Hi @lilmrssunshine and welcome! So sorry to hear about your MMC 😪 but good on you for taking control of ttc.

You are pretty much right on the same track as me! I also got my positive OPK on Sunday (cd16) and my temp went up this morning (cd19). Ovulation will hopefully have been Monday or Tuesday for both of us, so the optimal time would be in the 3 or 4 days leading up to ovulation, the day of, and the day after.

I only managed to DTD Saturday and Sunday as my DH is away all week now, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that was enough, but would have liked to have tried the day of and day after too but oh well that's life.

Do you get any other symptoms at all during ovulation that you know of? Some people get ovary pain (I get this) and some people get other symptoms like sore boobs etc.

If you read the book "the sperm meets egg plan" it gives you a great break down of when is best to time sex, but in general any time in the few days around ovulation is good as the sperm generally needs to be up there already waiting for the egg to come out!

Welcome my partner and I are same sex so we can't use this but if one of had a penis we would be using the sperm meets egg plan, I have heard great success from this plan from so many couples. It's very detailed in telling you what days to do what etc. Good luck to you both. Xoxo

@LilMrsSunshine welcome!! I've read Ov can happen anytime between 12-48hours after + OPK, so id say Mon-tues? I'd say BD anytime from last thurs-this wed would've been fine? Xx

I hope it is okay if I jump in on this thread, I also was hoping to get some advice!

A bit about me:
TTC #1
MMC August 2018 at 12 weeks

After my miscarriage I decided I wanted to actively try with my husband and be more intentional about trying to conceive. I am using OPKs and temping for the first time.

I had a difficult time with the digital OPKs, at no point did I get a flashy smiley or solid. However I do think I had a positive cheapie test on Sunday early evening (CD17).

My temp has been consistently around 36.15 degrees, and then finally this morning (Wednesday, CD 20) my temp jumped up to 36.76.

When do you think I actually ovulated? And when would have been the ideal BD times?

Sorry - I feel like such a newbie, I am just confused and trying not to be too anxious.

@sunshine1987 oh really? I wouldn't worry too much I think as long as you get that rise after ovulation and your temps aren't worryingly low I am sure it is fine! Maybe ask the doctor anyway if you're going to ask about the thyroid and see what s/he says (and let me know!)

@flapjackered no I meant the lowest your temperature should be is apparently 36.2 to 36.5 and then should rise up by 0.2 and 0.5 after which seeing everyone’s I’m wondering if that’s correct x

@sunshine1987 really? I would have thought they are fine. When you say base line - do you mean the cover line? Definitely worth checking the thyroid anyway!

@flapjackered thank you! That’s so helpfully, this is mine, says online my temps are too low? Guess it won’t do any harm to check my thyroid

@sunshine1987 here is mine. I am hypothyroid but on medication. To be honest looking at my charts before I got the medication it hasn't changed my temperature.

@MrsR16 I don't know :( I keep running to the loo being certain that I've started AF but it hasn't come at all, and nothing when I wipe either. My CM is slightly tinted but I'm 100% certain I don't have an infection or anything. I'm really scared of being disappointed :( I have backache too but more as if I've pulled it or something? I'm sure I haven't but it's quite sore.

@sunshine1987 I've attached mine but it's actually crap 😂 I have too many anomalies, and barely ever sleep properly. This mornings was crazy because I didn't get a solid three hours of sleep. Sorry! Xx

Can anyone help me, can anyone share their bbt charts? I’ve just read online what the normal baseline temperature should be and I’m way off. Which indicates an issue with your thyroid. I’ve booked a doctors appointment but it’s not for another couple of weeks so just wanted to see if I’m being stupid or there is something wrong

Awww @MrsR16 that's so cute 😭💕 DH was looking at my boobs last night over FaceTime 😂😂😂 they're quite big anyway but I'm pretty sure they've ballooned up? He was super excited not just about the bigger boobs

It does make me sad to think if AF comes he's going to be so disheartened 😩

Goodness, DH is getting excited about the prospect of being a daddy... he's sending me pushchair options! I'm not even pregnant yet! Well, probably not - testing this weekend!

@Crossfitgirl I'm doing almost the same. Once I get positive on the cheapie, which is almost always midday, I use cbd to confirm the peak. Worked so far.
