TTC October anyone want to join 😊

Hey SwimSwim and waitingforbaby2 hope you don't mind if i join but i'm basically due on similar time to you! My stats:

TTC #1
Age 29
Cycle 5
DPO 3

Had an HSG last month and they said everything was fine and tubes weren't blocked. Some ladies have said they got pregnant soon after the test but trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Dtd on my birthday (14th) which is when i got a solid smiley on CB ov test. Hoping for the best birthday present of them all

Terrible symptom spotter, the past 5 months I've convinced myself i'm pregnant each time then absolutely devastated when AF shows Already obsessing over it this month and still got a long way to go.

When is everyone planning on testing? Or are you all waiting to see if AF comes?

Totally new to all of this so bear with me! Been TTC from middle of September whilst on honeymoon. I was on pill for 15 years and come off earlier this year to find my natural cycle again and my period had become very very light and sometimes non-existent due to stress. Had blood tests etc. and everything was normal. Had first proper period after pill at end of July (90 days after I came off pill) and then didn't get another until 13th Sep so I think I am still irregular but the good news is that my period became very normal again and not barely there as they used to be. So I have not really got a clue when I am ovulating. I have been trying to check my CM but not the best at interpreting it yet. I have been using Flo and Clue apps to add as much info as I can but not sure how correct they are as they predicted my last period would be on 27th Sep but it came along a week earlier.... They reckon my ovulation date is on Friday and we are at it every day just in case!!!

If my AF was regular I would have been due on Sat just gone so I took a test Sunday but it was BFN so ill wait until next week to poss do another as like I said, no idea when I am actually ovulating. Do the ovulation testing kits work???

Is it possible to ovulate 9 days after mc?? Been testing since cd8 because really don't want to miss it now that my cycle is mixed up after mc. The opk was darkest on cd9, 10, 11 then gradually fading since. Would've normally ov'd on cd14 but is it possible to ov that soon after a medical mc? (Hpt have been negative since cd7) any ideas? I'm flumuxed

@SenoraSurf it's not stupid this TTC business is stressful how long have you been trying for is this ur 1st this will be my 2nd

@waitingforbaby2 we are cycle friends! I'm due 27th too  I feel so stupid but can't help but justify every single little feeling and put it down to potential baby. I'm the same with lottery tickets, I'm convinced I've won as soon as I've bought the damn thing!

@SenoraSurf I was like this last month even thought I had only just had my implant out and wasn't even officially trying intil this month but I'm trying so hard to ignore things this time round AF Is due on the 27.10

Im totally mad.
I'm on CD17 and the cramps are real niggely today. Suspected ovulation on CD13/14 and DTD on CD12 and CD16. Though, clue says ovulation was CD15. Literally convincing myself that it's happening like an absolute lunatic. Symptom spotting is totally frustrating, I know it's silly and wrong but still isn't stopping me  god only knows how I'll be in a weeks time!
Is anyone else being this crazy so soon into the TWW?!

Thanks Soph4321, so AF showed last night which is odd as its a good 4-5 days early making my cycle this month just 27 days! i think im going to stop taking pregnacare im sure this had something to do with a short cycle and giving me those ‘pregnant like symptoms’ ive also read they tend to mess yoir cycle up which is the last thing i want! folic acid and vit d combo i think from now on

Thanks mumof4andahalf, that's good to know. I'll bear it in mind if I get a negative this weekend.

Decgal88 last month I was sure I was pregnant because I had the same symptoms as you,and was actually sick a couple of times before I tested. But it was negative. I didn't take pregnacare, I was taking a different brand of fertility vitamins xx

Hi ladies hope AF stays away for all of us and we get some positives! im due this weekend although i have had sore boobs for 2 weeks (dont usually have this) and been feeling sick crampy the last couple if days, i shoukd also mentioned i started taking pregnacare conception 3 weeks ago, so not sure if its due to this is anyone taking pregnacare and had these symptoms? thank you

@Rightnow1245 I got a neg after the positive 😢 I think af is due tomorrow if I count the first day of mmc as day 1 of the cycle.
Leaving testing until the weekend as feel crampy now....let's hope some of us do get that positive this month

@Soph4321 I know it's hard not testing too early but when I got my positive in August I tested twice on my due date and day after and it was negative, I tested 5 days after af was due on a clear blue and it was positive but still faint, frer was a strong positive 2 days later so don't give up hope if it's negative 💕

@Abzi91 it was very faint then the next negative....I'm refusing to test again for another week although I feel crampy so sure af is on way, fingers crossed for everyone else xx

I got the static smiley face on opk Saturday and Sunday, dtd Thursday Sunday and Monday. Hopefully that will do the trick. I've a feeling it won't have tho 😐

@SenoraSurf how exciting. Fingers crossed for you! I think @Rightnow1245 is also the 27th aswell

We've only been trying since June. So not that long, but it's still frustrating that it hasn't happened yet. I was hoping to have a summer baby, as most of my family have birthdays in winter. Would have been nice to balance it out a bit.
My cramps have got worse, so I'm thinking I'll have a negative again this month 😔 x

yeah the inbetween stage gets you hopeful, hence the test yesterday!

Ahh that's frustrating @Rightnow1245! Fingers crossed you get the same luck as last time and DTD once is enough for a BFP! 😊🤞🏽

@Rightnow1245 I think I will probably test on the 26th as I'm going on a weekend away with family so I wanna know either way so I can a drink or not also if I do get a BFP or I'm not certain how can I avoid drinking as my cousin has already mentioned bringing a bottle with her for us to share

So many of you in the TWW! I have my fingers crossed for all of you. Although AF was a massive disappointment! I don’t miss the TWW! It’s the hardest part of the cycle. So long and I feel such desperation! Hopefully you will all get your BFPS soon! How exciting!

Rightnow1245 isn't it fascinating how many people actually ovulate at different times to what that say is "average"
When I did my 1st day opk it was negative, next day light positive, day after darker positive, next day negative. We did DTD every other day leading up to the opk testing and after too. So hopefully it's worked.
It's funny how I got pregnant last time by forgetting to take 2 days of pills. But this time it's taking months of trying. I guess we're both older now, my youngest is nearly 6 x

@abzi91 fingers crossed for you 🤞they sound the same cramps as mine, but I have my twinge on the right side.
I get what you mean though, I usually get AF cramps a day or two before I'm due. And then the other time is on ovulation week. So this inbetween stage of cramping is confusing. Xx

@rightnow1245 when did u ovulate? I tried opks for the first time this month, and I ovulate Wednesday. I'll be testing early on Sunday though, because I think my partner is working away next week.
Although I'll try not to get my hopes up, as I've woken up this morning with a lot more cramps. So I think it might just be preparing for AF 😭 x
