@FlapJackered are you feeling nauseous before ovulation or after? If after, increased progesterone can make you feel like that. I mainly get the insane hunger all the time. Half the time DH thinks that I'm joking that I am hungry half an hour after a large meal. Not joking though 😂🤣😂

FlapJackered · 09/10/2018 13:57

@Delilah7 @cupcakesandglitter thanks guys, trying not to think too much into it at the moment will see what the doc says next week. I am seeing a temp rise each month so I am pretty sure I am ovulating and so I think it is not causing massive problems. I have been feeling quite nauseous recently though and wonder if that is why. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Delilah7 · 09/10/2018 13:11

@FlapJackered at least you know now hun. Try not to look things up etc etc as I'd do that. Like @cupcakesandglitter said if they're not worried try. It to be either. Love to you xx

@FlapJackered hopefully the GP will be able to help and tell you more about it. If they aren't worried though try not to worry yourself over it xx

cupcakesandglitter · 09/10/2018 12:12

So sorry @RanchoRelaxo xx

FlapJackered · 09/10/2018 11:39

Thanks @Delilah7 .

Scan came back and showed womb and left ovary fine, but right ovary has a whacking great 6cm cyst on it. Sonogrpher said it shouldn't be anything to worry about and that they will check it again in a year but I can't help feeling a bit concerned that I have this thing there that shouldn't be there. 😕 i have got a docs appointment in a week so hopefully that will shed some more light on it.

Rachael321 · 09/10/2018 10:49

@EssJayyCee I get that too. It like they seem more prominent than ever before. They're everywhere you look and you caant help but look at them and then hate yourself cause it hurts the more you look!

@delilah7 @mrsof20118 thanks

ValidUser · 09/10/2018 09:45

@RanchoRelaxo I'm so sorry. X

Delilah7 · 09/10/2018 06:25

@Whowouldhavethoughtit no I haven't Hun. They sent me a hospital letter after going with my mum to say they could medically diagnose me because of her! My blood tests have always been pretty high for it I think. Very strange isn't it?! Never heard of silent coeliac... might have to look it up.

@Rachael321 welcome xxx

@FlapJackered I get why you're scared. Be positive xxx

@EssJayyCee I totally get that :( you're not alone in Those thoughts zzz

OP posts:
BabySquid · 09/10/2018 06:20

@EssJayyCee try not to think of it like that, just think about how long they must have waited for their little bundle. As we're aware, everyone has a backstory which they don't want anyone to know about so it may well have taken them two years to get it, who knows. But also think how happy you'll be when you get yours.
What cycle are you on now?

EssJayyCee · 08/10/2018 22:59

Ugh, I feel so down tonight.

Everyone around me is either pregnant or with new borns or getting engaged and I'm sat here like:
"When will it be my turn for these exciting life milestones?" It's getting me down. I feel like crap tonight. End of AF hormones or genuinely sad. Either way I'm not in a good mood right now. I just want to cry. Sad

mrsof20118 · 08/10/2018 22:41

Welcome @Rachael321

mrsof20118 · 08/10/2018 22:40

So sorry @RanchoRelaxo

KatBeCool · 08/10/2018 22:28

@FlapJackered saggy bottom pjs won't get you very far haha.

@RanchoRelaxo so sad! But as my Dr said, it showed that you're capable of getting pregnant, so that's encouraging and means you can do it again!

Whowouldhavethoughtit · 08/10/2018 21:22

@delilah7 fellow coeliac here! I got diagnosed in January. Have you had an endoscopy? Specialists say you cannot get golden seal of approval without it but I went gluten free before seeing the specialist. They did a second blood test and mine had dropped enough to say I have it (they wanted me to eat gluten for 6 weeks before having the endoscopy and I flat out refused....Because I would 100% shit my pants if I did!)
Have you looked at silent coeliac? It's where you have no outward symptoms when you eat gluten but it still causes severe damage inside. Definitely a huge reason as to why you struggled first time around. We wanted to try earlier this year but knowing what I knew I wanted to wait till I had a good few months of a gluten free diet before we did. If i accidentally eat gluten which has happened a few times it makes my period really late. So now we are trying I am being really really careful.
I really hope it helps you. I felt like a new woman going gluten free but if you don't have outward symptoms you might not notice but it will definitely help your fertility if you do have it!

Rachael321 · 08/10/2018 20:47

Evening all...
Mind if I join you all? Been hovering about the waiting to ttc post and I'm inbetween that one and this one... I think
A bit about me... started ttc last November and got my bfp in July and unfortunately had a MC at 7 weeks at the beginning of August. Me and OH talked about waiting for a we while as I'm looking for a new job. But we are both struggling with waiting!! So stopped being careful from this week and seeing what happens. No pressure/temps/opks for now so just letting things happen and then come April we will start properly trying

Not sure whether to count this as cycle 12 of trying or back to cycle 1 as we only had 6 weeks of not trying after MC!

Hope that makes sense Blush

MrsC87 · 08/10/2018 20:40

So sorry to hear that @RanchoRelaxo 💕 @Crossfitgirl I ditched the OPK's this last cycle but have decided I'm going back to them. We attempted to dtd every other day but our lives just get in the way- stressful jobs where we finish late and then end up being super tired!!
However not using OPK's definitely made me more relaxed, I just think I missed the window not knowing when I ovulated this cycle x

FlapJackered · 08/10/2018 20:35

@RanchoRelaxo oh no, I am so so sorry. I hope you're ok and have support. We are here for you whenever you need us.

@Crossfitgirl well done on going opk free. I may do the same next cycle if they mess up for me again.
Ooo sexy pj time! I need to invest in sexier clothes, my pjs are all t-shirt and baggy bottom combos, doesn't scream rip me off!

Actually really nervous about the scan, my sis has bad endometriosis so I just hope there is nothing nasty hiding away there.

sunshine1987 · 08/10/2018 20:05

So sorry @ranchorelaxo xx

FivexFive · 08/10/2018 19:59

@RanchoRelaxo, so sorry sweetheart. Take care of you and like Delilah7 says, we're here if you need us xxx

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 19:53

@Crossfitgirl @cupcakesandglitter I'm with the yay to no OPKS but I'm not start temping yet either.
One DTD under my belt. Would tonight but I seem to have been bitten FUCKING EVERYWHERE. so do not feel sexy at all 😂😂

I wouldn't know half as much if it wasn't for my mum! X x

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 19:51

@MrsC87 you too lovely x x

OP posts:
Crossfitgirl · 08/10/2018 19:51

@cupcakesandglitter I'm going to do nothing but temp this month, yay for no OPKs and less stress!

@flapjackered yes I went this morning, AF came properly Saturday. Good luck for your scan! Prepare yourself for needing to pee VERY badly! Let us know how it goes :-)
Yay DH enthusiasm! I'm going to initiate after tea and i have put my sexy silk black pjs on so I'll update you later! Still bleeding a tiny bit, but he isn't bothered about that.

Also totally with you on starting OPKs later. As above, I'm gonna try avoid them this month. Eek!

@delilah7 yesss for DTD.

@robync19 love it!

@sunshine1987 fab news about the docs being supportive! It's reassuring when you get taken seriously isn't it. Also, my temp stays around 35.7 to 35.9 for the whole first half of my cycle so I'd probably be dead if 36 was too low! It's good to see your own doc i think!

I've just had my day 3 test today so waiting for my day 21 test in 3 weeks.

I don't know anything about coeliac disease and pregnancy complications, didn't even know it affected it - amazing what you learn on here.

Delilah7 · 08/10/2018 19:51

@RanchoRelaxo I'm so sorry darling. Such a hard thing to go through. Take your time. If you need us we are here. For anything xxx

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 08/10/2018 19:45

Still no AF! Have decided to just presume that not pregnant and DTD every other day anyway. Very frustrating as worried I’ve missed a cycle and won’t ovulate now this month.
I feel your pain MrsC87 I have wasted a fortune this month!
