I think it'll be darker tomorrow, so maybe test in the morning @cupcakesandglitter but it's definitely on its way to being positive.

I'm good thanks, had a stressful day but now relaxed after a nice bath.
Only 1 more week until AF is due so trying to keep busy!

Ladies I've just done another OPK.. could I have your opinions please? Top one is yesterday, second is lunchtime and third one was just. Sorry it's so blurry but the bottom is the strongest line I've ever got - am I/about to ovulate? I'm going out for dinner but plan on testing when I'm come back too x

Evening ladies, has a stressful day today at work so just checking in!
5dpo and nothing to report other than going to bed at 8.30pm last night and sleeping all the way through! Funny taste gone!

@flapjackered I did them 3 times a day last cycle too, but I did them mid morning, then early afternoon, then evening.
On with some paperwork for the solicitors for our house now, so I'll check out till tomorrow :)

@Delilah7, right then lovely - let's get you a plan formulated 🤓 It's your first time on the OPK's and I don't want you getting any more stressed out than you already have been - it won't be helping your sex drive at all.

Let's say go nuts and test every day this cycle, so you can get used to them and find out where your ovulation date is hiding. Hopefully there'll be a lovely BFP for you at then end of this cycle so you won't need a plan for next month, but if you do need them next month then only use them from a couple of days before when this months data says you ovulated. It'll hopefully tell you exactly the same day as this cycle. Should there be a cycle after that (I don't think there will be for you at all though) then promise me you'll bin the little buggers?! I don't want you ending up like me and driving yourself nuts and piling even more stress on yourself when you've already found out when you normally ovulate.

Most importantly - feel free to tell me to shove the plan 😉 Science geek can get a bit carried away sometimes 😕

@BambiOnIce80 I am definitely over obsessed with opks! 😂 it is because my cycles are so darn irregular if I don't catch a positive opk I haven't got a clue where I am. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks everyone, I’m not really feeling like this is my month for some reason. I’m trying to stay calm and distract myself because I can’t cope with feeling so awful when AF arrives. I felt truly dreadful last month and it’s too much of an emotional rollercoaster, especially if it’s going to take a while to actually conceive.

And apologies for the provocation of tea snorting- I hope it wasn't hot 😯 I can't take the credit for the goblin 🙄 I've been watching an American comedienne on Netflix called Iliza who put the seed in my head with her party goblin. Has anyone watched her sets? She's side splittingly hilarious 😂 Even DP cries laughing! She's getting married this year I think, so I can't wait to hear her thoughts on TTC 😄

I think it's good to have a plan like that to work to @Crossfitgirl - helps take the pressure off and October isn't that far away 👍 AF for cycle 6 will be due for me on the 21st, so as soon as she shows up I'm booking an appointment with the doc for October. DP got slightly carried away/can't count and took himself off for his SA yesterday 😳 At least his results will be back by the time I go to the doc! 😂

@cupcakesandglitter I test 3 times a day, otherwise there is a risk of missing it, I have never had more than one positive per cycle so I think it is necessary. I test first thing, last thing and at around 3pm.

@Crossfitgirl that's a good idea, just try and put ttc out of your mind while you're away.

I just started doing the IC opks today cd10 but not going to start with the clearblue until cd14 this time as I can't stand another 14days of that taunting flashing smiley 😆
I know it's way too early but the temptation to poas is just too much!

@Delilah7 mine started with a barely visible second line that got gradually darker over a couple of days before I got a positive one.

@BambiOnIce80 just reading back, your description of SSP just made me snort my tea! 😂

Hey @Delilah7 I haven't had any luck with OPKs either, I've done one yesterday and today and they have suuuuuper faint lines on them.

How often does everyone test with OPKs? Twice daily? X

@bambionice80 this is now day 1 of cycle 6, but it will be just less than 6 months though by the end as my cycles are much shorter than a month. If no BFP by October I think I'll go. Or maybe even at end of September xx

I was kidding myself after our dire week of sex though.
I think we really need this holiday to recharge and reconnect and just spend time on "us". Everything happens for a reason I think and, after all, it could be our last holiday together as a couple without kids!
Well, at least where I'll be drinking anyway :-)

@Delilah7, I was wondering where you'd got to! LH will always be floating about a bit, so don't read too much into it. That's a straight forward BFN right there - like you say, it needs to be the same or darker to be a BFP. I found (with the same brand) that I'd get nothing, nothing, nothing and then BFP. It's not like it gradually got darker, if you see what I mean. I guess it's called a LH surge for a reason 😄

So sorry your cycles are messing you about @Crossfitgirl 💐 Did you say your next cycle will be cycle 7? If so, I reckon with PCOS you're fully justified heading to the docs. At least you can relax and enjoy some cocktails on your holiday now 🍸🌅

@delilah7 Yeah I got faint lines a couple of days running up to my positive.

DH being supportive as usual and reminding me of the pregnancy test expense I've saved 😂

@Delilah7 yes there is normally a line of some sorts for me sometimes it's v faint other times it is quite strong but it is only positive if it is as strong or stronger than the control line 😘
