@delilah7 how’s your dad today?

I’m 6/7 dpo today and woke up in the night with sharp stabbing feelings around my uterus / lower abdomen that lasted a few seconds. Was a bit odd!

@amber28 I have never heard of that but it's interesting to hear what docs can do, and what must be done before referring on. A lot of people have said docs won't do anything before 1 year unless you are 35+ so I'm surprised they are doing that!

Good luck though, it sounds a bit scary but at least it will give you an idea if something is up or not.

Hi @civicxxx a lot of people say the clear blue digital is the best, but they are the most expensive! I've used internet cheapies but the CBD was right and they were wrong this month so may stick to the clear blue.

@delilah7 it's awful when things happen to your parents isn't it, I think I worry more the older I get! I don't know what I'd do without mine.

Welcome @itinkthereforeima! My boobs get really sore around and after ovulation, I swear our bodies do it to tease us!! Good luck!

What's everyone upto this weekend?
I'm currently googling if you can get pg from sex 4 days before ovulation!

I also have a bit of a problem down there... TMI but I think it's an infection 😥 it started the day of ov, so I think even if DH had initiated DTD I don't think I'd have been able to, i had wanted to try yesterday as i know the day after ov is the last chance, but that put a stop to my thought.

Maybe it's just not to be this month!

Oh delilah7, it's so easy to say about keeping calm but another thing entirely when it's someone so dear. Try and keep strong and it's a positive thing they have found it. At least this way he can get the medical help he needs. Really am thinking of you. 💖xxx

I'm 28, TTC our first, before trying I began drinking blood orange juice (which by the way is delicious!) and taking a covering support vitamin supplement and got done for DH too. Teen finished up the pill packet I was on and didn't start another! Then we got straight to work lol

Last weekend I was producing lots of EWCM, lasted for about 4 days. Now a week later my boobs are feeling a tad heavy and nipples seem a bit larger and tender to touch, I'll be gobsmacked if we did it in one cycle! But trying to avoid getting to excited as I have to wait another week to test, and it could be just hormones fluctuating after coming off the pill. But it's fun to hope! Smile

Morning delilah7 how are you feeling this morning? Hope your dad is ok too. Sending lots of love. R16 I tested again this morning too! Bfn! With all these symptoms I was convinced it would show early! 🙈 turns out I definitely lost my marbles along the way this month! 😂 I suppose 2 more sleeps and I will know for sure. The joys of my body I'm never late! 😂 xxx

@Lov3Rosie @MrsR16 @Malichick remember you're not out till AF honestly I stick by that after getting a BFN a few days before period and then BFP two days after before! Keep strong xxxx

I caved in this morning and tested. It's a BFN.. eek! My tracker says my period is due tomorrow, so I'll just wait and test again in the coming days. Have a great weekend to all lovely ladies here xxx

@delilah7 hope you and your Dad are ok. I know it’s scary but my Mum had heart issues for many years and soon as they got her drugs sorted everything was ok. She’ll be on them for the rest of her life but she’s had no blips or starts of heart attacks since, there’s so much the can do x

Yes I came off the pill in September. I was on the pill for almost 3 years. I thought something was wrong in March/April as mum and sister got pregnant very quickly, something was bugging me and I made the dreaded appointment with the doctor and from there things went on.

HSG is like a dye test down south for us ladies, it's routine to check if all tubes etc are open to allow sperm to travel up without any issues. They have to do this before referring us to the fertility department. ICSI from what I understood from when we saw the dr last week is fertilising an egg and sperm on the outside and then injecting it back into me. It is so difficult to understand medical jargon and remember what was said at the appointment once you leave the room.

Besides me and my DH I haven't been able to discus this with anyone so feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders joining mumsnet. My DH, and I'm sure like many other men, don't want to talk about it. Xx

TTC Baby number 2!

Stopped smoking June 17 and stopped taking the pill January 18. We were originally waiting until next year to start trying but have decided to have one go in September as the dates would work out nicely, if not we will be trying again from January! :)

Im OBSESSED already, my periods are regularish for the day it starts but vary in length of time they last. Other half really wants a boy, we have a child (girl) from my previous relationship and i only really want one more so hes feeling like hes only got one shot at getting a little boy so pressures on with timing as close to ovulation as possible!

Can anybody recommended the best ovulation tests? their seems to be HUNDREDS online!!

Have you been trying since you came off the pill?
I'm so sorry but I don't know what ICSI and HSG is - if it's a route to go down though I'm guessing it's a good thing as it means there is something they can do?

Nervous, scared not sure if I'm doing this right but willing to give it a go...

Stats:

TTC - Baby 1
came off the pill Oct 2017
28yrs old & DH is 32

DH has extremely low sperm count, first results 1million second results 2 million.

Was told we would need to go down the ICSI route most likely. Has anyone had any experience with ICSI. I am absolutly terrified!!! Going for HSG on Wednesday :-(
