@CookieWaffle it'll happen lovely! But it's so hard when the months go ticking by... xx

Delilah7 · 06/10/2018 17:52

@MrsR16 good lucky darling xx
Me too but we will see!

@CookieWaffle I thought that might be the case with age, it does sound costly some of the things I've read. Keep positive hun I know it's hard :( xxx

Yeah unfortunately for me @Delilah7 a year is a bit long when you're 40! I've heard it's 6 months for over 40 but after hearing all the treatments the ladies on the 40s thread have been through I'm thinking I should just let nature take its course, sounds all very traumatic and costly.

Good luck @MrsR16! xx

MrsR16 · 06/10/2018 17:46

So just entered my FW! Fingers crossed for this cycle! Good luck to all you ladies in the 2WW!

@Delilah7 relaxed has definitely got to be the way to go! It's gotta be better for everyone 😊 I really hope you get a sticky bean soon lovely!

@Crossfitgirl fingers crossed for you to actually be in the vicinity of DH when you're in your FW! 😂

Delilah7 · 06/10/2018 17:45

@CookieWaffle exactly and I hate to say it but they normally say no to worry don't they until after a year, I've heard that but might be wrong?? Yeah it defo has brought us closer. I don't think they realise sometimes how devastating each cycle goes by is too us really do they x

CookieWaffle · 06/10/2018 17:43

Thanks ladies xxx

Ah well, I was thinking I'd wait 6 cycles before going to docs for more help but I don't feel ready to put myself through that yet. Let's see how cycle 7 goes. At least I've got plenty of house distraction at the moment.

Glad OH and you are sounding happy at the mo @Delilah7, definitely been closer with my OH while going through this. Tho when I told him this month we were out he said nothing. I think he mightve been disappointed but some comfort woulda been nice.

Delilah7 · 06/10/2018 17:22

@Crossfitgirl probably Hun as it likes to be a bastard like that, how are you feeling about another cycle? I'm defo trying to relax abit more with it. It got me pregnant last time so! got to be abit more positive. Me and OH are so good and have been since MC it's been wonderful. ( not that we weren't before but we niggled about silly stupid things ). X x

Thanks @delilah7 new cycle now, though I'm going away for 4 days next weekend then again the weekend after for 2 nights! So not sure how DTD will go working around that... can guarantee FW will be when I'm away! Lol x

Delilah7 · 06/10/2018 16:11

Lots of love to you @Crossfitgirl @CookieWaffle

Delilah7 · 06/10/2018 14:36

@CookieWaffle sorry for AF darling x x

CookieWaffle · 06/10/2018 14:13

Ugh, spoke too soon. AF is here early...

Delilah7 · 06/10/2018 12:58

@Crossfitgirl thanks Hun. The only probably is I've done that for years and I've had enough. I understand where you're coming from as I always think that way but when it's to do with my mum and dad shit changes. Xx

@purplestar9 congratulations to your sisters! 😍

OP posts:
purplestar9 · 06/10/2018 12:13

@CookieWaffle thank you!
My sister had her baby last week, little girl. She's so cute it's unbelievable! I was helping to look after her other two kids while she was in hospital ( she was there for 5 days!) and that was exhausting!
And, I found out a couple of weeks ago, that my other sister is pregnant too! Not sure if I told you all. She's two weeks ahead of me!
Christmas is getting expensive haha!

CookieWaffle · 06/10/2018 12:06

Glad everything is going well @purplestar9 :) I'm excited for you for your 12 week scan!

purplestar9 · 06/10/2018 11:57

@Crossfitgirl yep far too much going on, not even sure I'll be able to keep up now!
I'm good thank you! Just waiting for my appointment for my 12 week scan now. Sometimes still doesn't feel real!
I hope everyone here is doing okay and I'll try to check in a bit more often!

CookieWaffle · 06/10/2018 11:57

Hooray @ValidUser for no more exams and boo for AF :( I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the syringing. Would be a great story to tell!

@Crossfitgirl ahh no worries my dear, sorry it turned up :( I think SSP is going on overdrive. Spotting has stopped, cramps still being weird. I'm starting to think its either wind or I have some serious disease which I'm sure Google could find for me. Still in theory 4 days til AF....

Crossfitgirl · 06/10/2018 11:57

@stormtrooperjulian haha haha 😂😂😂

🐕 style I like it haha

I'm totally doing that next time! I need to get some decent lube lol. Soon as I come off my period, it's every other day the whole month!

Crossfitgirl · 06/10/2018 11:53

@delilah7 if you do, maybe try and say something that is not going to make the situation worse, sometimes getting involved and having a go at people only makes it worse, but sometimes just leaving it means that things resolve on their own, people realise they are wrong and come around...
And also, this is really hard to do but sometimes, even when someone else is in the wrong, and you are right, if your end goal is for everyone to be happy then sometimes just swallowing it hard and being nice to them, or telling them you are sorry (not for anything you have done, but if they feel that you have upset them for whatever reason, EVEN if you haven't done anything wrong, sometimes acknowledging they are upset too and apologising can prompt them to think about you, to calm down, and realise maybe they need to apologise, and apologise too).
I have found that recently, after arguments with DH, sometimes even when I'm totally mad at him and have done NOTHING wrong (e.g. he's got mad at me for not washing his shorts, and I'm totally not in the wrong but he's mad at me anyway) I have actually apologised, and actually he was mad at something totally different (I.e. not washing his shorts = I wasn't thinking about him = I clearly don't love him = he's mad because he's insecure that his wife doesn't love him!) So actually just apologising for making him feel like that, even though it was through no fault of my own and I hadn't meant to, resolved it - he realised how thick he was being and apologised back and was extra nice to me for ages after.

Haha. Anyway that's just an example, I don't know if it helps with your situation at all but i have found sometimes it's easier to just swallow your pride for your own sanity and be the bigger person, I've found if I think we'll I'm doing it for me because it means I don't have to stress about it any more, it makes it easy!

@purplestar9 I wouldn't even bother trying to catch up - SO much chatter, just start again from now lol. A few AFs have come, a few SMEPs will be starting, some sad news of MC and some BFPs - the usual ups and downs of all this! How are you? Xx

stormtrooperjulian · 06/10/2018 11:43

@Crossfitgirl @ValidUser I have on occasion when I’m too tired just got on all fours, handed DH the lube and told him to make it quick 😂😂 almost as romantic as the cup and syringe!

purplestar9 · 06/10/2018 11:04

I can't believe there's another thread already! I'm sorry I'm not keeping up to date, please everyone update me as to what's been going on! I've tried to read through but there's just too much to get through!
@FivexFive good luck with AAT! I'm AAT qualified, loved doing that course!

Delilah7 · 06/10/2018 10:56

@Crossfitgirl first house I've been in to do as as last Xmas I had surgery so couldn't. I've invited mum and dad and in-laws round for Christmas dinner. And normally Boxing Day we would go to my sisters but I just don't want to.

Mums just sobbed to me and I'm torn. I so have to say something to them... I can't deal with this anymore. It's going to make her and my dad even more unwell.

OP posts:
Crossfitgirl · 06/10/2018 10:35

@laurenmay well good luck, I hope AF stays away. I have only tested twice in the 6 months we've been trying and both have been after AF was due, after seeing the struggles in here with the FRERS, whether to trust them or not etc, it's just not worth it.

But the waiting can be sooo hard especially when SSP rears her head!

Crossfitgirl · 06/10/2018 10:33

@delilah7 oh it's not even Halloween yet! Loads of time! What do you usually do at Christmas? We always stay at home and invite my parents round to ours so we don't have to go anywhere 😁 we sometimes get invited to my SIL with all her rough family and about 20 kids so we just say nope sorry we already invited my parents round so we're tied to that... hehe!

@validuser that does sound romantic!! Haha - but whatever works, did you say you have back problems? I sometimes wish I had the option to do that... DH would never go for it, but for those times when I'm just not in the mood at all Or too tired etc, a practical option to get it where it needs to be would sometimes be welcomed!!

LaurenMay · 06/10/2018 10:29

@Crossfitgirl I've never really been a drinker, i normally drink like 4 times a year at work dos. I don't drink tea or coffee either... Coca Cola is my down fall, I'll drink maybe 3/4 a day.
Yeah AF is due tomorrow so I will be testing Monday... I want to be optimistic but I'm afraid of getting my hopes up again just to be disappointed. So I am waiting (and praying).
