@stormtrooperjulian sorry, reading back it wasn't a clear question at all 😂 that's the same as me this cycle x

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 19:18

@ValidUser Is a longer luteal phase good?

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 19:16

@FivexFive going to see Venom (with Tom Hardy) tomorrow night with my nephew, but no weekend plans at yet, started a new job this week so my head is chocka, looking forward to couch time with my DP and chilling out,

DP starts her fertile window next week so I need to get some stuff off Amazon (OPK's) etc. going to broach the subject with our donor about the possibility of getting three donations this cycle (Sunday Monday and maybe Tuesday) what do you all think? Is that too much?

ValidUser · 04/10/2018 19:15

@Dosmamas I use pregnacare conception too and if anything it's given me a longer luteal phase.

I get really nauseated with ordinary vitamins, but these are fine!

FlapJackered · 04/10/2018 19:14

@Crossfitgirl - I feel the same about smep. DH is full of talk with it but he can be bad at seeing things through despite good intentions, we will see! Although he hasn't mentioned anything I think he is surprised it hasn't happened for us yet and he is really keen so hopefully that will inspire him to initiate more! Hopefully your DH will stick to it too. We will have to have team smep updates and plan b seduction techniques!

@stormtrooperjulian Sorry af arrived but it is reassuring that you had a better bleed as that is hopefully good news for next cycle.
mine is pretty light and only lasts 2 days.

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 19:04

@stormtrooperjulian normally in the morning after breakfast but that makes so much sense to take them at night. Thankyou

stormtrooperjulian · 04/10/2018 19:01

@Dosmamas I haven’t had any problems with them. What time of day does your partner take hers? I read that taking them just before bed can help reduce nausea etc, and that’s when I take mine.

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 18:58

@stormtrooperjulian that's cute of him, I have seen the pregnacare ones recommended, how are they on your tummy? My partner has tried three different brands and each one has made her really nauseous.

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 18:57

@FivexFive that's a sensible way of doing it, if the NHS say stick to the basics then maybe we will too. Smile

stormtrooperjulian · 04/10/2018 18:56

@Dosmamas I take the Pregnacare Conception ones. We got the his & hers ones, no idea if they really do help men with anything but DH wants to feel like he’s doing something.

ValidUser · 04/10/2018 18:54

@Dosmamas you're the person you meant to reply to and only remembered now! I used to do wine and chocolate for pms, but these days I'm trying to avoid drinking after the first few days of the TWW. I'm trying exercise, but it just doesn't have the same charm...

FivexFive · 04/10/2018 18:52

@Dosmamas I just take folic acid with vit D, as per nhs advice. Get mine from from holland and barratts. Haven't bothered with others, having heard mixed reviews and sure how much good they really do?? But I am trying to eat better... we'll see how that goes!

Almost purchased a book on.pregnancy today, but stopped myself as it seems a bit 'tempting fate' to get one when I'm not actually pregnant!

It's almost Friday ladies! Anyone got any weekend plans? All of you on af should definitely treat yourselves to a little something! Xxx

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 18:12

@mrsof20118 ooh that sounds horrible, I've heard quite a few negative things about them. Looking for some recommendations on here, it's a bit of a minefield.

mrsof20118 · 04/10/2018 18:09

@Dosmamas we tried the pre conception seven seas and they made me quite bloated and painful tummy!

feverbee · 04/10/2018 17:57

AF has arrived 🙈 I think we're all syncing! on to cycle 3. We're going to try eating better this cycle, exercising more and drinking less alcohol. I've also just started taking pregnancy vitamins. Has anything else helped for you gals?

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 17:39

Basic questions here, what are your preferred pre-Natals we have run out and want to get some decent ones, I've been put off getting seven seas after women described their cycles changing.

stormtrooperjulian · 04/10/2018 13:20

@cupcakesandglitter my light period was 2 days of very light bleeding and a day of spotting, so quite a bit shorter than usual (I wasn’t sure whether you meant the cycle or the period 😂)

Delilah7 · 04/10/2018 13:19

Sorry to hear about the AFs ladies.

Got my bloods back since my hospital trip in August, I went only last week for he bloods. My blood cells are back to normal but my amylase are raised and high... any doctors or nurses that know what that means haha. Can't tell me the levels till I've spoke to doctor Monday but it's been this way since last year x x

@stormtrooperjulian sorry hun I asked the wrong question 😂 I meant how long did AF last for? Mine is only two/three days I think which is so unusual for me! How long have you been off contraception now? X

stormtrooperjulian · 04/10/2018 13:13

@cupcakesandglitter this cycle was only 25 days, 3 days shorter than last time. I guess my cycles are still settling after coming off the implant. I remember being very regular as a teen but that was a long time and a lot of hormonal contraceptives ago!

EssJayyCee · 04/10/2018 12:50

AF has shown her face in full style! Hello CD1.
Do you count spotting days as cd1 or first day of full bleeding?

cupcakesandglitter · 04/10/2018 12:50

Also @stormtrooperjulian sorry to hear about AF 😔 XX

cupcakesandglitter · 04/10/2018 12:48

@stormtrooperjulian mine is crazily light this cycle, did yours last the same length? Xx

Delilah7 · 04/10/2018 12:33

@stormtrooperjulian I'm sorry Hun xx

AF arrived yesterday for me, but on the bright side it’s heavier than last month and seems more normal so I’m finding it encouraging that my lining must have been better this time around. Last month af was so light I was worried that my lining was too thin to support anything.
