Thanks @Miami

B6 is in a lot of protein rich lean meats and fish. But also in eggs, nuts, seeds and veg (come breads and cereals as well).

Oh I'm not sure @Serena. I usually ovulate somewhere around CD21-23. I think the b6 I bought has beef gelatine in it.

SerenaOverjoyed · 17/08/2018 19:33

Really interested in the B6 as my ovulation is always post day 21 and seems to be getting later.. is it something you don't get much of if you're veggie? i know i'm being lazy and could google

SerenaOverjoyed · 17/08/2018 19:31

Glad its stopped beanhunter. Bleeding on holiday sounds horrendous Flowers

Enjoy your holiday hopeful, I went to Mexico a few years ago and it was absolute heaven.

beanhunter · 17/08/2018 13:19

I’ll call the epau tomorrow. They are a 24/7 as they run as a hyperemesis and gynae assessment unit. Whether they will be interested as the bleeding has stopped I don’t know. I can imagine they may make me wait for my scan next Friday.

AnneLovesGilbert · 17/08/2018 13:18

Thanks @Hopefulforourrainbow, and totally get you on just putting it off and really properly enjoying yourselves and relaxing without ttc hanging over your head. Enjoy!!!!!

Have a cocktail or two for me Smile

Very glad to hear that @beanhunter. Not often puking is worthy of celebration but if it's a good sign then I'm pleased. Hopefully it was just a blip. Can you get seen as soon as you get home to get checked out? Some EPUs are open Saturday and Sunday.

beanhunter · 17/08/2018 12:31

I’m kind of ok. No bleedkng yesterday and was sick in the evening so maybe it’s not all over.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 17/08/2018 12:20

Yeah from my nursing experience that's ok @Anne. Nope not trying at all until we're away. Have been using condoms since we booked the holiday! Seems crazy when we desperately want a baby but I'd hate to miscarry abroad and want to enjoy the all inclusive! Also think it's been good to give ourselves a bit of a break.

Miami81 · 17/08/2018 10:31

Thanks @AnneLovesGilbert very helpful.

I googled it the other day! Didn't have an upset tummy but did my usual up, pills, jab, wee, bum pills then 45 mins later nature called! Loads of white stuff came but it always does so I panicked and apparently it absorbs in about 20/30 mins. I wouldn't worry and do more, I think 2 hours is plenty.

I'm now bum in the morning and fanjo at night as up the latter he said you have to lie down for an hour or two before getting up and I'm not waking up any earlier than I have to for the pred.

Tuesday's not long! It's nearly the weekend, keep busy if you can and then you only have to get through Monday. Got any weekend plans?

Amazing hopeful! I have a week in Norfolk to look forward to so I'm well jel Grin

You must feel relieved about ovulating, are you specifically not trying this time though?

Miami81 · 17/08/2018 10:11

@AnneLovesGilbert and anyone else on the cyclogest up the bum route. This is way TMI but I put mine in at around 8am, have had quite an upset tummy and just been to the loo. I'm wondering should I put more cyclogest in? It's really only been there for 2 hours.........
Next scan is on Tuesday. Shitting it.

We go 2 weeks tomorrow! So excited!

AnneLovesGilbert · 17/08/2018 10:01

TMI away @Hopefulforourrainbow really good news Smile How long till holiday now? I've never been to Mexico but everyone I know who has adored it. Hope you have an amazing time.

How's everyone?

Hope you're okay bean

When's your next scan Miami?

Labmum · 17/08/2018 09:28

I started on CD1 but I don't think it really matters.

Glad OV has arrived @hopeful.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 17/08/2018 08:44

Good morning ladies. Hope you're all well. I gave in and have been using digital opks for past few days. Woke this morning to lots of ewcm (sorry for tmi) and a solid smiley face on opk. Feeling much better after feeling so anxious earlier in week. Vitamin b6 ordered. Think I'm going to skip the vitex and just take the b6. Do I start taking it when it arrives or wait til CD1?

Hopefulforourrainbow · 16/08/2018 21:07

When I took vitex befor I stopped taking it when I got bfp. As did a friend and she's almost 30 weeks now. Proceive is a supplement Holland and Barratt sell

Miami81 · 16/08/2018 20:33

Hey @Hopefulforourrainbow I took vitex a couple of times. Feel I got a really strong ovulation with them.
But you stop taking them once ovulation is confirmed.

OP posts:
AnneLovesGilbert · 16/08/2018 20:25

What’s proceive? Is it a supplement?

Hopefulforourrainbow · 16/08/2018 20:13

Thanks ladies

AnneLovesGilbert · 16/08/2018 20:00

Oh sorry @Hopefulforourrainbow, haven’t ever tried those so can’t help love. I take a veggie gross tasting prenatal/pregnancy vitamin. You’re giving it a rest for a month or so so I reckon give it a go for a cycle if they’re not too pricey and you want to try them and see if they change when you ovulate. Apart from the vitamin they leave out of pregnancy vits (A? K?) they’re not harmful and you’ll wee out anything you don’t need. Sorry can’t help.

Labmum · 16/08/2018 19:31

@hopeful the B6 definitely brought my ovulation forward so might help bring it forward a bit so that FW is while you're away? Worth a try at least. I took 50mg/day. Can't advise on the others though I'm afraid.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 16/08/2018 19:13

Glad to hear the bleeding has stopped @bean. Must be horrible for you being away from home. Hopefully won't be anything to worry about.
Sorry to be a pest, my post seemed to get lost. Anyone tried those vitamins? Or any other recommendations to bring ovulation forward?

AnneLovesGilbert · 16/08/2018 18:14

You both talk absolute sense. I remember last time feeling so buoyed up by a good scan at 8+6 and then finding out at 10+6 we'd lost it the day after and it's plaguing me... Just emailed by midwife referral and wishing I could have left it a while. Oh well.

Do they think the aspirin helped the placenta as far as it could do you mean @Miami81? Hopefully we can continue to sympathise on many more weeks of suppositories Grin I currently feel fat and tired, but when consultant was asking about side effects I did say by getting pregnant I'd realised both were possible! Ha ha.

I paid for a year of the FF app and snuck a look at the weekly facts on there last night. It said a lot of issues which cause mcs can be ruled out after 10 weeks. But because of last time, as of this morning I don't completely believe I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow, if that makes any sense. I know we're very very lucky to have another scan lined up for next week.

So glad people have great support from their medical folk, god it makes a difference. Mine is amazing but a miserable bugger in terms of any optimism. I keep saying I need manageable milestones as 40 weeks is too fucking long and he's insistent he won't relax till a baby is born. While I appreciate that on a level, as he's not going to abandon us at any point, my mental state needs to chunk it up a bit. He said I could feel a bit more relaxed in a week. Though from what I've read there's sod all difference at 11 weeks, other than every day is a good thing.

Holding onto having seen, for the first time, a teeny tiny baby in my belly kicking its feet Smile That's enough for now.

What wonderful news @Paranormalbouquet, thank you. I'll pop over and say congrats!

Paranormalbouquet · 16/08/2018 17:17

I think Miami is right re scan at 9 weeks bring as good as 12 in terms of prognosis. I’m just anxious because of the anatomical issues now. My consultant is great though, I do feel that she’s doing her best now.

Keep had her baby girl. Which is great to see after everything she’s been through. Gives us all hope!
