So I’m currently on day cycle 12 not due ovulation yet but I should be in a few days! Trying for my second is anyone else wants to join this tread to talk about TTC come on over.
I have been tracking my cycles for a few months now but we are only trying from this month.
Please feel free to share your TTC story xx

@RightNow1245 I came off the implant March 2017 so definitely should have settled by now!
@Abzi91 it’s so annoying - I came off the implant because I started getting 2/3 periods a month! Ever since I’m so variable - have a few months of being stable then swing from 30 day cycles to 45, 41 etc! It’s such a pain. We’ve decided not to use OPKs yet as we want to be fairly ‘relaxed’ with TTC but who knows how long that will last!
I think the most annoying thing will be knowing whether I’m late or not and therefore need to test!!

Hello ladies i am new to the site ttc 1 im 29 and had my implant removed beginning of July, was on the pill for a week then came off it so been officially ttc end of July with no luck yet 😕i started taking pregnacare 2 weeks ago to improve my chances, last week was my fertile week and had sex every other day. had sex last night when i went to the toilet i saw i was lightly spotting after sex? could this be implantation bleed im guessing its too early as I believe i ovulated on Friday? has anyone experienced this, really hoping this month is our moth 🙏🏼🤞🏼good luck to all you ladies xxx

Capybaras Welcome.. how long have you been off the implant for? Sometimes it does take a while for your cycles to become regular again.

Thanks abz 😊 yeah it might be worth talking to someone about it.. I’ll see how this month goes and take it from there.
That might be a good sign if it’s not a normal thing for you 🤞🏽 Let’s hooe this thread is lucky.

@Capybaras irregular cycles are a pain, aren't they? It's the same with me, they've only been bang on 35days the last 3 cycles..
DTD every other day seems like a good plan! From reading around Mumsnet, a lot of people seem to recommend OPKs, especially for irregular cycles. Is that an option?

@Rightnow1245 no, not all. It's always the day before AF is due. The lines do look like they're getting slightly darker. Is it worth speaking to anyone about whether breastfeeding could effect it? Enjoy time at softplay with your DS 😊

emmttc yeah I’m using them I will attach a photo.. the line is getting darker 🤔 Yeah I bet it’s going to be a long week! Let’s hope AF stays away 🤞🏽
abz lets hope these cramps are good! Totally normal to symptoms spot... do you get cramps this far away from AF? I’m good just about to take DS to a soft play and keep my mind busy! Because I’m still breastfeeding I think it might be slowing down my ovulation but I’m not expert on this x

Currently on CD7! Annoyingly i used to have regular cycles but since coming off the implant last year I’m all over the place!
Been temping with natural cycles the last few months and input my data into all the apps possible and all day different ovulation dates! So we’re just gonna try and have sex every other day when we think we’re coming up to ov and hope for the best! My OH may have fertility issues (due to testicular issues as a child) so not really sure how it’s going to go!

@Rainbowtrain yeah I’m very apprehensive about using them. I’m already obsessed by this whole prosess is that going to turn me into a complete psycho?! 😂 what stage of your cycle are you at?

I hated the oPKs as I found it so difficult. I got a clearblue monitor second hand last time and it worked for us, so I have started using it again

@Abzi91 I’m trying to keep myself focused by saying to myself by the end of the week I’ll know! 🤞🏻 But the TWW is the worst!! I’m the same symptom spotting every niggle 😩😂 I think I’ll wait two more days then maybe test...

I'm on 11dpo,hoping to ovulate this weekend!
I'm using opk but worried I drink too much tea/water to get a positive test?! It's my first month using them so I'm a little unsure.
Anyway, as I haven't ovulated yet (presuming opk is correct) the predictor apps have been getting my dates totally wrong!

Morning @Rightnow1245! I'm currently struggling to stay awake at work and making a big deal about every little cramp. Symptom spotting already! How are you? How frustrating, hope your ovulation shows up!! 🤞🏽

I'm same as you @EmmTTC. Have only been using my app to track but think I'll be using OPKs next month if AF shows up! Still only 4dpo 😫 AF due on 20th..

Morning!

That is late but everybody is different. Are you using opks? I just went by app and CM and they seemed to match up. If nothing happens this month I will try opks I think?

I am now 5 days till AF. 10dpo. This is going to be one slooooow week. I am feeling some pulling so I’m trying to keep a positive mind but unsure whether my mind is just playing tricks on me and making up symptoms in my head. X

notabumpjusttoomanybiscuits you never know you might just be one of the lucky ones 🤞🏽Same as us we haven’t been using any Contraception since having our son 13 months ago but haven’t really been DTD that often anyway lol 😂 first month of Actively trying as we were using the pull-out method before! I know we could’ve still fell pregnant but it would be very unlikely but was willing to take that chance! But like you said there are only a couple of days in the month it could happen. Fair enough if you don’t want to use OPK, they’re not for everyone 😊

abz I think it happens to a lot of people because everyone’s Cycle is so different and the app is only going by the average person! The app definitely doesn’t line up to my cycle anyway.. I don’t ovulate 16 to 19 days Past period and then my luteal phase is only around 12 days.. and the app says I ovulate around the on the 14th day which is a lot sooner than I do.. so for me it’s definitely worth doing the OPK 😊

Thanks @Rightnow1245 I think I'm in the same boat your sister was - the apps say I've ovulated but still have EWCM. So I may have missed it! DTD every other day, like you, just in case so hopefully it should be okay!! 🤞🏽

I know @Rightnow1245 it's so hard not to symptom spot, cruel wishful thinking! Going to hold off for as long as possible but I don't think it's the month!

It's the first month of trying for us so we would be incredibly lucky if I have conceived! So not beating myself up about it. We haven't been massively safe over the last year or so but decide to try properly recently!

I didn't realise you only had a couple of days to actually make one so this is all new and confusing! Don't think I will OPK though and just dtd lots next month!

Welcome Abzi91 hopefully you won’t need the opk but I do think they are a good idea because my sister wasn’t using anything for months and she was missing her ovulation date by a week due to the app.. first month of using the opk she got her BFP 😊 I think that happens to a lot of people but hopefully the app is spot on for you 🤞🏽
Hi Kitsandkids we are also TTC #2 our DS is 13months old everyone thinks we are a little crazy wanted another so soon! If you are having the same symptoms as last time it sounds positive 😊 are you usually quite regular with your AF?

Hi all, I’m due AF on Saturday and on month 2 of TTC baby number 2. My first is 16 months and it took a long time to have her so I’m hoping it doesn’t take as long to conceive another! That said, in the end, she was conceived during a month when we only DTD once!

I’m trying not to symptom spot but it’s hard! I’ve got a weird red itchy patch of skin on my neck, last week I felt a bit crampy as if AF was coming and yesterday I felt ill but just in a ‘feeling odd’ way - which was my first symptom when I was pregnant.

Hi all! I'm new to this. I'm 27, ttc #1 and this is our first official month trying. I'm 2-3 dpo (AF due on 20th) but have only been using Flo and Clue to track! I feel like there's so much to learn when trying to conceive that I didn't even know about! Hopefully I get a bfp, if not will try OPKs and other stuff I've read about..

AF due sometime towards the end of the week (Thursday-Friday) and I am trying to resist all urge to not POAS!!

I'm so spotty at the moment and not like me to be spotty at all! Keep telling myself to stop being silly / overthinking and just wait but it's so hard😩😩
