Hi girls I'm back, I've had an early loss, obviously gutted and don't think I will be as active on the thread for a bit but just wanted to place mark back on here

MrsC87 · 08/10/2018 19:26

Thanks @FlapJackered & @Delilah7 😘
It's good to be back chatting with you guys too, missed this thread recently 💕

FlapJackered · 08/10/2018 19:16

@MrsC87 Acht sorry about the bfn - they are so mean! Although still very early so you're definitely still in the running this cycle!

@mrsof20118 I love the covert notepad operation. Your colleagues must think you're extremely devoted to your job going to the loo with a notepad all the time 😂

@FivexFive oh no! Those pesky colds always come at the wrong time...paper bag over head? 😉

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 19:14

@MrsC87 good idea hun. Take it easy on yourself xx

@FivexFive yes girlllll

@babysquid @Delilah 7, love coming on here, you gals have the best tips :)

MrsC87 · 08/10/2018 19:02

@Delilah7 I'm good thanks, trying to keep busy! Yeh I haven't anymore tests other than a digital so now not going to buy anymore until I get a missed AF. I'll be disappointed either way but it's just pissing money down the toilet quite literally lol xx

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 18:59

@FivexFive @BabySquid or... face down ass up? 😂😂😂😂

@mrsof20118 what a bloody clever idea!!! Xx

@MrsC87 not bad how're you? Defo do believe now I'm not testing till AF I know it's hard but I had a BFN before my BFP before x x

OP posts:
MrsC87 · 08/10/2018 18:47

Hi all, so things are pretty quiet here, AF is due sat/Sunday. Stupidly just did an early response test as I've had really sore boobs this cycle and it's a bfn. Never gets any easier 🙄
How is everyone? xx

mrsof20118 · 08/10/2018 18:36

Hope you are all well ladies. Think I'm coming up to fertile window providing my cycles aren't messed up due to chemical so been sneaking mine ovulation tests in a notepad into the ladies at work. Only way I can get away with it without lugging my bag about and making it obvious! X

BabySquid · 08/10/2018 18:31

@FivexFive one word... spooning!!! 😏

FivexFive · 08/10/2018 18:13

Gaaaagh!! People have been coming to work with The Cold and now I have it! Typical, right as I get a flashing smiley face. Grrr.
Ah well, dh and I will just have to have gross snotty sex this week, with breaks for us to cough. Tmi :)

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 16:38

@KatBeCool I know I just think I have a better chance now if I am a coeliac ( which I'm sure I am ) as it's more likely for pre term labour if gone undiagnosed x x

OP posts:
KatBeCool · 08/10/2018 15:54

@Delilah7 what I meant to say is, don't look at it as an obstacle. You can be cautious, sure, just believe that you will have a healthy baby (or five) in the end.

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 15:43

@FlapJackered I'm going in a months time to see if the levels have dropped Hun. I didn't realise how badly it can effect you and your pregnancy once you're pregnant if you aren't diagnosed with it but have it! So I need to proper stick to it as I'm sure I am one tbh after all the tests etc x x

OP posts:
FlapJackered · 08/10/2018 15:41

@Delilah7 ah I see! Have you got another test booked in for your pancreas levels?
I find it so tough sometimes to say no to yummy gluten filled treats but I pretty much pass out after eating things like pizza so it's just not worth it. I have just been doing some reading about it and definitely going to stick to it really strictly if I get pregnant!

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 15:31

@FlapJackered yeah I have. I've done it all before but it's mainly for me to go on the diet to see if my pancreas levels go down. I've always been borderline or really high so I probably know and my doctor know deep down I am one.... I have a letter to say before they could medically diagnose me due to my mum and all the trouble I've had before x x

OP posts:
FlapJackered · 08/10/2018 15:16

@Delilah7 sorry if you've said further up but have you had a blood test for coeliac? I suspect I may be too as I have a really bad reaction to gluten so I have been gluten free for a while, however because I am on a gluten free diet my blood test came back negative. So if you are having a blood test I would wait to give it up until the day you have it.

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 13:32

@summer28 think I'll probably do that if I'm honest. Defo looks like first trimester is the most crucial to be in control of food etc etc.
Yeah just keep an eye on yourself hun! X x

OP posts:
summer28 · 08/10/2018 13:19

@Delilah7 even if you just give it a go whilst you were TTC and in the early stages of your pregnancy when that comes, then if it was going well start reintroducing the food you're missing most. That would at least be something!
And yes you're right, I've had a normal cycle I the middle of the MC and now, but have had loads of unusual symptoms this time that have felt different. So just holding out as long as I can.... I don't know why but would rather just be feeling a bit more sure by the time I'd do it I think! X

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 13:07

@summer28 exactly. Most doctors know hardly anything about it if I'm honest. I just think it could now be connected... could be wrong but either way getting me on a gluten free diet could stop lots of other pregnancy complications!

No I think you're doing extremely well! just bare in mind I had miscarried August and my 2nd period was 6 day's late... but that doesn't mean yours is the same! Hold out for as long as possible x x FX for you!

OP posts:
summer28 · 08/10/2018 12:58

@Delilah7 I just think it's such a big and complex condition that of course it's going to affect the process of your body growing another human at some point. It can take such a toll on your body. I've also had a close friend experience four miscarriages in less than a year last year and after three you get referred for tests with a consultant don't you, and a gluten free diet was one of the non medicated options that was recommended to her. I know it's different for each individual woman and what works for her, but i don't think it can do any harm if you feel it could make a difference.

I'm also showing more self control today than I ever have before... so I'm cycle three, MC really early in cycle one...... And AF is currently one day late. But unless the witch that is AF turns up obviously, I'm going to try and hold out on testing until the middle of this week. Am I mental? X

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 12:56

@sunshine1987 problem is I'm not like my mum who has symptoms. I don't have any so it was hard to stick to it haha but I'm going to from now on it the blood tests comes back as positive x

OP posts:
sunshine1987 · 08/10/2018 12:47

@delilah7 I know it’s a pain but worth sticking to a gluten free diet to see if you see the effects on your body too if you’ve tested positive before x

sunshine1987 · 08/10/2018 12:46

@katbecool my temps generally don’t get any higher than 36.40 after ovulation, natural cycles says my average temp in lutheal phase is 36.29 where “norm” is 36.58. I had read that before ovulation the norm should be 36.10 and above and less than that could indicate thyroid issues which is why I thought best to just ask as mine is averaging 35.99 x

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 12:32

@summer28 when you have coeliacs in the family you know what you're talking about 😂 I hadn't even thought of it until after I looked it up! I think after this month of gluten free depending on what the bloods say again after etc I will then speak to her about if I fall pregnant and what vitamins should I take more of etc x x
