 14/15 (this weekend)
So I thought id get a few and then I can only poas a couple of times. 🙄

Off for round two of acupuncture today. Taking all my test results with me to see if she has an opinion on them 🙂

ReginaPhalange89 · 24/10/2018 06:56

@katnissk what I meant was apparently your morning urine always have a higher level of the hormone, so it might not have actually been positive if you see what I mean ? So you could have maybe got another positive again after the 3pm one ? Did you test again last night? It's best to do them twice a day in case you do miss the surge, I think afternoon and evening are more common for people to test because of the higher levels in fmu not being reliable

KinCat · 24/10/2018 02:42

CD9 here and waiting to ovulate (usually CD13). Not sure why I'm still spotting - period stopped on CD6 then spotting came back on CD8 and a bit today. Hoping it's not a bad sign!

Sharkdo · 23/10/2018 19:09

Hi guys - joining you in here!

TTC no.3 (My two children where conceived super fast)

Cycle no.2

I'm CD24 - believe I OV'd on 18th according to my EWCM.

Its weird as i've always been 28 days. Since starting my cycle seems to have got longer? Ive taken a FRER and got a BFN this morning.

Anyone else around CD24

Good luck to everyone xx

Chocolate89 · 23/10/2018 19:04

Hello can i hop on this bus?? Day 1 today, AF showed up 😣 going to try take it easy this month, going to keep tempting but no opk as I need to give poas a rest. I am a total addict! Think I ov between 17 and 20 so will just try to dtd lots around then 😊

userabcname · 23/10/2018 19:03

Thanks @ReginaPhalange89 I normally do them around 3pm but for some reason this morning I did one around 8am and it was positive! Then did the next one at 3pm again and it was negative but darker than previously as I said. Glad I did test this morning as if that was it I would have missed it! Think I'll keep testing for the next few days though, just in case.

ReginaPhalange89 · 23/10/2018 18:49

Also I always continue testing for a day or two just to check that it definitely was it

ReginaPhalange89 · 23/10/2018 18:48

@KatnissK do you usually test in the morning ? Just wondering as I've heard conflicting advice on when to use OPKs, I always use them around 2pm and 7.30pm ! I'd maybe do another one tonight to see if the line is still lighter ? But get on it anyway ! 😉

userabcname · 23/10/2018 18:34

@mrss - I find the 2ww so stressful - I just want to know!!
I did an opk this morning and it was positive (hooray! CD17 so seems about right for me). Did another this afternoon and it was negative although second line was still v dark - just not as dark as the control line. Can I assume I have had my surge and will ovulate shortly? Or should I keep using the OPKs in case this morning wasn't the real deal?

mrss2018 · 23/10/2018 18:32

@ReginaPhalange89 it's just so hard!!!
I'm not going to test this month (haha) until the day my period is due...I have 9 more days to wait...😩

ReginaPhalange89 · 23/10/2018 18:28

@mrss2018 I've just started a new cycle and honestly my TWW felt like a month long lol. I stupidly started testing at 8dpo and was squinting every morning . I've become so obsessed already 🙈

mrss2018 · 23/10/2018 18:10

I'm nearly half way through my 2ww- anyone else find the second week almost torturous??

ReginaPhalange89 · 23/10/2018 14:54

@loveshinealight no, tonight is perfect timing ! The positive means you'll ovulate in the next 12-36 hours so this is the best time

loveshinealight · 23/10/2018 13:23

I got a positive ovulation test this morning! If I have sex tonight will that be too late?

EverythingNow · 23/10/2018 10:04

Ouch @Shazzy2013x get well soon!
