@EssJayyCee I did one a day starting at CD10 and got a positive on CD15 which was back to negative on CD16. So I used 6 that month. But I think some ladies test multiple times a day to be sure they catch the surge, cos it can be fairly short and if you only test once per day you can miss it.

Been having a hard time at work, feeling as though ive been having borderline panic attacks and needed some down time.

@stormtrooperjulien on average how many opk do you use in a month? I'm just trying to work out how many to buy.

Got another BFN this morning. I guess it wasn't meant to be this month

@mrsof20118 on the first day it started as a little bit of dark brown spotting and got pink and a little heavier in the evening. Then the next day it was like fresh blood, not as heavy as a normal period tho, but with a couple of odd looking clots. Didn't get as heavy as a normal period but lasted 5 days in total, went back to the drs a week later and the test was neg.

@EssJayyCee sounds like a good plan! Fx means fingers crossed 😊 I have zero idea, I ovulated so long ago I don't think it could be implantation x

@Mrsof20118, so sorry you’re no further on. I find the not knowing what’s happening the hardest bit 😢 Take it easy over the next few days if you can xx

@cupcakesandglitter I have already got my hopes up because of symptoms I am going to do a test tomorrow on CD30 if it's BFN again then I'm going to assume I've not ovulated and get back on the BD'ing! (Once water infection completely gone anyway!)

What does Fx mean? (Still quite new to some abbreviations)
Oh no! So sorry about the possible appearance of AF! Could it be anything else? Implantation or anything?

@EssJayyCee I don't want to get your hopes up but I've read that for both ovulation but also some women have had it in early pregnancy so fx for you xx

So small update from me - just went to the loo and was gonna do an OPK and had a small spot of super light brown spot on my pad. Dry too and I've not been to the loo in a few hours so it's not from just now. DH checked my cervix and it was clear. Wiped and had a very very small brown/pink watery spot on the tissue. I fear AF may be coming (although I never usually get this beforehand) 😩

@cupcakesandglitter it's stretchy sort of egg white I guess but I thought I'd already ovulated...

@EssJayyCee what kind of Cm is it? When I was ovulating I had EWCM with a very small yellow tinge. Since AF was supposed to come I've had creamy Cm that has definitely been more yellowy x

Hi all. Back from the go out of hours at hospital and just advised to take a test in a week but if bleeding gets worse to go back in. Had a clot so suspecting it is a chemical and early miscarriage. Gp also made a comment about early pregnancy tests and back in his day they weren't around so people wouldn't even know they were having an early miscarriage. Xx

TMI but what could yellow tinted CM mean?

@BabySquid, so sorry to hear of your MC, heartbreaking for you. I have a suspicion that I’ve just lost a pregnancy too at the same stage as you - We had tonnes of pregnancy symptoms a couple of weeks ago and I just knew I was pregnant. We got our first ever BFP last Friday when I was 7 days late, but on Sunday and Monday tests were all negative, which was confirmed at an unrelated nurses appointment that afternoon. I’d had weird spotting for a week, even before the Positive, but then got the most horrific period I’d ever had on Thursday and yesterday - heavy doesn’t even describe it, and lots of huge fibrous clots? Dates would have made me 6 weeks today. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure I’ve lost a pregnancy rather than simply being late. 😢

Hi all, is anyone currently late? AF hasn’t appeared and my average cycle is 30, currently at day 37. Slight period-sequence cramps earlier but usually they last a long time and these lasted about 10 mins. I’m also on holiday so no chance of nipping our to get some cheapy pregnancy tests.

Anyone else weeing a LOT? Seems to be the only symptom I have. Thabkgod we can all symptom spot here without any judgment

@KatBeCool - so so with you. Think I’ve eaten about 20 baguettes this week when I usually don’t really eat bread. Constantly hungry atm! Its gonna feel embrassing when AF starts tomorrow x

@KatBeCool I had 2 breakfasts then when we were out I felt starving drained as if I hadn’t eaten in hours and hours. This will be the start of me doing my imaginary symptom spotting

@Delilah7 if you had regular cycles before, you'll have them again. Your body went through a shock, so it's normal for it to take time to adjust. Don't even worry, you'll get pregnant again.

@MrsMcNtobe I'm always super hungry after ovulation for like a week. I want to eat constantly. DH looks at me as if I've gone mad because I'd say that I'm hungry thirty minutes after a large dinner haha

@DoveGreylove you have to explain to your DH that there are only a couple of days a month when you're fertile. So if he wants a baby, he needs to DTD when you tell him to, tired or not. Most men don't even realize this.
