Stats time;
31 years young
Cycle 4 trying properly but been off the pill for 9 months and charting since then
Newly married 💜

KatBeCool · 15/09/2018 16:53

@FlapJackered are you taking folic acid? I swear it shortened my cycle from 30 days to 24, only one thing that explains it. I'm not thrilled but I know I need to go be taking it.

KatBeCool · 15/09/2018 16:44

Here's me
Age 40
Cycle 5
Married 1 year, together 3
2 dogs 😉

Delilah7 · 15/09/2018 16:13

@Charm23 welcome lovely! I'd say no, but it might make you feel abit more shit and groggy towards the whole TTC. Go easy on yourself being unwell and having that stress aswell as this can make you feel really low. 😘

@Malichick welcome back my dear xx

Hello! Can I join?

I'm 28
Been with DH for 7 years
We're TTC #1
We're on Cycle 7

Was ill last cycle and ill again this cycle - do you think it could affect things?

MrsR16 · 15/09/2018 15:50

@Malichick we're nearly exactly the same! I'm 25, cycle 2 but CD12!

Malichick · 15/09/2018 15:49

Hi Ladies,
Age:25
Cycle 2
CD11
Had a little break off mumsnet but I’m back to get me through the tww once I ovulate :D
Good Luck to us all x

Delilah7 · 15/09/2018 15:45

@ValidUser I'd say you're still in with a chance hun! Not out till she actually turns up!

Got my DTD for the day 😈 managed to distract him by a simple answer to a question 😂

OP posts:
CookieWaffle · 15/09/2018 15:38

@ValidUser lets say in theory you implanted on the average day (9dpo). Had a little bleed from it on 10-11dpo. Takes a few days for hormone levels to appear on tests, so 11-12dpo might give a very faint result. This is all in theory of course :)

Another theory, you implant at 12dpo, don't see any faint lines til 14dpo.

Both are possible, so yes you're not out yet!

ValidUser · 15/09/2018 15:00

Just thinking this through logically.

If implantation can happen from 6-12 dpo (and 9dpo is apparently the most common) and I had a negative FRER at 10dpo, I could still be in?

If implantation is the point at which HCG is produced, I might be?

Don't feel pregnant and had spotting this morning, but dare I hope a small bit?

FivexFive · 15/09/2018 14:44

Oh ok, stat time!
30
Married 6 years, together for 10
Came off the pill around March and started 'proper trying' in August.

Currently waiting to see if AF turns up in the next week or so. Resisting buying tests until this time next week... Because you can't obsessively poas if you have no sticks to pee on :)

FlapJackered · 15/09/2018 14:22

Oh oops was I meant to put my stats again?
Age: 30
Cycle: 4 (of actively ttc)
Cd: 19
Hypothyroid and irregular long cycles make ttc a bag of fun!!

Delilah7 · 15/09/2018 14:19

I better put my stats too:

Age :23
Cycle 4
1 Miscarriage last month ❤️

OP posts:
CookieWaffle · 15/09/2018 13:58

Oh yes, my stats...

Age: 40
Cycle: 6
2 x CPs

FlapJackered · 15/09/2018 13:31

I don't think my DH could manage Dtd everyday, every other day is just about feasible but I find if we do it two nights in a row the second night there is never as much sperm coming out.

Thanks @KatBeCool , I am just surprised I haven't had a static smiley on clearblue as normally I get one. I hope I have ov'd as I don't think I can stand another long cycle 😩
We haven't Dtd as much as we should have annoyingly. It's possible but unlikely. 👎🏻

Beeseeinya · 15/09/2018 13:30

Hello ladies!

Age 36
Cycle 1 (ish, it's a test run so I might not count it!)
10 years with bf and happily unmarried

We are.. possibly reluctant parents, in that neither of us is really super excited by it, probably WAY over thinking it all. But we finally decided to go for it. It all feels very weird and I reckon I am going to need some major moral support so... hi mumsnet!

Not expecting a BFP this month as we only DTD once, and I haven't been OPK testing yet, just a random holiday dalliance ;)

Since holiday we have been really sick with stomach upset, so if there was anything in there I doubt it survived the e-coli poisoning !

Well. I am pleased to meet you all. Good luck :-)

KatBeCool · 15/09/2018 13:21

@MrsC87 I've seen so many things about whether to DTD every day, or every other day, or even less, and I'm yet to find anything definitive. We've been trying everyday around the O. Hubby just had his sperm tested last week but we won't know the results until after I have my lining measured next month. But I'm hoping that since they haven't called screaming in terror, it's ok.

KatBeCool · 15/09/2018 13:15

@FlapJackered responded to you on the old thread before I realized this one is up. According to your chart, it looks like you ovulated so it's possible you just missed the peak poas, and hopefully you've been DTDing. But I'd continue testing and temping anyway, in case the chart is wrong and you're having a late O.

cupcakesandglitter · 15/09/2018 12:28

@Delilah7 ❤️

@RanchoRelaxo If I doubt, whip it out 😂😂😂😂😂😭 Bloody brilliant

RanchoRelaxo · 15/09/2018 12:26

You know what @cupcakesandglitter I think you're right, I'm also cd20 which is my usual ov day (got excited cause I thought it has come early this month) will go fetch DH immediately 😂 if in doubt whip it out ay

Delilah7 · 15/09/2018 12:23

@cupcakesandglitter morning petal ❤️

cupcakesandglitter · 15/09/2018 12:19

Hi ladies!! Good morning 😁❤️

I love how quickly the threads fill up 😭 how is everyone today? X

@RanchoRelaxo it could be possible you're ovulating now? I've read ovulation can happen 12-48hours after your positive OPK? Maybe that's me getting it wrong sorry 😩 I would definitely DTD today just in case!! X

RanchoRelaxo · 15/09/2018 12:09

Right I am supposedly 2dpo today and I've just had a bath and when I got out and had a wee I had like shitloads of ewcm, sometimes I get a little bit after ovulation but this was a lot, has anyone had this? Do you think it's just 'left over' or could I still be poss in the late stages of ovulating? (Got my positive opk wed)

MrsC87 · 15/09/2018 11:45

I think I might invest in some @RanchoRelaxo, I'll try anything at the moment lol x

MrsC87 · 15/09/2018 11:44

Well we try to do it as much as poss within the fertile window @Crossfitgirl but I'm wondering whether days in a row can reduce the quality of sperm?
I think as long as I can do it on the day of positive opk (as didn't manage to do this last month) and day after I'll feel happier this coming month. Life just seems to get in the way sometimes x
