TTC baby number 3 at nearly 40

Hi all, I have just turned 39, and have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, aged 6 and 9. I am in a very happy long term relationship with my partner who is 32. We have just started TTC'ing for a baby. My third, his first. Anyone else in a similar situation?
I believe I should be ovulating today or tomorrow (On CD17 of a 32/33 day cycle) but no positive OPK yet. Worried my eggs have dried up! Wink

@Bloodylegoeverywhere How frustrating to think you're there and then get a temp dip Confused Gawd knows where you are? Keeping everything crossed that your body's gearing up for it in the next few days.
I've been using the opks every day since Friday, but still no smiley face. Predicted ov tomorrow, so am really hoping I'll see one then.

So I've had promising cm and expected to ovulate today but a big temp drop...(Yes I still need a new thermometer) it was slowly rising. All very odd!

Welcome @BettyWoo ! Ha, I have the wonky egg worry too, it doesn't help that I don't seem to get on with these bloody opks. Sigh. I had a chemical pregnancy last month so am Keeping everything crossed for a strong sticky BFP this month xx baby dust to you! Xx

Can I join you ladies? Turned 40 in August, TTC since March. DS 20 and 18, getting a bit stressed that it hasn't happened yet and all my eggs are wonky!

Wow I'm impressed with your will power! So, I'm guessing Friday will be 13/14 DPO for you? Should get a strong line by then. Exciting.
Yep, I splashed out on the clear blue digital ovulation test this month. No smiley face yet. Should be ovulating around cd17/18 so fingers crossed I get the smiley face by then.

Felt really sick most of yesterday and had cramps really low down for a couple of hours last night.

DP came home unexpectedly so that has been a good distraction! I’m trying not to get his hopes up only to disappoint him.

My plan is to do an IC on Friday morning then if it’s +ive I’ll buy a FR to do with DP the next day.

I feel really hopeful but keep reminding myself that it’s our first month ttc and my first month off the pill. It took me a year to conceive DS1 (but I knew nothing about ttc then!)

Have you started with the OPKs yet?

CD16 and still waiting for ov. Sigh. Mind you, am glad it's not today as DP is horrendously hungover and I think BDing may be a stretch for us both today 
How is everyone? @LatteLover12 have you poas'ed this weekend? Xx

Really didn't think could happen so quick! Second month TTC but first we only BD the night I ovulated snd hadn't seen each other two weeks before then!

Probably Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest that would be about 10/11dpo

I got a squinter on an IC with my DS at 9dpo so I know it can happen!

Today I went into the city centre, shopping. I felt like death. Sick, tired and crampy. Far to early for me to POAS but feeling hopeful.

@madamdarkin I'm the same as you, 14 dpo. Tested this afternoon bfn, I'll try again first thing. I feel nauseous on and off but I'm wondering if I'm imagining it! Oh and I don't fancy a Friday night wine which is def not like me ha 😊

Ok ladies! AF due yesterday/today. Am 14 DPO.

Cramps subsided, now it's just the boobs are sore and hot! Heavy feeling in uterus has replaced cramps.

I haven't tested yet! How I've stuck out so far I don't know.

Think tomorrow or Sunday will be d-day....

@LatteLover12 great symptoms!! Sounding really promising. Keep us updated, I'd like a daily symptom report please! I'm on CD13, predicted to ovulate CD18. No ov signs so far, will start with the opks tomorrow.

My first symptom has always been thrush on my tongue, I've never wished for that so much before!
