TTC baby number 3 at nearly 40

Hi all, I have just turned 39, and have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, aged 6 and 9. I am in a very happy long term relationship with my partner who is 32. We have just started TTC'ing for a baby. My third, his first. Anyone else in a similar situation?
I believe I should be ovulating today or tomorrow (On CD17 of a 32/33 day cycle) but no positive OPK yet. Worried my eggs have dried up! Wink

I am 39 conceived #1 in three months (although ended in miscarriage sadly) conceived #2 8 weeks later which ended in my beautifu boy being stillborn (not age related) and conceived #3 three months later (after first proper cycle) and currently 8 weeks pregnant (first scan today!). So proof that the Daily Mail's 'everyone is barren after 35' is a load of nonsense. Yes, egg quality is lower but with good timing and a healthy lifestyle it does happen! Good luck to you all x

Oh I'm sorry. That's annoying. Yes I rang yesterday and need a late appointment because of work so will ring tmrw am and see what they have etc.

I wonder if my line was an indent that the camera picked up, I did one this am and nothing. Hope yours came out darker!

I'll let you know! Got a delivery of 15 cheap pig tests today so I'll keep testing til AF comes 😂

But that's good, I saw on one website that you are best testing after you are due your period. At least you can see it in real life. My squinty was only after you took a picture, still nothing on the test! You never know 're tmrw am!

It's so faint it doesn't really come up in the pics. I'll test again tomorrow but I really don't think I'll get a positive. No AF today so I'm sure she'll turn up tomorrow xx

@Bloodylegoeverywhere Hmm, I could convince myself there's a line on your test.... so frustrating! AF due today and so far nothing. Just took an eBay cheapie pig test and think I've got line eyes.... I can see a faint line but can't get a good pic of it for you girls to study!! I bet it's just my eyes x

I will be 40 on Saturday and section booked for 14th. Caught on month two of not taking the pill. Was advised I was unlikely to be able to have any more children due to fybroid, other cycle related issues hence coming off the pill. Have one child 14. Was not planning on anymore at my age. Just depends on the person I guess. No body had a bigger shock than me to learn I was expecting again. Looking forward to it now. There is always hope and many more people are having babies later in life without complications. Best of luck. X

One pig test. No lines in real life but I'm sure the cameras try to pick something up.....
Line eyes and no lines. Which is fine.... guess I will ring the doctors and speak to them about it.
