@ValidUser just feel stupid. He or she wasn't even formed, and it was in August. Feel I should sort myself out. No need not to be positive atm darling x x

@MrsR16 just feel abit silly babe if I'm honest. :(. So sad about your mum x x

@EssJayyCee it'll be so much easier when you know what to expect!

@FlapJackered I'm just doing the basic track of my cycle using Flo, but not temping or using OPKs. I'd get far too obsessed and that wouldn't be ideal for babymaking!

@Delilah7 oh sweetheart, you can't be expected to get over your loss very quickly! My poor mum had 7 MCs... I'm sure they all affected her just like this is affecting you xx

ValidUser · 15/10/2018 19:58

And thank you for your optimism.

ValidUser · 15/10/2018 19:55

@Delilah7 it's genuinely sad and of course you're grieving. X

Delilah7 · 15/10/2018 19:46

@gjchapman love to you... ❤️

@EssJayyCee I'm glad you're both on the same page though. Keep on this thread or with the new one when it's made. We will miss you x x

@ValidUser keep hope and faith 😍 FX!

Feeling abit down tonight. Missing knowing I had a baby inside me. Me talking to it when it was hardly developed. 😔

ValidUser · 15/10/2018 19:25

@FlapJackered I really, really hope so! ❤️

FlapJackered · 15/10/2018 19:22

@gjchapman - Its so frustrating isn't it. It's so hard as it is without having the added opposition of a DH who isn't putting the effort in. As hard as it is I would just keep reminding him of the goal if he isn't making an effort. I had a proper cry in front of my DH a few weeks ago when he was yet again rejecting me during fw and I think it hit home a bit more. I think sometimes they just need repeatedly spelling it out for them.

@EssJayyCee oh no! I am sorry hun. I hope you're ok? Yes please stick around and we will be here when you start trying again.

@ValidUser i swear I can see a line on the first response on the white/pink background. Unless it's an indent. Give it a few days and test again. 🤞🏻

@MrsR16 - that's so sweet your DH wanted to know about it all!
Are you tracking your cycles at all? Temping/opks? It's tough when you don't know when to expect AF.

EssJayyCee · 15/10/2018 19:12

Thanks @MrsR16 Yeah it was a bit of a shock when he came out with his reasons but it makes complete sense. I was so ready for getting pregnant! At least in 5 months time my cycles should have completely normalised so I'll know what's going on!

MrsR16 · 15/10/2018 18:59

@ValidUser and what better ladies to share the crazy with? Haha! We'll all be there at some point - it's nice to know that the support will be there too 😂 xx

ValidUser · 15/10/2018 18:56

@MrsR16 I think I might finally have snapped. Hmm

MrsR16 · 15/10/2018 18:54

@ValidUser wow, you're definitely addicted to poas!! 😂 my eyes are poor at the best of times, I'm not even going to make a judgment call! Your symptoms sound promising though!

@EssJayyCee aw hun, we're still all here for you! You've gotta do what's right for you and your OH for sure. Definitely don't be a stranger!

@FlapJackered I love your approach! I had the conversation with my DH last night "do you actually know anything about TTC?" And he said "no!" So there was me sat explaining... hopefully it'll make life a bit easier for me. That said, I'm now in my TWW although I'm not even convinced I've ov'd this month!

@gjchapman that's so awful for your colleague, but definitely not helpful for you! It's so difficult with people all around you falling pregnant... as already mentioned by other ladies, I definitely had a pang of envy when Harry and Meghan announced!

ValidUser · 15/10/2018 18:30

And this morning's:

TTC FIRST BABY THREAD NO.5!
TTC FIRST BABY THREAD NO.5!
ValidUser · 15/10/2018 18:29

Ok, I think that possible positive was my imagination!

Here's this afternoon's (granted it was probably dilute wee).

TTC FIRST BABY THREAD NO.5!
gjchapman · 15/10/2018 18:15

@FlapJackered yeah we have had loads of conversation and me explaining and him agreeing and saying he'll try harder. One month he did try then it goes again ;( it's so disheartening when I'm trying so hard to track and look after myself ;(
People say it'll happen. Yeah when!!

EssJayyCee · 15/10/2018 18:15

After many tears and snot bubbles my OH and I have decided to postpone TTC until March. Sad I am sad about this but the reasons behind it make complete sense.

I'll be sending you all the luck in the world and will most likely still stalk this thread! Grin

FlapJackered · 15/10/2018 18:03

@gjchapman so sorry you're having a bad day. Moan away, we have all been there. The men folk generally just don't seem to get it do they. My DH is exactly the same although he is putting in some effort this cycle it has taken a lot of conversations and nagging him on my part, which I don't enjoy doing.
Have you had a proper conversation about it with him to get him to see what needs to happen if he wants a family? My DH was grumbling about taking vitamins, and I just said hang on - I am doing so much, taking opks, trying to eat well, reduce drinking and then I will have to spend 9 months dedicating my body to creating your offspring and you are complaining about taking some vitamins - he doesn't complain any more! 😂 😂

gjchapman · 15/10/2018 17:57

Colleague*

gjchapman · 15/10/2018 17:33

Hi,

well I haven't been on here this month to try and get it out of my head but it's not working. Cycle 10 I'm so down today, my college has had a miscarriage, none of us knew she was pregnant. So now more than ever I'm thinking about babies and getting pregnant. I'm just so fed up. Trying to get DH to take vitamins and trying to get him to want to do it at the important time. I keep getting that I'm putting pressure on him, he says he wants this as much as me so why can't he just do it when we are ment to!! I wish he could trade places and realise what I go through every month. ;( hope all you ladies are well. I just needed a sad moan xx

Delilah7 · 15/10/2018 16:47

@KatBeCool envious is better than jealousy :)

OP posts:
KatBeCool · 15/10/2018 16:06

@Delilah7 @FlapJackered I'm with you, seeing someone get pregnant so quick does make me a tad sad. I don't want to use the word "envious" but I can't deny how badly I wish I was pregnant too after just a couple of months trying and still be happy for them too.

@EssJayyCee it sounds like that entire batch is faulty. I'd order a new one, maybe different brand in case the entire supply of that one is bad.

So my temps went back up yesterday and today. I was waiting until today to make sure they stay up. Also learned that there is such thing as "corpus luteum dip". But of course it doesn't happen for everyone, it doesn't happen every time. Blah blah blah... usual things to make this harder for us.

EssJayyCee · 15/10/2018 16:04

Tried that @ValidUser and it's even lighter. I think I might just give up with them and just hope for the best trying to DTD every other day with my fingers crossed.

ValidUser · 15/10/2018 15:49

Batches can be faulty. Probably more likely than a single faulty one.

Use one with water instead of wee?

EssJayyCee · 15/10/2018 15:34

@ValidUser got a pack of 50! Surely they can't all be faulty?
Your symptoms all sound so promising I hope you're pregnant and AF isn't coming to stay!

ValidUser · 15/10/2018 15:25

@EssJayyCee they must be a faulty pack - regardless of your wee's power, control line should be strong.

EssJayyCee · 15/10/2018 15:24

I started doing an OPK a day at CD10 now CD13 but each time I do it.. the control line barely comes up so if I'm coming in to ovulate I won't even know because it's so faint?

Any one else get faint control lines?
