@AnneLovesGilbert all the stats that I read with dd were that if you made it to 9wks and measuring well with good heartbeat it is almost as good as 12 wks in terms of odds. I found it quite comforting. I hope you do too (although I am aware with my history that may not be super helpful). Although the thing to remember with that is that they think the aspirin got her to 27 wks and that hopefully the addition of lmwh will sort out the random placental failure that we had.
I will be on cyclogest to around 20 wks too, and aspirin and 5mg folic and the lmwh to the end as well (or close to the end).
@Paranormalbouquet hopefully things settle down again for you now. It's such a rollercoaster. I'm assuming your next big milestone is 24wks? I am sure it will feel great to get there (and obviously miles further) but just to be there soon will hopefully help your anxiety.

Oh I’ve been a ball of anxiety to be honest. Constantly wound up and stressed all the time. It’s always horrible seeing blood. I’m trying to accept that I just have a sensitive cervix which will bleed at slightest provocation.

Bean the waiting is the worst part, I hope it passes as quickly as it possibly can for you.

AnneLovesGilbert · 16/08/2018 14:06

Drug free, you lucky thing Para Smile

Grateful as I obviously am for access to loads of free drugs and a consultant who dishes them out like sweets, he told me I'd be on cyclogest to 20 weeks now and fragmin and aspirin to term. Yeesh.

That's good she got back to you. How have you kept your sanity with all the bleeding you've had? I nearly lost it completely with mine and it wasn't even that heavy and I had no pain. How do you maintain your zen?

It's Thursday next week. I woke up this morning realising I'm starting to get attached to the idea of being pregnant and it feels like such a risk. 10 weeks tomorrow and still such a way to go, though thankfully interspersed with milestones that we'll hopefully be able to pass this time. How have you handled that? Any wisdom gratefully received Smile

Of course you do @beanhunter, it's the uncertainty that's the absolute head fuck. Apart from change in boob pain, do you have any other symptoms? I didn't get sore boobs till about 7 weeks this time I don't think and it's come and gone. Have you had any nausea or anything else?

beanhunter · 16/08/2018 13:44

@annelivesgilbert. I trust my rmc consultant. I just wish there was a way of knowing because if it’s over i need to know.

Paranormalbouquet · 16/08/2018 13:41

She did call me back- said if it’s stopped now just to keep and eye on it but if it starts again straight in as they need to check it’s not placental bleeding. I’ve been off aspirin since around 7 weeks as had constant bleeding on it. And obviously was having surgery so they didn’t want my cervix to be too friable for that. Had some clexane after surgery for a few weeks but am now drug free! I’m soaked after walking between buildings but also pleased to see rain! How long until your next scan now Anne?

AnneLovesGilbert · 16/08/2018 12:40

Glad they got back to you quickly @beanhunter, having an email contact is a good idea. How do you feel about the advice? Glad it's stopped for now. You poor thing, awful being away from home with this going on never mind the other side of the world. Hope DH is looking after you.

What's happening with you today @Paranormalbouquet? Did your consultant get back to you? Are you still on aspirin? Hope you're not too worried. Sending sturdy healing thoughts to your cervix Flowers

It's been pouring all day here, I'm over the moon. Even saw some tiny blades of green grass on the way to work.

beanhunter · 16/08/2018 10:32

Thank you both. It’s hard to believe it might not be bad. My sore boobs have completely disappeared.

Paranormalbouquet · 16/08/2018 10:25

I was also told to stop aspirin when bleeding in first trimester. Several of us on the pregnancy thread have had bleeds early on- I had bleeding and spotting from 5+4 to 10 weeks. Kirinm had several very big bleeds and is now almost due. It’s not always bad news. Fingers crossed for you.

Miami81 · 16/08/2018 10:15

@beanhunter you poor love.
So my consultant advice was also to stop aspirin if there was bleeding. Especially as early as you are, she was going to start it back up again once bleeding had settled. This was based on advice she has received from prof Lesley regan who is the queen of RMC as far as I can see.
I know you will just want to get home and see what is going on. Staying positive for you.

Oh bean what conflicting advice. So glad the bleeding has stopped. We're all thinking of you and keeping things crossed that everything is okay 💐 xx

beanhunter · 16/08/2018 09:25

Should be 5+1 today.

beanhunter · 16/08/2018 09:25

No bleeding after 11pm. Feel sick but think that’s lack of sleep rather than a good thing.
So rmc clinic replied to an email and said stop aspirin but continue clexane. Bloods won’t change outcome.

Clinic said only stop aspirin if more bleeding and continue clexane and get bloods done when back in the uk.

Clinic said dont change route or dose of progesterone.

So I’m going to stop the aspirin as that consultant is the one who knows about mc treatment.

I’m scared. And feel a long way from home.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 16/08/2018 09:05

Trying to figure out what to take next cycle. Thinking vitex, b6 and seven seas trying for a baby though read yesterday about soy isoflavones bringing forward ovulation and have just been reading about proceive on holland & Barratt site. Any thoughts?

Labmum · 16/08/2018 07:41

@beanhunter how are you this morning? Has the bleeding settled? Im not sure what to suggest, how far along are you? Awful for you to go through but even worse when you're not on home turf where you know who to contact.
Take care lovely.

Paranormalbouquet · 16/08/2018 07:17

Bean I’m so sorry. I really hope you get an answer soon.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 16/08/2018 06:42

@bean I'm so sorry. Remember we're all here for you. Sending lots of love and hugs

TaylsN · 16/08/2018 00:41

@anne that is such great news! Grin ditto on getting emotional on your behalf.
I'm not on progesterone as they tested it and said it looked great, so they don't feel that was the issue with the mmc. I thought I'd hear the results today, but didn't get a call so hoping that's a good thing. They'll likely call tomorrow.
@munchies I'm 5+4 so definitely early days. I've been feeling a lot of anxiety but not sure if that's just loss related or hormone related or both. This evening I did feel like I was going to throw up during dinner so I'm optimistic that means my hcg is rising even without getting the call to confirm.
@bean I'm so sorry Flowers I hope you can find some medical care.

AnneLovesGilbert · 15/08/2018 22:35

Don’t know what to suggest bean Sad Are you in pain? I so so hope it’s a scare and nothing properly bad. Can you get to a doctor or clinic? Some of the health care is great. Have you got insurance? Sending loads of love to you.

beanhunter · 15/08/2018 21:37

I’m on holiday in South Africa. With husband and daughter. Fly back Friday night.

AnneLovesGilbert · 15/08/2018 21:30

Oh bean Sad How scary and awful, I’m so sorry. Sending you a big gentle hug. Who’s with you? Can you get to a doctor?

We’re all here for you Flowers

beanhunter · 15/08/2018 21:28

Yes. On holiday in South Africa. Proper clots.

Labmum · 15/08/2018 21:24

Munchies89 · 15/08/2018 21:20

beanhunter · 15/08/2018 21:14
