EssJayy you were asking earlier... I'm just gone 29, on cycle 5 but miscarried two weeks ago at 6 weeks. Back on the TTC bus now tho and not dwelling on it too much. So currently on CD7.

@EssJayyCee the longer you wait, the more likely you are to get a correct reading! Even at 10dpo which is where I am, I'm pushing my luck testing on Sunday... I could still end up with a false BFN. I reckon give it another couple of days since your last test and see how it goes. Have you got any signs of AF coming at all? I don't check my temp, but I know lots of the ladies on here do.

@mrsR16 I'm not sure. This is only my second cycle since being off the pill. My first one was 45days! I was irregular before the pill..
I'm only thinking about testing because of all the symptoms I've been getting but then with BFN'S already I'm reluctant to be let down again.

Hi, is this group for anyone TTC baby number 1?
I’m on cycle 4 although it feels like more.
Currently AF is 6 days late and no standard PMS symptoms. However I’ve got a heavy feeling down there, peeing a lot and lotion like CM...but two BFNs. So frustrating. I feel you ladies, this timing and waiting game is exhausting.
Glad I found Mumsnet so I’m not sharing my paranoia with my DH all the time :) x

@EssJayyCee I'm only on CD25 today, so am planning on testing on CD27! DH is away this weekend so that'd be a great surprise to let him have when he comes home!

@mrsR16 you should never rule it out. Some people don't get symptoms!

I don't know when to retest! Done it on Cd24 and cd26 both BFN. When do you think? What CD are you on? X

Hey @EssJayyCee I'm 25, cycle 2, planning on testing this weekend! I have had absolutely no symptoms this month though, so I very much doubt I'm going to get a BFP this month!

@Crossfitgirl I'm gonna tell you same thing I tell my husband "do one thing at a time". You weren't given the new role because someone thought you'd be horrible at it and fail, you got it because others trusted you can do it. But don't try to do everything at once.

@cupcakesandglitter symptom spotting is already driving me crazy!
Half of the symptoms I have I've never had as a AF signs but the BFN's obviously tell a different story to the symptoms!

My symptoms are:
Around CD11 I had one night of pinkish spotting (I assumed ov spotting)
CD18 got a headache that then developed into dizzy spells and lightheadedness until CD24.
CD20 I started getting loads of spots on my chin (I never get spots!) And they keep on coming still now!
CD24 had mild ache in boobs. BFN
CD25 My left nipple had a weird 'burst' of pins and needles that happened twice.
CD26 BFN
CD27 had the same nipple thing on both nipples. And at night I had a vein on both boobs that was sticking right out. And a weird tingling feeling to the right of my belly button.
CD28 today I've had the belly button thing .( I just realised I have been putting 29 on everything But it's actually 28!)

So yeahvery confused with it all!
Wow! Very late AF! FINGERS CROSSED THERE IS STILL HOPE! It ain't over till the red lady sings! Xx

Hi @essjayycee and welcome to the madness! I am 30, married a year, ttc #1 cycle 6, trying since May.

Is anybody on here in a management job? I'm in a fairly new role (well, since Feb) and have just got home. I have SO much to do I felt panicked, so had to write it all down and have 3 A4 pages worth of jobs, none of which are really delegatable, I hate it as I'm so stressed and I don't want to be stressed while TTC!

Any tips on managing a huge workload besides prioritising shit? I'm debating working tonight at home and trying to get through things now, undistracted, but I am also working the weekend and don't want to have no break at all . Thought about booking a reflexology session but that doesn't resolve the situation at hand, which is that i cant relax until I feel like I'm a bit more on top of my list.

But it continues to mount and im sure my stress levels atm will send any kind of fertilized egg right back up into my ovary!!

@cupcakesandglitter cm is a mystery for sure. You'd think your body would be on your side. And I've seen and read plenty where people say that ewcm and ovulation don't always line up. I'm a strong believer in "your body knows better what's best for it" so I dunno what it knows when ewcm shows up two days after ovulation. But I guess we should use it as a sign to DTD.

@KatBeCool Yeah I suppose that's true - I monitor mine so I know when I ov but Delilah hasn't had a dark enough + OPK yet so is unsure. Only other thing to go off is Cm but even then that doesn't guarantee ov xx

@cupcakesandglitter I wouldn't go by what the app suggests until you actually find when you ovulate. I would miss mine if I listened to the app. Some suggest I ovulate three days sooner than I actually do and suggest to stop testing right as I'm about to ovulate. And around peak I test twice a day. And if you don't know how long is your surge, even three times might be needed. Surge can be as short as only six hours. If it's at least 24 hours than once a day is fine, but I'm still worried I'll miss it, so once a day is never enough. Good thing there are internet cheapies.

@EssJayyCee AF is late - no BFP for me! Welcome to the world of symptom spotting, it'll drive you crazy 😂 I'd maybe wait until CD30 or so - it can take sometime for your cycles to become regular after the pill (mine were super whacky for a few months) but then again you could also get your BFP straight away if you caught it! Maybe test once a week until AF comes(or doesn't)? Xx

@cupcakesandglitter so your AF is late or have you got BFP?! I'm unsure if I may be pregnant had loads of signs and symptoms. I tested Monday and Wednesday with BFN both times but because I'm unsure on my cycle lengths I don't know if/when I ovulate or when I'm meant to be due so unsure when to test!

@EssJayyCee mine are on average 29 days - hopefully your cycles will settle nice and quickly and you'll get your BFP 😊 xx

@cupcakesandglitter oh Good haha! You are about 7 days ahead of me. What length are your cycles?
I'm not sure on mine. I was irregular before the pill and only second cycle since stopping it so far. My first cycle was 45 days!
