@cupcakesandglitter yeah, he talks about it all fine when drunk and I said to him at the weekend your talk about it all and how much you want a baby then, next minute you go funny. If it doesn't happen this time. I'm going to re think how I go about everything Confused

Delilah7 · 28/08/2018 11:29

@cupcakesandglitter thank you lovely 😘

@purplestar9 thanks hunny. I hope you're ok xx

gjchapman · 28/08/2018 11:25

@bambi0ncle80 yeah I was thinking if the role was reversed and I was the man I wouldn't want to know it all as it is a mood killer. ;( and I do put him under a lot of pressure, I try not to but it's hard, we've been trying since December and I see every month as a waste when we don't hit the window! He doesn't feel well at the moment and I get arsey but I really shouldn't! Hmm

purplestar9 · 28/08/2018 11:00

Wow catching up takes a while!

@Crossfitgirl thanks, no AF yet but still early in the day, my temp also hasn't dropped which I believe is a good sign (supposed to drop just before AF?) but I'll keep you posted!

@ttcat32 believe it or not, yes the tests are still hidden!! I almost caved and tried to get DH to tell me where they were yesterday but I didn't!! I'm so proud of myself. So AF due today, if it doesn't show, I get to test tomorrow!

@Delilah7 I'm so sorry you're going through this, I really hope you get to see your GP and get sorted soon. Love to you xxx

cupcakesandglitter · 28/08/2018 10:57

@Delilah7 you're not dampening anything at all - everyone is here to support you :) try and make time today to sort something, you really do need to look after yourself. Stress can also affect your cycles - don't worry about work, focus on getting better x

Delilah7 · 28/08/2018 10:53

@BambiOnIce80 thank you honey. Really means a lot xxx

Delilah7 · 28/08/2018 10:53

@sunshine1987 thank you. You know the feeling when you half want something to be up so you know you're not imagining it :( xxx

BambiOnIce80 · 28/08/2018 10:53

You're not dampening anything @Delilah7 - you're going through a hell of a time and understandably need some support, which is exactly what we're here for 😘

Keep me updated about what the GP reckons is going on lovely.x

sunshine1987 · 28/08/2018 10:50

@Delilah7 you're not dampening anything at all, that's what we're here for. Just you need to look after yourself and work out what's going on xx

Delilah7 · 28/08/2018 10:48

@BambiOnIce80 @sunshine1987 thanks guys I honestly just want this all to be over. I'm so regular so I thought ah I'll ping back into my cycle after 4 weeks and I haven't and that's weird for me. And with no positive on a test I just feel somethings going on. With feeling so unwell and feeling pregnant also there's got to be some infection there. I'm sorry I always dampen this bloody thread 😂😂 x

BambiOnIce80 · 28/08/2018 10:46

@Delilah7, you've been through a hell of a lot this month so it's no wonder you're feeling so awful 😔 You don't know which end is up nor down until AF does (or doesn't!) show up and that would drive me absolutely crazy too. The body can only take so much stress before symptoms become physical, so I really think you need a good once over by the GP to get a handle on why you're being sick. You could have an infection and need antibiotics.x

sunshine1987 · 28/08/2018 10:40

@Delilah7 definitely goto your doctors. Try and ignore what work are saying and then being funny, your health comes first xx

Delilah7 · 28/08/2018 10:40

@BambiOnIce80 it's becoming such a strain on myself :( x

BambiOnIce80 · 28/08/2018 10:38

Totally agree with @cupcakesandglitter @Delilah7 - go get yourself checked out lovely. Better to be safe.x

Delilah7 · 28/08/2018 10:35

@cupcakesandglitter yeah I think I should. I've got the nurse calling. I didn't have time on Thursday or Friday to get one done. My work have been abit funny today. They just think I guess because I've had my miscarriage and the baby is gone that I should be fine but obviously it's been 5 weeks since my last bleed! X

cupcakesandglitter · 28/08/2018 10:34

@Delilah7 do you think you should see the GP Hun and get a blood test, just in case? Somethings causing you to be unwell x

Delilah7 · 28/08/2018 10:27

@cupcakesandglitter with negative tests I doubt it. I've gone home again. Sick at work a lot this morning. I have no idea what's going on 😭😭😭😭 x

cupcakesandglitter · 28/08/2018 10:25

@Delilah7 AF hasn't come for you yet though, there could still be a chance that you are? X

@gjchapman I think @BambiOnIce80 is exactly right - we forget that it's a lot of pressure for them too! Have you had a chat about it, and how it's making you feel? X

Omg @daisiesandpeonies thankyou!! DH thinks I'm mental! I think it's good to be this organised ;) James is a lovely name! Sometimes with dreams, you just know - I had a dream we found our dream house the other night - woke up, drew it out, told DH and I've actually been looking for it 😂 not that we can afford to move anytime soon

ttcat32 · 28/08/2018 10:19

Morning ladies,

Happy Tuesday!

My goodness it really does take a while to catch up here!

@Crossfitgirl agree on the pressure, it's had on them and us! I spoke to DH about it quite in depth and explained that I felt as though we had to make the most of the opportunity and would also feel rejected if he wasn't really into it ( especially as normally have to chase him away!) He explained that because he knew it was FW it was like there was more pressure to finish which is something he's never had before and also that there could be a consequence to his actions now whereas this has never been a problem before. Talking it out did help, but if all else fails get him drunk and grab your hat 😂😂

Attached my pics, ov date was 15th x

@purplestar9 dare I ask if tests are still hidden? 🤞

TTC first baby... mega thread!
daisiesandpeonies · 28/08/2018 09:44

Wow, some of you are DTD loads! I counted and we did it 14 times this cycle - believe me, that is loads for us. My DH initiated about 60% of the time - he's been doing it more as we have more sex. It's difficult to stop it being functional and focus on enjoying it, and not to argue if he doesn't want to. I know the struggle so well!
@Crossfitgirl random thing to say but your manicure is lovely in the photo you posted 😂
@cupcakesandglitter I have baby name lists, a nursery plan, millions of Pinterest boards, picked the hymns for the Christening.... I'm totally nuts like that too so don't worry! It actually helps to make me feel better when I'm down. I had a vivid dream about having a son called James so added the name to the list and it's my favourite name now 😂

BambiOnIce80 · 28/08/2018 08:06

@gjchapman, my ex was a lot like that with not wanting to know about fertile window, etc. He'd get really angry if I tried to broach the subject, which was really weird because normally we would have talked about everything - no subject was off limits except that one! And he would have happily had sex twice a day if he could've had it, but knowing it was fw seemed to cause mega performance anxiety 🤔 There's a whole spectrum out there of how our DP's react to TTC and I think it is quite easy for us to forget how much pressure we're putting on them to perform. It really can't be easy on them...

gjchapman · 28/08/2018 07:45

Sorry everyone I've missed. I can't keep up x

gjchapman · 28/08/2018 07:44

@crossfitgirl I'm struggling with the whole ovulating and making him aware but not wanting to spoil it thing. He agreed this time we would do it every other day for about two weeks to give it a good go, we did it 3 days in a row but not near ovulation, then he felt ill and tired but said to me you've had it 3 days In a row. ;( it's hard to make him understand that doesn't count as much as near ovulation. I can't make him either because I don't want to feel rejected and if he doesn't want to he doesn't want to.

I just feel sad that we will miss a chance again but if I go in to too much detail, he goes funny ;(

Delilah7 · 28/08/2018 07:32

Really feel like somethings going on with my body. I think it thinks it's pregnant.... I know that sounds so strange but I have everything and more when I got my BFP before. Tender boobs, tingling nipples, food adversities, nausea, tired, back ache and jeans hard to get on! I know from the negatives I'm defo not pregnant but this is going to stress me out.

@ChaosMoon glad you're ok xx

ChaosMoon · 28/08/2018 07:28

It really does take a while to catch up now doesn't it! In my last fertile week we DTD on the Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I ovulated on the Sunday. I was actually convinced we hadn't done it enough. Especially as we basically fell asleep on each other on the Saturday! 😂

I got a bit down last month, that I felt like it was not only becoming a chore but that I was bullying him into it. Now I feel too ill to wasn't to do anything and our roles have somewhat reversed. 😊

I hope you're all ok. Xx
