I'll be thinking of you today and keeping everything crossed @hopeful!

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/10/2018 21:17

Try and get some sleep and I hope your morning goes quickly till your appointment. Will be thinking of you x

Lauraliverpool · 24/10/2018 21:13

@Hopeful will be thinking of you tomorrow. Lots of love. Xxx

Hopefulforourrainbow · 24/10/2018 21:11

Yeah my husband will come with me and take the rest of the day off if its bad news. Appointment is 11.15. They didn't have anything earlier. Bleeding seems to have stopped for now. Hopefully it'll stay that way! Thank you all for your support xxx

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/10/2018 20:36

And it really really might hopeful. Sending all the good thoughts to you and wishing for good and reassuring news tomorrow. Is someone going with you?

I really do sympathise. On the way to the hospital after my bleed I was spiralling about the future even though we hadn’t seen anyone or been given bad news, I’d pretty much accepted we’d lost it, again, and had moved on to worrying I’d never get pregnant again! You can’t help what comes up. You’ve taken one hell of a bartering with what you’ve been through and that takes an immense toll.

What time are you being seen? Will keep you in my thoughts.

norbert23 · 24/10/2018 19:57

All fingers crossed for good news tomorrow @Hopefulforourrainbow xxx

Hopefulforourrainbow · 24/10/2018 18:34

Thank you. I'm so worried. We haven't had sex since bfp so i know it's not that. Have been googling like crazy and still peeing on sticks! Dark line this am and yesterday. Still nauseous at times, nipples sore. Have been feeling so good this time round we were really thinking it would work.
Hope you're both doing well

MissPMA · 24/10/2018 18:07

Evening, I’m on holiday and not caught up on all the posts but am sending you lots of positive thoughts @hopeful and a big hug. You must be terrified and the waiting is so hard. I’ll be keeping everything crossed that you have a good scan.

I saw a couple of posts about supplements and not sure if royal jelly was mentioned but both myself and dh took it as it’s supposed to be good for egg and sperm quality, I also drank red raspberry leaf tea, had Manuka honey and took pregnacafe max as that was recommended by the rmc, plus q10 so basically I’ve been spending lots of money at Holland and Barrett and I’ve no idea how much of it helped but it made me feel like I was doing something!

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/10/2018 17:32

Sending you a massive hug hopeful. Such a head fuck.

I had a bleed at about 9 weeks and was convinced it was all over. The shock when the EPU scanned me and it was still in there and moving was so big we didn’t really speak the whole way home.

It might have been because of the big clot they found later on and I haven’t had a thing since. Or it might have been nothing at all.

We’d had a very enthusiastic shag before going out for dinner and it happened a couple of hours later at my friend’s. No pain, just went for a wee and wiped bright red and a 50p clot. Scared the absolute shit out of me tbh. It came and went over night and all the next morning then tailed off to rusty stuff and then brownish cm for a couple of days then stopped.

I really feel for you. I’d never had any bleeding in previous pregnancies, not even with two mmcs so it was a shock.

How’s the rest of you feeling? Good you’ve called in sick. Whatever’s going on in there you have to prioritise looking after yourself. Rest up. Eat well. Sleep when you want to.

Lots of love xxx

Hopefulforourrainbow · 24/10/2018 17:24

Thanks @labmum. It's just like a slightly coloured cm now. I've changed my appointment to tomorrow as I can't wait til Friday. My head is all over the place.

Labmum · 24/10/2018 16:48

@hopeful I've no advice I'm afraid just big hugs!

Hopefulforourrainbow · 24/10/2018 07:34

Yesterday morning bleeding was a tiny amount of light pink when wiping, nothing after that. Got up through the night, nothing again. This morning, it's much more red and there's more of it. Again was just when I wiped though have been lying in bed til now. Not sure if I should wait it out or change scan appointment to tomorrow instead of Friday. Hubby is off work Friday. Why does this keep happening to me 😭

Hopefulforourrainbow · 23/10/2018 17:33

Thanks everyone. I've called in sick for work tonight and tomorrow. Last thing I need just now is a 12.5hr night shift! It's going to be a long couple of days waiting for Friday. Why does this have to be so hard 😭

whiteonesugar · 23/10/2018 11:23

@Hopefulforarainbow

totally understand. I will keep everything crossed for Friday - glad theres not been anymore

Oh @Hopefulforourrainbow -huge hugs. I hope as you say it's just irritation. Let us know how you get on xxx

Hopefulforourrainbow · 23/10/2018 09:36

I had a bad experience with the private scanning place first time round so not keen on going back there. Just been to pee again, no more bleeding and poas just to see and dark line came up almost instantly. Hopefully it just the pessaries irritating my cervix.

whiteonesugar · 23/10/2018 09:12

@hopefulforarainbow - are you able to book a private scan?

I know how scary it is. Sending you lots of love. Remember it might not be anything bad.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 23/10/2018 09:09

Yeah I'm on progesterone and aspirin

Hopefulforourrainbow · 23/10/2018 09:09

Thank you. I've called EPU and they've said they can't scan me until Thurs at earliest as they don't have any slots. Probably easier just keeping Friday's appointment as hubby is off work then. I know it sounds silly but i had been feeling quite positive this time.

Labmum · 23/10/2018 09:06

@hopeful, hugs to you. Can you get into the EPAU sooner for a scan? Are you on progesterone? I had some spotting early on so was advised to use back passage instead.

norbert23 · 23/10/2018 08:58

Oh that's so awful, I wish I could think of something to make it better. Try not to panic yet though. Can you get in touch with a gp and see if they'll book you in at the EPAU to have a scan sooner? In the meantime rest and try to stay calm. Sending a big hug and positive energy your way xxx

Hopefulforourrainbow · 23/10/2018 08:33

Good morning. I'm bleeding lightly this morning 😭 should be 6+5 today. Terrified it's going to be another mc. Just in from night shift. Have been feeling crap most of the night and thought I was going to be sick on way home. Have scan on Friday morning.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 20/10/2018 11:20

You're welcome @norbert23. I hope they help

norbert23 · 20/10/2018 10:25

Laney that sounds like a tough week, it's really hard being saturated by baby news xx
Thank you to the person who posted the link to the vitamins etc blog, I've bought some q10 and have been taking that along with the pro fertility multi vit and evening primrose. I take a calcium/vit d & magnesium one anyway so I'm hoping that's enough to balance out my hormones.
I'm going to bite the bullet and make an appointment with a gp next week, I got a letter from them yesterday confirming a complete miscarriage and offering support of I needed it which was more than I expected. I've been avoiding thinking about it this time and just went back to work, but now it's half term I'm going to give myself a few days to sleep / watch films and eat well. I don't want to try again until I know that things have been checked out, I can't take the worry / disappointment.
Sending good luck to everyone who has a positive xxx
