TTC baby number 3 at nearly 40

Hi all, I have just turned 39, and have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, aged 6 and 9. I am in a very happy long term relationship with my partner who is 32. We have just started TTC'ing for a baby. My third, his first. Anyone else in a similar situation?
I believe I should be ovulating today or tomorrow (On CD17 of a 32/33 day cycle) but no positive OPK yet. Worried my eggs have dried up! Wink

@Bloodylegoeverywhere Gotta love a symptom spot! I've had all sorts for the past 2 weeks, my google history is psychotic. Today I just googled 'Where is my period?!' like I was going to get a personal answer. Exactly 1 week late today, and another bfn Hmm

I’m now googling articles on how long it might take to ovulate after finishing the pill.

And the Bugaboo Donkey (because I’m convinced I’m going to have twins/triplets/quads 😳)

And how to predict the lottery numbers.

DP is now away again for another fortnight. I miss him so much but I am also now hoping not to ov until CD25!

And this is me chilled out about ttc!!

I've had slight pinching in my right side a couple of times over the last day or so. Love it, googling signs at 2po if I am 2dpo. Very early but what else do I Google GrinHmmGrin at turned up yet @makeawish

@makeawish sometimes we have long cycles for no reason. It might now be delayed because your stressing over it. Confused maybe give it another week and then ring the doctors?

@LatteLover12 GrinGrinlets hope for good news in 2 weeks time then! Fingers crossed! Still no AF here. BDing hasn't bought it on. Really really vivid dreams every night for over a week. But with my other two, I got BFP's before AF was due so I'm not holding out any hope xx

No idea this cycle @bloodylegoeverywhere as it’s my first go off the pill.

I have longer cycles usually (pre pill) & used to ovulate around CD20 so long to wait!

How’s the head today @MakeAWhish? I may have had a glass or two last night too 😁

@LatteLover12 yes, definitely worth a try! Go for it! Still no AF here, cramps feel like AF cramps so I'm sure she's on her way. I'm not sad or disheartened at all I just want her here so we can start trying again next cycle. Was talking to a friend earlier who ended up having ivf due to polycystic ovaries and bought me back down to earth. There's no way I will get disheartened, it's only month 1 if properly ttc. I think it's just my age that puts the pressure on. And yes, I am drunk. Very drunk. Life is good right now! Whoop! Grin

DP is on his way home from working away for a fortnight. I’m on CD10 but there's absolutely no sign of ovulation. Still worth a try though, right? 😂

Temping is going well & I still can’t actually believe I’m doing this again!

Will ring them Monday as there was no female doctors today and I'm off work Monday. Half of me wants to wait and see if it happens again with the mid spotting but yet dtd again wed there was no blood after.
Basically I'm just putting it off but my dh said I should get checked.

No opks as I was obsessed last time numbering and photographing them. Will find my photos later! Have been attempting to take my temperature though...
Enjoy the beer Grin oh to the cramps but it does mean you can start a new cycle ready to try!

That's annoying/unfair. I'd stop testing now and just wait for af. Put on some white jeans and go for a super long walk GrinGrinGrin is the boozy weekend this weekend?
For me God knows, cm is on a mission this month so can't tell if I did ovulate last week or yesterday?
I'm not sure how many cycles we will try for, for number 3.

Sliding in - we are about to start TTC number 4. I am 40 and conceived our 5, 4 and 2 year olds very quickly but aware this may not be the case this time

@39Suzy I'm so, so sorry for your losses. Third time lucky, absolutely!
@Bloodylegoeverywhere A few more squinties but mainly BFN's but still no AF! Argh! 3 days late now (have been 31/32 days every month for 6 months since been off the pill) Am now on CD35. I'm def not preggers as it would have shown on a test by now. Sigh. Just want AF to arrive so we can get in with next month. Any other news? X
