@MrsC87 the good thing is it makes you feel like you've done everything possible that month to conceive. AF is due next Saturday....this part is the worst x

ttcat32 · 26/08/2018 08:39

Morning ladies,

So I caved and am currently in the 3 minute wait ......

shelly10 · 26/08/2018 08:34

Ladies, great idea on the mega thread- I've been reading and posting in each and confusing myself too!
Age 31
TTC #1
CD12 - (my fertile window starts today according to my Ovia app)

I had the implant removed mid-June, went on my honeymoon and then had my first AF mid-August, so technically I suppose this is actually cycle 1. Bought Clearblue OPKs yesterday for the first time so will use those from today too.

Fingers crossed for us all 🤞

Delilah7 · 26/08/2018 07:45

@FlapJackered nope will be 4 weeks since MC on Tuesday, got no pains either... they've said however if it turns up later than 6 weeks go doctors especially if I've always been regular which I have. I really don't think I'm pregnant tbh I just think now it's waiting for AF. I feel my BFN was probably right!

FlapJackered · 26/08/2018 07:38

@daisiesandpeonies - 😂 I am the same with DH just before af, the poor man can do nothing right! It sounds like your DH deserves it though, what was he thinking! 😂

@Crossfitgirl - don't apologise! I love your posts! They make such good reading!
I haven't been diagnosed with pcos but do wonder if I have it because of my long erratic cycles. Apparently exercise can help so I am going to test that theory this next cycle to try and shorten mine!

@Delilah7 - has AF turned up for you yet?
I am still waiting. It should arrive today although temp is still high so may not be until tomorrow. Of course it is giving me false hope that the bfn was too early as normally my temp drops on 12dpo and af arrives but there has been one cycle which temp dropped on 13dpo so it probably means nothing!

ChaosMoon · 26/08/2018 07:23

@Crossfitgirl I did Yoga Yin for about a week and a half. It was a bit gentle for my taste so I ended up incorporating a lot of those principles into my normal daily practice. (Yoga with Adriene. Love that woman.)

I was religiously temping for a year before ttc, which made it a lot easier when I started. I loved it though, and I still do it now because it can give you an early warning of mc.

I hope no-one's head's too sore this morning! 😉

Delilah7 · 26/08/2018 07:13

@Bettyhop by my EWCM and ovulation pains exactly same as normal which was about a week or so after my bleeding finished xxx

Crossfitgirl · 26/08/2018 05:40

Ps, I think it's safe to say, my posts always seem to be essays!!!! Apologies in advance 😂😂

So I'm currently sat on the loo, waiting for my OPK to work whilst catching up on all these posts!

It's so great to see all these different stages of the journey and it's really made me smile how everyone is embracing the crazy! From cycle 1 to cycle 8+, from acupuncture to AF comfort food, gin, seabiscuits, syringes, honeymoons, wedding anniversaries, and of course although sad, it is nice to see those of you after MC coming back strong and trying again.

I had plenty gin last night and I got back too late to DTD so feeling a little sad and guilty, but flashing smiley has come back today so I'll see how I feel later. I didn't intend to drink a lot but... I did 😥 hopefully it won't impact too much on my ttc!

I've started temping this month, which I'm finding stressful but along with the OPKs I want the reassurance I'm ovulating as I have PCOS. Does anyone else?

I really like the ideas of reading, acupuncture, and relaxing. There's been lots of talk of meditation/ mindfulness on the other thread which I have yet to implement, but I am going to try and do some fertility yoga this week as I have been sooooo stressed. Anybody seen yoga yin on YouTube?

@kileah18 I would recommend testing at least twice a day, I only got my positive test later in the day last month and it disappeared after a few hours.

@bettyhop I am on a night shift as well the joys lol. That's what we did after our miscarriage.

Bettyhop · 26/08/2018 03:29

@delilah7 I feel our stories are so similar atm. I think I'm about 2 weeks behind you with the mc so going by what you've said about your cycle returning so quickly I'm hoping mine go the same way. How long did it take you to ovulate after you finished bleeding? 🤞 for you girl xxx

Bettyhop · 26/08/2018 03:21

Catching up on the night shift 😴 thank you for making this new thread!
Ttc baby number 1

Would tell you where I am in my cycle but...who knows! Finished bleeding from the mc on Friday, but not sure where that puts me in a cycle. Just going to try and focus on getting back to health this month I think and ttc properly after my next period.
Hope everyone is okay👭❤

cupcakesandglitter · 25/08/2018 23:51

So I've just tried to have a glass, and it's made me have heart burn? Never had this before, only had a couple of sips but it's just not agreeing with me. Not even going to attempt the gin 😂 hope everyone's enjoying their Saturday! XX

cupcakesandglitter · 25/08/2018 23:14

@Kileah18 sorry, I have no positive experience with OPKs! But are you temping? X

Kileah18 · 25/08/2018 22:47

I’m on honeymoon at the moment and have been having a few drinks each night 😬 no idea when I ovulated this month flo app was soo wrong 🤪
Had the clear blue ovulation tests and must of missed it! So need to test every day.
What tests do you ladies recommend? X

cupcakesandglitter · 25/08/2018 22:27

@Delilah7 @BambiOnIce80 @PinguPengo @ValidUser bottoms up girls, I'm rewarding myself tonight 😂 (frantically Googles if alcohol helps with AF pains) enjoy!! Here's to the next cycle 🥂 xx

daisiesandpeonies · 25/08/2018 22:07

OMG this is already massive! Thanks for the add @Crossfitgirl and replying to your past post on the last thread 😂 they usual take houses off Rightmove when the estate agent has seen your mortgage approval paperwork stuff - good luck 🤞🏼
Think most of you know me but if not:
Age 30
Married
TTC #1
Cycle 4
On CD32 - I have really long cycles ranging from 29 to 40 days
I'm 90% certain I'm out as PMS is here with a vengeance: boobs really hurt, bad cramps and thought I was going to physically attack husband this morning when I discovered that he'd drunkenly polished off all of my fave breakfast cereal last night - M&S chocolate crunch is my PMS comfort food 😭

RanchoRelaxo · 25/08/2018 21:46

Thanks Bambi enjoy your gin! And everyone else having a drink tonight 🍺

BambiOnIce80 · 25/08/2018 21:30

I'm impressed with your willpower @RanchoRelaxo! 🙂 I'm hoping AF stays away for you🤞

Fae28 · 25/08/2018 21:19

Hey people

I’m 29
TTC #1
Cycle 8

Trying to be optimistic... i think this month is the month haha 🤞

RanchoRelaxo · 25/08/2018 21:13

Wow this is a busy thread 😂 hi everyone, am sure I will get to grips with new names as the thread goes on 😊 well my period hasn't started yet (I had cramps and usual pre AF symptoms Friday so was sure I was out) although I am only 8dpo, some months af starts at 9dpo so am still not holding out much hope.. feel like I need keep going to the loo to check cause i constantly feel like it's starting 😂

Am actually impressed I haven't poas yet this month! That's a new record for me 😁

Delilah7 · 25/08/2018 20:56

@BambiOnIce80 just trying to put this month out of my head as I'm sure I'm out! Hope you're ok.

Sorry I've been AWOL been at my mum and dad's 39th anniversary dinner!

Hi new people. Hope you've all had an ok TTCing journey or looking forward to starting 😘😘

NeverStopExploring · 25/08/2018 20:54

@MrsR16 yes the wait is awful. I have been lucky with work being stressful the last week or so meaning I haven’t had chance to obsess whilst there but I make up for it at home Blush

@Malichick I was planning on testing after 2nd but then I saw group on had a deal on early tests and ordered a load! Not sure I will be able to wait! When are you going to test?

BambiOnIce80 · 25/08/2018 20:53

Check you out @Delilah7! 😃 I hope you're enjoying it 🍸🥂

ValidUser · 25/08/2018 20:49

@PinguPengo yep! Gave it a miss during tww, and enjoying now.
