After all that desert sand, we are in serious need of slightly damper place...

This one is a hamam, complete with essential oils and thick Turkish towelling bath sheets. Mosaics on the floors, marble pools. You get the picture. It still needs some decorating though.

We have had a few graduates (OK, quite a few), which is good, but time to dust off the old Hut for those of us who are still barren.

scorpio1 · 12/06/2007 11:33

Oh, i see now! i'm so impatient too and i want to know things yesterday! well i wish you luk, and hopefully we can all be bump buddies and never have to see the hut again! [lovely how it is though]

lissie · 12/06/2007 11:30

its not that, and tbh i was thinking about asking if clomid might help at the next appt, its just im concerned that he may have recieved my day2 results and i wont know til the 16th. (am v impatient)

speaking of which, impatience is dp still trying?

scorpio1 · 12/06/2007 11:28

i'm sure i would feel that way too, lissie. do you not want to take clomid?or maybe you could book another appt to talk it through if you are uneasy? sorry i don't really know much about fertility helpers iykwim?

lissie · 12/06/2007 11:28

plus he hasnt seen me to tell me if there are any probs iykwim

lissie · 12/06/2007 11:26

i had my day 2 bloods the day after our appt with the specialist. in the appt itself he didnt mention clomid at all. im prob being paranoid but i dont trust docs at all any more tbh.

scorpio1 · 12/06/2007 11:24

lissie, there is a reason. i think they are just trying to help you-do you mean that you think they are keeping any ovulation issues a secret from you?Clomid will help you get pg, and thats what we want isnt it i think there is a thread on here about ttc and clomid...

lissie · 12/06/2007 11:21

tbh scorpio, now that the initial euphoria has died down im not holding my breath. keep thinking there must be a reason that the specialist wants to prescribe clomid. and 100mg too, most women start off on 50mg

scorpio1 · 12/06/2007 11:19

Impatience - were you ill or something??what exams are you doing?ive finished mine now, thank god.i too would rather be SO ill than barren too.....

think i have come down with a cold today; on top of the fact we have NO money at the mo' and that dps job has f**d up and now he is doing little bits for the next month [arrgghh],im not pg, etc etc. i love my life for myself....

lissie-great news on hsg btw...just need to get all duffed up now!

lissie · 12/06/2007 11:18

i swear that if i ever get pg again i will cherish every retch!

scorpio1 · 12/06/2007 11:16

yeah ome on lissie....you too impatience!

Impatience · 12/06/2007 11:16

Obviously what you need to do is sign up to a life-long relationship with a person you've only just met. Worked with your friend ...

I'm sticking at CD6. I can't fool myself that that wasn't my period any more. I don't know why my temp was still up. Perhaps because it has been so blooming hot lately? That would be an embarrassingly stupid reason. Ho hum. at least I won't be spewing for morning sickness in my exams next week.

Pah, like I care. I'd rather being spewing than barren.

b*

lissie · 12/06/2007 11:15

lol scorpio, we should just go out and get wasted, f*ck a stranger etc... guarenteed pg!

impatience, shit, sorry.

scorpio1 · 12/06/2007 11:06

oh thats fine to rant

so are you back to cd1 now or staying at cd fg 6?? im cd10 today and dont give a SHIT anymore. i may just find a new man and get pg in 6 weeks. fancy it??

how long are your cyles?

Impatience · 12/06/2007 11:04

Please tolerate a quick rant from me. I am pissed off. I had a lighter than normal period, and my temps stayed high until finally, today, CD-bloody-6, they finally decided to drop. GRRRRRRRRR. It's bad enough not getting pregnant, without the whole f'ing tease. B f b to it, f body. RAAAAAAAAAAAAGGHHH

thanks

Chocolatedays

Impatience · 12/06/2007 09:45

Oh Chocolatedays, poor you. As you say, you are an expert at holding on to slivers of hope, so cling on in there: It might just work. Just 10 days to go. No sweat

You have my good wishes, and know that you can come here any moan, shout, rant, be utterly self absorbed and/or objectionable as much as you like. We are team chocolatedays, support team xxx

Chocolatedays · 12/06/2007 08:37

I guess until it I get the blood test result on 22nd June there is still a glimmer of hope (let's face it I have been able to muster up hope EVERY month for the last 3 years despite the evidence)
All good wishes, positive vibes, prayers and reiki gratefully received.
Thanks Duchesse, Wishing and anyone else willing to hope aling with me.

My friend had triple success at her third time of IVF, she has triplets!! I wish so bad I was at the point of getting IVF but dh says not until established in the new job quickly heading for 39 years old and scared of never being able to have another! I know how impatience feels, we went on holiday and I cried there was a baby next to us on the flight, then twins at the airport, pregnant women every where I hate them, why can't it be me? Why is it so easy for some people and not for others, it really does suck and I'm also so tired of being down and crying all the time and having dreams of babies and waking up depressed. Your not alone, we all feel this way, it's really tough baby dust to all and myself too;)

duchesse · 11/06/2007 22:57

Oh Chocdays, that's really crap. Sorry to hear that. Are we allowed to hope that they are just late developers, or is it really curtains for them?

Hello Hutmates,
Here's is another self centered me me me post - but if you can't be like this in The Hut - where can you?!

Shit. Damn. Bollocks.

OK (I'm doing IVF for any new comers) - thanks for the good vibes on the eggs - 2 turned into 5 by the time of egg collection - which made us pretty optimistic.
Two fertilised. YAY!
Then ....
Today we went in for embryo transfer - by now they should be 6-8 cells... or even 4. But NO... they had stuck at 2 cells. Hell.

They are back with me - I have cried and cried. The propects are bad. Really bad.
Thanks for reading - I really needed to write about it. Any positove vibes deeply appreciated.
Love
Choc xx
