@cupcakesandglitter it's going all over the place hahaha.

@sunshine1987 yes I haven't got another strong one since last Saturday and that weren't completely positive xx

sunshine1987 · 20/09/2018 10:53

@delilah7 have you tried another OPK? x

cupcakesandglitter · 20/09/2018 10:49

@Crossfitgirl I hope you get your positive soon! Are you DTD anyway? X

@Delilah7 bloody hell, I really do feel sorry for your noonie 😂 are you making the most of it? 😏

I had a dream last night I was pregnant, but it wasn't showing up on sticks, just through a blood test 😂 I think I read on here or another thread that it happened so naturally I just HAD to have a dream about it 😭😭😭

Delilah7 · 20/09/2018 10:31

@Crossfitgirl oh babe. All this stress hey!
I woke up this morning with tons of stretchy clear Cm again which is confusing!!

Crossfitgirl · 20/09/2018 09:09

Morning! Yet another flashy smiley today! Cd12, usually ov on cd17 but was certain it'll be sooner this month due to less stress and the flashing smileys coming far sooner than last month.

No sign of ovulation, no pain or anything.
I NEED to get my positive smiley by Saturday at the latest, so we can DTD on the day of ovulation before DH goes away again!!

I have a theory, that I have actually missed ovulation every month so far. before I tracked ovulation, my apps told me my FW was a week early.

Then since tracking with OPKs, we have only actually DTD on the day of the positive or the day after the positive. But if I'd actually ovulated more than a day after the positive OPK, we could have missed it! And we haven't DTD afterwards at all!

What if his spermies don't last that long, and we need to DTD on the day of or day AFTER ov so the egg's already there??

Hmmmm 🤔

Delilah7 · 20/09/2018 06:47

@KatBeCool I'm not, thank gosh. I've given up hahah next time I'll be peeing on a stick is after AF or if she isn't here!

OP posts:
KatBeCool · 20/09/2018 06:41

@Delilah7 hah, you're asking a wrong crowd to stop you. We all need counseling on that topic. As long as you're not peeing on sticks daily, you're still sane 😂

Delilah7 · 20/09/2018 06:30

@KatBeCool @FlapJackered @Crossfitgirl nope she certainly hasn't. Mines normally abit looser for the day after but not three days after 😂😂I'm symptom spotting stop me!!!

@rosti welcome :) xx

KatBeCool · 19/09/2018 23:16

@FlapJackered I'm very sore somehow, especially my legs. Not to add my boobs. I hope you feel better soon!

FlapJackered · 19/09/2018 23:12

@KatBeCool - definitely not patient! Although just been hit with a stinking cold and horrible diarrhoea today 😳 so not the symptoms I was looking for! How about you?
That is great they have put you on thyroid meds as at least you know that won't be a problem now.
I can't believe that about your friend, thank God she didn't listen to them!

@Bettyhop yay!!!! That's such good news 😍

@MrsC87 sorry you have been feeling down, we have all been there. ❤️

@Delilah7 - I had the same today, what is that about?!? 🤷🏼‍♀️💦

KatBeCool · 19/09/2018 23:07

@Crossfitgirl i almost fell off the couch laughing! @Delilah7 are you sure your noonie has not just still got a willy shaped hole? 😂😂😂

Crossfitgirl · 19/09/2018 23:05

Welcome @rosti :-)
I am a fellow PCOS-er, no matter how much I told myself I might struggle to convince and not to expect it to happen straight away, the expectations are still unrealistically high!
Good luck for the start of your journey, it's very exciting!

Xxx

Crossfitgirl · 19/09/2018 22:58

@angelomysterioso this is mine iSnow-Med 1/100th Degree Basal... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B076YY5LYC?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf&tag=mumsnetforum-21

rosti · 19/09/2018 22:58

Hello all!

Age 27, just made the decision with DH to start trying. Very excited but low hopes. Trying to be realistic - PCOS and other health issues.

Crossfitgirl · 19/09/2018 22:56

@angelomysterioso lots of ladies on here are doing SMEP... I only wish I could dream of doing that... We don't have anywhere near enough sex! I did buy the book though to scope out the method 😁
I bought an isnow one off Amazon I'll find the link. Does the job and is accurate.
The beep is really annoying and tinny sounding though... Does anyone have one that doesn't beep/ has a nice sounding beep as an alternative?? I'd be interested!!

@validuser @katbecool @sunshine1987 I was in the same boat last cycle, had a weird period hence my pg test AFTER my period. There's just no certainty with anything is there? Not even AF can pronounce it a bfn!

@delilah7 are you sure your noonie has not just still got a willy shaped hole in it from all the DTD?? Maybe that's why its all whooshing out 😂

To be fair if I have sex i feel wet for like a day or 2, I think it just keeps coming out!

KatBeCool · 19/09/2018 22:50

Also saw the Dr today and got medicine prescribed for my thyroids. Hopefully not for the rest of my life. But it should get the levels down below 2.

KatBeCool · 19/09/2018 22:44

@ValidUser I also have a friend who had pretty heavy IB. And on top of that her pregnancy never showed up on any stick tests, only when blood was drawn. To add to that, the Dr told her sac was empty and suggested a medicated abortion. She refused. She's due to give birth any day now.

AngeloMysterioso · 19/09/2018 21:55

Has anyone tried the sperm-meets-egg plan? Thinking of giving that a go, although it does sound a bit... mechanical. Along the same vein, can anyone recommend a basal thermometer?

ValidUser · 19/09/2018 20:51

Possible. That'd just be too lucky, though. 😂

sunshine1987 · 19/09/2018 20:42

@validuser just wondering as one of my friends had what she thought was a period and turned out to just be heavy implantation bleeding. She only worked it out a few weeks later when she felt awful but she said on hindsight her period was different to normal and only last a day and a bit instead of the four she normally had x

ValidUser · 19/09/2018 20:39

@sunshine1987 tested at 12dpo. Negative! And still bleeding a little.

sunshine1987 · 19/09/2018 20:36

@validuser have you tested? x

Delilah7 · 19/09/2018 20:34

Literally just looked like I've peed myself through my pants. WTF is going on 😂

OP posts:
NeverStopExploring · 19/09/2018 20:25

CD 19 and cm has completely changed which makes me think today is ovulation day (not testing as trying to remain relaxed although that’s gone out th window today!) and the dh is working! He was due to be off tonight but took over time whilst it’s being offered. Don’t even have chocolate or wine in the house Sad
