Hello ladies, my 2we has just started at due around the 15th anyone else? Second cycle for baby number 2.
My son is 3 and was conceived straight after coming off the pill so the whole "trying" for a baby is new to me! Haven't really got on with the ovulation tests never got a strong second line so presuming it passed before I tested! X

It's funny you say about the Chinese,
What made me want to test the other day was a really fancied chips and gravy. It's not something I'd usually go out of my way to have but couldn't rest till I had some!

Ohhhh this damn window!

I'm gonna log some symptoms made up things in my head Grin

4DPO - snotty nose set in (got over a hell cold 2 weeks ago) still have the snotty nose now.

5DPO - head like an actual siv. called dad at 3 to check he was still collecting daughter from a school as I had an appointment at 4. Got in the car at 3.45 in my PJs to drop partner off at the gym. Partner looking at me sideways like you cannot leave the house like that! Me completely confused as only dropping him off? Appointment well & truly forgotten.

  • vivid dream
  • weird pinching & pulling on one side
  • vile taste in mouth - probably down to the snotty nose!
  • peeing a lot more, I've started counting how many times today though to see if it's my imagination
  • slightly sick (could be anything)

Booked a Chinese restaurant for tea on Saturday? We eat out alllll the time & have never ever booked or eaten in a Chinese before probably just fancy a change as I'm sure you can't be effected this early on haha!
Still got the snotty nose 👎🏽

Anybody else's turned crazy yet? ☺️

Have you checked then after they've dried? I know your not meant to look at them after 5mins but sometimes it's easier to see the colour. Fingers crossed xx

Morning ladies...I also caved 🙈🙈 Did a boots test which came out as bfn but swore could see a shadow, and internet cheapie which showed a bit of a line but think it might be an evap so taking it as BFN. Then I brought the big guns....First response and zilch...nada. So I’m skipping tomorrow based on how many I’ve done today 😂😂😂

Thanks ladies, done another this morning and still extremely faint but I am still only 12dpo period due Saturday and I'm only using internet cheapies. Few people have mentioned their not the best at showing strong lines.
They sound like symptoms to me but depends if their normal to you for this time of the month anyway?

I caved this morning and did a test but it was a BFN as its still a week till i can test. But i have been getting crazy sickness and heartburn and super fatigued so dont know if those are symptoms or not

A line is a line! & it is is early so I would guess it will get darker as the HCG level goes up, think it doubles every 2 days so may only notice a difference in the line every two days? Really happy for you! Smile

I have literally every symptom you can think of can be found on mum's net it's drives you crazy!
Hopefully you'll all get your BFP soon! Mine is still really faint so not completely convinced but I suppose a line is a line right? Confused hoping to see a stronger line tomorrow x

@civicxx that sounds like a good plan. Last cycle I could have sworn I was up duffed. I had all the textbook symptoms but this time round meh 😂😂 I’ve been getting some twinges on my left side and scrolling through mumsnet. It can be a blessing and a curse 😂😂when will you start testing?

I think I might loose my marbles along the way too. Everything is a symptom and being on mums net makes absolutely everything a symptom haha! I love reading people's though & knowing if they were pregnant at the end! I'm tracking my 'symptoms' then atleast if there's a next time I'll know what's real & what's in my head hahaha!

I’m 8dpo today and losing the little marbles I have left with this 2ww 😂😂 planning on testing on Friday so 🤞

Completely different symptoms this time though looking back!

Hi!
This is our first month trying for baby 2 currently in 2WW also, are you going crazy yet too? Grin first daughter was unplanned so trying for a baby all new to us also! We used ovulation tests & were lucky enough to get a positive so fingers crossed!!

I'm also testing on the 15th with first response early test however no matter the outcome will test again on the 16th & if negative will wait for actual period to be late! :) baby dust to everybody!!

Just wondering how your getting on.

Over the weekend I started getting weird vision (I do wear low prescription glasses) but just a bit blury here and there and like a prinking feeling low in my belly.
Then past 2 days I've been so tired to the point my eyes are stinging!
Also, my boobs have been full since ovulation which usually it eases off.
So.. this morning I gave it and peed on the stick! Bfn untill I really tilted it one legged 2 inch from a light and I swear I come see something. I've just done another and it's very paint but definitely there!!
Hoping it sticks Halo xx

We also did smep plan but was so annoyed as the day after positive ovulation stick hubby was away so didn't manage to do it. We did it 3 days leading up to ovulation do hope that's enough.
I have backache at the moment but no other symptoms!
I would like to test after I've missed my period next weekend but I bet end up tearing next Thurs/ Friday!

Oh i use Flo too, it seemed quite accurate for me, I didn't end up getting a positive opk, it was almost positive (if that's a thing) and then by the next day there was nothing at all do presuming I missed it. I had all the other symptoms so positive I ovulated

Think we will use the sperm meets egg method next month if no success. We dtd pretty much every day my fertile week so hoping that wasn't too much Grin

It's such a long wait!

Hehehe here’s to hoping indeed 😉 I’m thinking of holding off until next week as well. I have been using flo to keep a track of Af and ovulation. For some reason the app predicted O on the 1st but have been tracking with ops test and the line progression got extremely dark yesterday. Thank God I have been trying the smep (sperm meets egg plan) which means we’ve been dtd every other day since cycle day 6, should be 8 but we’ve been improvising on the plan 😂😂😂 so hoping I caught the bean whether the app was right or the opks...anyway long story short I’m dying for a break from all the baby dancing 😜 So if I aim to text around next week thurs/Friday I will be 10/11dpo not too far off from you, hope I make that long without POAS!

That's a really good sign! I hard tingling boobs with my first (mainly nipples) that what I keep looking out for!
Mine are a little sore but usually go off a couple of days after ov and their still here so hoping it's a small sign Grin
I'll more than likely test next thursday should be 12 dpo what about you? X

Evening ladies and thank you for such a warm welcome. I am also trying to keep myself occupied this month and desperately trying to distract myself. I had tingling sore boobs today (sorry) and the moment I noticed it, I had to give myself a good shake 😂😂 when are you both thinking of testing?
