No symptom spotting for me this month & no testing until AF is due/late! Anyone in a similar place? 🤞🏼

The main symptom for me with dd was actually the lack of pmt symptoms. No sore boobs, grumpyness etc. Then a day before my period was due my boobs all of a sudden inflated massively. I looked at them and it confirmed what I already knew. The pregnancy test was not a shock as my body had told me loud and clear.

Suzie2287 · 15/09/2018 20:21

I think I may have ovulated yesterday so I’m on the TWW! With my son, I had a positive test only a week after ovulation (I couldn’t wait to do a test lol) but I’m going to try and resist this time! This is our first month ttc number 2! Good luck everyone x

Beautifulblue · 15/09/2018 20:19

I have no symptoms here ladies... but then have to be honest I had none with my daughter either until I was past 12 weeks!! Not one! So I don't believe it's a deal breaker if you just feel totally normal! Also believe people do have super early symptoms to though... we're all so different! It's just hard to differentiate between normal PMS symptoms & pregnancy isn't it?! I wish there was just a scanner you could put on your uterus to see what's going on in there! How amazing would it be to watch the conception!!? 😂

And I don't mean normal post Ov / pre AF symptoms that a woman may typically get every month, I mean symptoms that aren't the norm for that given woman. I'm so curious!

rollerskaterdata · 15/09/2018 20:00

Welcome @WishingonaStar77, so sorry to hear of your losses, I really hope you get a sticky bean soon! X

@OneMoreWish @Chocolate89 right?! I've decided it's way too much fun and it's addictive! Yes I may get AF anyway but I'll just try again next month and symptom spot then! I'm only going to be having babies at one stage in my life and then it's over, I've decided I'm going to try to embrace the highs, lows and all aspects of this journey!

Im also really curious about the early cramping? I didn't have this last month and it really is too early for implantation so what is it??!! I know our bodies 'don't know' we're preggo yet but I was reading on another forum (as you do!) and someone mentioned the fertilised egg emitting signals of sorts, that our bodies can pick up on even before implantation?! Surely if it was so cut and dry that's it's impossible to feel anything before implantation, no woman ever would be feeling ANYTHING, let alone cramping, before implantation and yet so many women do and go on to get BFPs! If it's not the egg it's gotta be something...🧐

OneMoreWish · 15/09/2018 19:44

5dpo and I've been getting mild cramps low down on and off for a few days. I'm really confused as if you google there is no chance it's implantation yet and your body doesn't know if pregnant yet.

Why then do lots of women get cramping so early on ( according to google)?

I was way more obsessed when trying for #dc1 so I'm sure I would have noticed this. So I'm thinking it can't be a good or real sign? I wonder why my body is doing it??

I'm symptom spotting when I get chance. Not much during day due to dc1 but once they are in bed I'm googling away haha

Roll on the next week. Thinking will test 12dpo so nearly halfway there...

Chocolate89 · 15/09/2018 19:15

Too right rollerskaterdata!! I am the same, i enjoy the symptom spotting!

8dpo and sooooo tired. Had more creamy cm than would be normal for me today, hoping it's a good sign! Have it in my head that this isn't our month though, just have a feeling! Was going to test at 12dpo but i poas in my sleep last night and i think i broke the seel 😂 so going to start from 10dpo which is Monday🤞🏻🤞🏻

WishingonaStar77 · 15/09/2018 19:00

Hiya all, can I join?

I'm 4 possibly 5dpo. I MC in April then again in July. Been pregnant 3 times now and always got implantation bleed and cramping. Fingers crossed for me and everyone else in this TWW 🤗 xx

rollerskaterdata · 15/09/2018 18:50

@Beautifulblue wonderful explanation blue, thank you! Glad you explained as I was so worried I have an infection 😂

So I'm 5dpo, still cramping almost like AF cramps since 1dpo, ridiculously tired (slept 11 hours last night), stuffy nose this AM and nose of a blood hound apparently (I'm smelling smells no one else can to the point that my mum asked me today if I'm preggo because I can smell everything and she couldn't smell anything, despite also being sensitive to smells). It's extremely unlikely impossible that implantation has even happened yet so who knows what the hell is going on 🤷‍♀️

I've given up trying not to symptom spot, f*ck it! Life is too short and it's all part of the fun! 🤣 my body won't leave me alone anyway!

Beautifulblue · 15/09/2018 14:47

During your period, the blood flow covers your mucus, so you won’t notice any. Days when you’re on your period are unsafe days.

After your period, you usually have a few days without mucus and discharge in your underwear. These are called “dry days,” and they may be safe days if your cycle is long.

Your body makes more mucus when an egg starts to ripen, before ovulation is about to happen. This mucus is usually yellow, white, or cloudy, and it feels sticky or tacky. You may notice it at the opening of your vagina.

Usually, you have the most mucus right before ovulation. It’s clear and it feels slippery — kind of like raw egg whites — and can be stretched between your fingers. These “slippery days” are your fertile (unsafe) days, when you’re the most likely to get pregnant.

After about 4 slippery days, you may suddenly have less mucus and it’ll get cloudy and sticky again, followed by a few more dry days — these are also safe days. Then, your period starts and the cycle repeats.

Hope this helps ladies. I always get some white/cloudy discharge in the days following ovulation!

Creamy discharge comes after you ovulate before you dry up. The whole discharge thing is confusing to me.

JustLikeTheySaid · 15/09/2018 12:36

A big amount of creamy discharge today. Don't understand how as I've definitely ovulated and isn't that meant to be fertile discharge? Oh who bloody knows.

Stormwhale · 15/09/2018 10:32

I don't blame you guys for being on the booze. This ttc malarkey is stressful anyway!

We dtd again last night just in case. Now I'm surely in the tww!

I'm making it worse by watching videos of people announcing their pregnancies and I'm all teary. I just want it so badly.

Mseddy · 14/09/2018 23:01

@beautifulblue I've had gin! Had a big presentation to do at work and needed a little post nerves ahhhhhh haha. I respect the rule following! But I also think we have to live our lives :)

Beautifulblue · 14/09/2018 21:07

Well I've had a few to many 🍷 today... I'm breaking all the rules aren't I? Pahhh.. 1 life!

@Mseddy thanks for the suggestion though hun 😊 x

rollerskaterdata · 14/09/2018 19:07

@Mseddy I don't think so, we haven't DTD for 3 days now 🤷‍♀️

Mseddy · 14/09/2018 17:07

@rollerskaterdata this is also TMI but could it be some left over sperm? Sometimes a day or two after if he's managed to get it right up in there (oh god this is really TMI sorry!) I get a little bit and it looks like you've described. X

rollerskaterdata · 14/09/2018 16:08

@Stormwhale you're probably right, I just hope it's normal because an infection is not something I need right now! If it was I'm guessing thrush but like I said no other symptoms and I hope it stays that way!

I had that last cycle, a random bit of EWCM 3dpo. Still don't know what it was 🤷‍♀️ we DTD just in case but alas it wasn't my month 😔

I have a little boy who's 3 and would love a little girl but I'd be happy either way!

Stormwhale · 14/09/2018 15:49

Not sure on that roller, but I do know it changes through the month so it could be normal, but you wouldn't normally know about it because you haven't checked.

I'm confused now. I was pretty sure I ovulated two days ago, but I now have ewcm! I think we will dtd again tonight just incase, then hopefully we have covered the whole fertile period.

Are any of you hoping for a boy or girl in particular? I would love another girl. Apparently the timing of dtd can determine it because girl swimmers are slow, but last longer and boy swimmers are quick to reach the destination, but die quickly.

rollerskaterdata · 14/09/2018 12:43

@RanchoRelaxo ooo hoping it works for you hun! We were meant to DTD last night as it was meant to be our last night for SMEP but DH was knackered and in bed by 8pm! Oh well, we DTD every other time we were meant to lol!

Ok so TMI alert...but I've been trying to keep an eye on my cervical position to better get to know my body and because it's an additional predictor for ovulation. Felt very SHOW on and before Ov day which is great. So I'm 4dpo today and I checked my cervix. Sorry TMI but when I withdrew my finger from my, ahem, lady parts, I had a bit of creamy, pearly, almost lotiony cervical mucus? Noticed a bit yesterday too, now I'm wondering if I have some sort of infection?! I've never noticed this before (but not really gone looking either!). Gah! I have no other symptoms to suggest an infection but I don't know why I have it when I think I'm normally dry as a bone after ovulation?!

RanchoRelaxo · 14/09/2018 12:31

Thank you rollerskaterdata :) thought it was something like that, I could actually do that this cycle then if I dtd again tonight then skipped a day, brilliant 😀

rollerskaterdata · 14/09/2018 11:03

@RanchoRelaxo we've been doing SMEP the last 2 cycles, link here: spermmeetseggplan.com

Mseddy · 14/09/2018 10:50

@mammabear I don't know why we call it pee on a stick when it's really pee in a pot! Haha, I'm rubbish at it!!

@justliketheysaid that's good to know! I've only been off the pill since July and don't know when I ovulated last month so not sure! Fingers crossed I have enough time either way!

JustLikeTheySaid · 14/09/2018 10:44

Mseddy for most women your DPO will stay the same it is your ovulation date that changes. So my cycle changes from anywhere between 25 and 38 days but I always come on my period at exactly 13DPO. So if you know how long between ovulation and period usually then you can work it out for this month.
