TTC First Baby Mega Mega Thread!

Finally this morning had a positive ‘O’ day22!! So late this month. But annoyed now, did so much baby dancing last week that this week it’s burnt us both out :( haven’t been at it for 3 days just drained us this month. Husbands gone to work so getting to it tonight & trmw. Want to kick myself sooooooooooo annoyed ahhhh

@flapjackered did you get to DTD on return of OH? My temps have all been higher than last month... all 35.8 ish then up to 36.4 ish after ov... now they are all around 36.2. I wondered if it's cos I'm on hol, but don't know how that would affect it!

I'm enjoying the final full day of holiday now, we've had many a chat about kids, agreed to have more sex, DH still not sure he wants to know about the FW but I did show him a chart with the %chance of conceiving which is still only 33% on day of of, and lower as you get further away. Hoping it's clicked now!
Feeling very positive about this cycle, so much more relaxed!

Cd6 today, and I plan on trying to get as near to SMEP as possible :-)
Bought new sexy underwear and everything!

So it seems like I'm not going to get my magical moving day + BFP. I can feel AF is on her way and a BFN this morning. I just want her to come now so I can drink this weekend, I'm away with all my family so no idea how I would have kept it a secret anyway! Oh well I'm moving into my dream house today, the witch won't get me down 😀. And June babies are the best away 😉

Even though the last week of June and first week of July already includes DH's, Mum's, brother's, nephew's and cousin's birthdays and our wedding anniversary! Might as well throw a baby into the mix I clearly have a think for Cancerians!

@FlapJackered positive OPK can last anywhere from 6 to 48 hours, in extreme lows and highs. I usually get at least 24 hours of positive. So you have time before O :) According to everything I read, it happens 12-36 hours after your first test, granted you detected the surge right away.

@KatBeCool @CookieWaffle I haven't Ov'd yet so wouldn't expect a rise but what is not normal is my temp is quite high already, normally it is down near 35.80 and it's at 36.30 - yet I had a positive opk this morn, I would expect more of a dip right now? Hmmm 🤷🏼‍♀️🧐

Sure @KatBeCool sometimes. I was more responding to Flap concerned about not seeing a rise. Doesn't usually rise til a day after opk bfp.

@CookieWaffle if you're lucky, you may get a temperature dip just before ovulation, I did have one last month, it was pretty significant and noticeable. But most of the time it doesn't happen.

Yep @mrsof20118, it can feel a bit like there's only one of us putting the effort into the TTC journey sometimes 😔 Is your DP the type who would like to know when the FW is or is he the opposite? It's so variable 🙄 Some guys embrace that information and others hate the pressure...

Other too tired to dtd tonight. As I can't be sure I ovulated this week wanted to keep at it to give us the best shot. Then he's working nights so won't see him much until middle of next week. Men!

Temps only tell you if you have ovulated. Your temp won't go up until after your positive OPK becomes negative.

So I think we may have found a house. Now just arguing about which one it is

@KatBeCool I think I am at the same point as you! I had a positive opk today but my temp was 36.30 this morning which is my cover line temp. Who knows what is going on! 🤷🏼‍♀️

@FlapJackered my temps always look like a rollercoaster. But last month I could at least see a clear definition between before and after O with a nice dip the day before the O. This month it's a puzzle. I'm either ovulating today or tomorrow, there hasn't been a sudden dip yet but according to OPK, it's time. Temps are helpful but poas is much more accurate.

@stormtrooperjulian I think I'm going to wait until Sunday (dh Birthday) or see if AF hits me first...I've got really bad Diarrhoea now (sorry for tmi) and I do get this before AF so it could be she's on her way after all. Only time will tell!

I’m CD6 now and waiting for my fertile week to start. It’s so frustrating that there’s only 1 week a month where you can actually do something productive towards ttc and the rest of the time it’s just waiting. I told DH that next week I should be heading toward ov again and he said ‘again? already?’ 🙄 yes dear once a month 😂😂

@FlapJackered first in 2 years and hopefully last ever! (Last if I pass - 40% of candidates pass, but apparently being a woman and having English as a first language help!)
