Hi ladies, unfortunately a few days ago I had some very light pink discharge when I wiped. Doctor sent me for blood tests at the EPAU and they have revealed that my HCG levels are falling so looks like MC no. 2 :-( I should have been 8weeks 1 day today.

MeghanV07 · 01/11/2018 21:50

@Mistymeow I think that's what I need to remember, this is only my 2nd cycle since the Mc so my body is probably still going crazy. I've got ewcm right now! Driving me crazy! I'm going to continue temping and if I can bring myself to, I'll do opk's the cycle after. I read somewhere you need B6 whilst TTC & then B12 helps with iron levels? I took B12 when TTC for DS & it seemed to help, I also took Royal jelly which helps with egg quality, but you need to stop that once you've ovulated.

Wow @Yukka that's amazing! I spoke to someone today who said about acupuncture so really going to look into that & reflexology. I need to do something to help calm me, do you go to classes or do it from home?

Hope everyone else is well ❤️

Yukka · 01/11/2018 19:22

@lilimum5 thanks for updating us it’s good to know you are through that part. I am truly sorry for you both. Rest and take it easy, we’ll be here when you’re ready or need us.

@meghanVO7 my cycles have been a complete mess since last mc 5 months ago only last month and this one seem to nearing normal. My ecwm disappeared too but after acupuncture came right back (like within 30 mins of a well timed session last month, I’m not kidding...). This week I’ve had it on and off since tues and opk was flashing this morning that LH is on the rise. It’s cd 12 so this is a really good sign for normality for me. A weekend of dtd ahead for us.....

I also started hatha yoga on the advice of acupuncturist - highly recommend it for general well-being. Its brought a new empowerment to the notion of “just breath” on the difficult days.

Hope everyone else doing ok?

Xx

Mistymeow · 01/11/2018 15:12

@Lilimum5 thank you for letting us know. So glad it went smoothly and you were able to say goodbye to your little girl. Take care and rest up, I hope you are recovering well. Snuggle up to that lovely dh of yours x

@MeghanV07 try not to worry- I know, easier said than done. But it's completely normal for your cycles to be out of whack after miscarriage. Your hormones are readjusting and settling down after the trauma. It's frustrating that we are given little info on what could happen next following a miscarriage, so I understand the worry. I have had all kinds of random symptoms and unpredictable ovulation, all caused by hormones. I even had ewcm during af! I wanted to reassure you that this is all normal and will take time, but I don't want you to do what I did and get yourself all upset and anxious by thinking there is something wrong with you. Give yourself time. I did find temping very reassuring so I knew I was ovulating and when to expect af x

Out of interest, what does vitamin B6 and B12 do?

Lilimum5 · 01/11/2018 09:54

OK all changed. Thanks for your support. DH also thanks you all for your kind thoughts. He has read all your messages and sends his love to you all also

Lilimum4 · 01/11/2018 09:47

Hello I also just wanted to let you know that I will be changing my member name to lilimum5 now, just incase you think I've disappeared.

MeghanV07 · 01/11/2018 09:30

Sending you so much love @Lilimum4 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lilimum4 · 01/11/2018 09:22

Hello ladies

I wanted to let you all know that it all went to plan yesterday and my beautiful little baby left me last night. I did lose it a little bit when she came (I say she due to a feeling I have) but overall I think I'm handling it better this time than the last few times.
I don't know about you ladies but the dates that I pass my babies isn't remembed as miscarriage day for us we choose to treat it as a birthday.
Thank you all for your support and kind words.
Now I'm going to take a few days to rest this very tired and sore body.
Love and hugs to you all xx

MeghanV07 · 01/11/2018 08:53

Thank you @awakeatnight that's really helpful. I meant to say I am taking 400mg folic acid each day too. I'm not taking a pregnancy multivit no, so I'll get some of those today. I'll try SMEP this month, but worried as I won't be doing opk's will that matter?

I have considered reflexology or acupuncture. I think with those I'm going to give it 3 months from now and if I still haven't fallen pregnant I'll go down that route.

I haven't had any ewcm since my miscarriage 😔 so that's another reason why I'm sure I'm not ovulating at all xxx

awakeatnight · 01/11/2018 07:02

Hi @MeghanV07 sorry to hear about AF. I was wondering about giving up the opk. I think it can give you a bit of a head start on when to dtd especially when your cycle is out of whack but I found that fertility friend usually pins my ovulation on the first +opk any way, and that I see ewcm in the days ahead. If you're doing something like SMEP, you'd likely hit your most fertile days regardless.

Vitamin wise, are you taking a pregnancy multivit? You defo need some folic acid in there. I also take iodine (kelp tablets) - it's prescribed in pregnancy to pregnant mamas in Australia and New Zealand, www.health.govt.nz/our-work/preventative-health-wellness/nutrition/iodine.

I really recommend seeing a reflexologist. Mine has been (expensive but) wonderful. She is a fertility and PCOSs expert and so knowledgable about cycles and fertility related health. I also really recommend Lara Briden on Instagram and her book Th Period Repair Manual to understand your cycle and ways to fix it holistically xx

MeghanV07 · 01/11/2018 06:18

@Yukka @Newbie21 thank you ladies.

AF has fully arrived today. Just worry so much! Going to get some multivitamins, B6 and some more B12 today. Hope that helps this cycle. I want to just get back to normal, whatever that may be!

Does anyone just chart their BBT and not use opk's? I'm not using them as they make me worry too much as I know you can miss he surge very easily & even then a surge doesn't guarantee ovulation.

Hope everyone is okay today xx

Newbie21 · 31/10/2018 21:08

@MeghanV07 I had that for quite a few months after my MC. So confusing and you get your hopes up that it could be implantation (which it could be!) and then AF shows up :-(. Hope your cycle regulates soon.

Yukka · 31/10/2018 21:00

@MeghanVO7 yes it’s hard to know what’s going on after mc as it takes time and there’s everyone is different. I presume you had one period since as you said you were due on in 2 days is that right? If So it’s prob early af starting slowly xx

MeghanV07 · 31/10/2018 20:17

@Yukka It's been brown since yesterday... sometimes red when I wipe but has only just this evening started as red in my panty liner.

I feel like I'm so unaware about how my body should be after my mc, I feel like I was just left to figure it out all myself so I'm questioning everything at the moment 😔. My mc was 8 weeks ago xx

Yukka · 31/10/2018 19:54

@meghanVO7 it can happen especially after mc cycles can be very strange indeed. How long since your mc?

Could also be implantation bleed but that’s a little more rare. Is it red or brown?

MeghanV07 · 31/10/2018 19:20

Thinking of you today @Lilimum4 ❤️

Does anyone have spotting 1-2 days before AF arrives? I'm not self diagnosing myself with low progesterone levels 🤦🏽‍♀️.

Dr google is not my friend today xx

InDreamland · 31/10/2018 17:48

@Lilimum4 Flowers

Laney79 · 31/10/2018 07:41

I hope it goes as well as it can today @Lilimum4 -sending penguin hugs xxx

KnitKitty · 31/10/2018 07:36

Thinking of you today @Lilimum4. Wear some really comfy clothes with you to hospital and bring some nice big fluffy socks and slippers, a good book or something else to occupy you.

I got the chills when I had my medical management, so bring more layers of clothing than you think you need. They will give you painkillers to take home.

Sending you big hugs xxx

Yukka · 30/10/2018 20:35

@meghanvo7 there is a second estrogen surge between ov and af that can cause ecwm again.

@lilimum4 good luck for tomorrow. I haven’t had medical management for mine, last one was 10 weeks and wasn’t very pleasant so you’re probably doing the right thing xx

Coffeist · 30/10/2018 20:32

Sorry @Lilimum4 ! I had MC on similar weeks, although mine started with cramps and then later same day with bleeding (took another 2 days before it all came out). I took a chance to wait few days to see if natural works. Cramps were painful but I was given proper painkillers at hospital - worth having some in case yours starts naturally!

Lilimum4 · 30/10/2018 20:16

Just thought I'd let you lovely ladies know that we decided to give medical management a try. I'm in at 12pm tomorrow. Fingers crossed for me that it goes well xx

Melpops36 · 30/10/2018 20:03

@lilli4mum I’m so very sorry for your loss. No one deserves to go through this. All my love xx

InDreamland · 30/10/2018 17:42

Thanks for replying @MeghanV07 @mistymeow and @Newbie21. It's so weird isn't it. Almost like my body still thinks I'm pregnant when actually it's so much the opposite. Definitely no toilet issues or changed diet. Hate this. I've just not been normal in anything since I got pregnant and miscarried.

@MeghanV07 I'm sorry you're having a hard time. It really is a horrible thing we've all gone and going through.

Everywhere I go it's in my face, someone pregnant ...........I really don't need the reminder of my loss.

MeghanV07 · 30/10/2018 16:45

Hey ladies, has anyone had EWCM before AF before? CD27 & have had a tiny bit of spotting today but loads of EWCM. I wonder if it's my body trying to get into sync after the mc?

So confused xxx
