FMU I think that’s an amazing and incredibly brave thing to do xx

FuckMyUterus · 27/08/2018 16:42

Thank you, I just can't bear the fact that they told me my babys heart is PERFECT, and it'll all be burned away to nothing when it could help someone else's child.

Munchies89 · 27/08/2018 16:41

Such a beautiful and incredible decision you've made Flowers xx

FuckMyUterus · 27/08/2018 16:18

Thank you. Have been speaking to a bereavement midwife and have made the decision that at the next scan, if baby isn't doing too badly I'm going to try and carry to term and donate his or her heart. Their lungs won't be much use, nor will anything else, but there's got to be a poorly baby out there somewhere that needs a heart.

I'd just love to gain something from this pregnancy other than a bit of dust that's no good to anyone but me and my partner.

Munchies89 · 27/08/2018 15:08

Thinking of you @FM xx
Hope things have settled down now @Miami x

Hopefulforourrainbow · 27/08/2018 12:54

It's so frustrating how hard this is. Thinking of you all ❤

Paranormalbouquet · 27/08/2018 12:19

FMU I’m glad you were seen quickly. I’m sorry there were no real answers for you today. Miami have a nice day out, hopefully no more bleeds.

FuckMyUterus · 27/08/2018 11:11

Being monitored, no contractions, and baby's heartbeat is fine. Fetal medicine specialist is not available to scan me, and my partner is at home with my son, so I have refused termination today as I don't want to go through it alone. Going home at 12 if nothing has changed. Thank you so much for the support, it's hugely appreciated.

Miami81 · 27/08/2018 11:03

Oh @FuckMyUterus I'm sorry. Hopefully you get seen quickly and are cared for well. We are with you, giving you strength and holding your hand.
I have just been to the loo and gotten pinky peachy cm type discharge. I am constipated so am hoping that is all that is going on. Going out for the day with my sister for distraction. No pain so hopefully all is well.
Why does it have to be this hard for us? Makes me so mad sometimes.

I’m sorry to hear that FMU, will be thinking of you today xx

@Hopeful I also don’t like buying tests and would rather online it, mainly as recently I seem to be buying them to confirm I’m no longer pregnant and hate the idea of the shop assistant thinking that I’m buying it for an exciting reason

Ruanna81 · 27/08/2018 10:19

I keep meaning to post and hopefully join you all on this thread, but haven't quite worked out what I'm saying yet... But I've been reading everything in the last week or so, and I really just wanted to say I'm so sorry FMU. This must be so horribly hard. I know there's not really anything anyone
can say, but I'm thinking of you and I'm sure lots of others are too. Hope you're well looked after today xx

beanhunter · 27/08/2018 09:44

Think of you FMU xx

FuckMyUterus · 27/08/2018 09:34

Well I've woken this morning to sharp pains in my stomach, and when I went to the toilet, my plug has come away, so going to get dressed and go into triage at the maternity unit :(

Hopefulforourrainbow · 27/08/2018 08:10

It's all very strange. I tested with a cb digital yesterday and it was negative. I've bought a FRER online but it's not due to arrive til Thurs. I should maybe just stop and get one on my wa home from work tonight. I hate buying them in shops in case someone sees me 🙊 I've never wanted my period to start so much in my life before lol. Seems strange when wanting a baby so much. Just not this month! Hope you get your bfp!

MissPMA · 27/08/2018 07:43

That sounds strange @hopeful, have you tested? Fingers crossed AF is about to make herself known. Since yesterday I’ve also been spotting although I’m not due on until Friday or Saturday, I wondered if I could be implantation bleeding but when I’ve had that before it’s been a tiny speck of blood when I’ve wiped whereas this is more. All very confusing!

Hopefulforourrainbow · 27/08/2018 05:44

Good morning ladies. Hope you're all doing ok. I'm still having that strange spotting. That's 7 days of it now. Pinky/brown colour accompanied by AF type cramps and occasional sore boobs. I usually get sore boobs before AF. AF due tomorrow-Thurs ish though a couple of months ago was 5 days late. Really hoping it starts before we go away on Saturday. I've had spotting before but usually when I ovulate and have had implantation bleeding before but it wasn't like this either. Worrying won't be helping I know! The thought of being pregnant on holiday terrifies me especially after last one being ectopic.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 26/08/2018 16:56

Hi @jingle bells I think most of us here have been told we're unlucky! Surely it's about time our luck changed! Sorry you've found yourself here too x

jinglebells123 · 26/08/2018 00:01

Hey there - can I join please?

I've started ttc #2 again following a bit of a break.

I have a 4 year old DD but had 2 mc's prior to her and a third when she was 2 - all within the 5/6 week window.

Been trying on and off for about a year and a half with no luck which is dishearting as previously I always conceived first time but just couldn't stay pregnant, this time, I can't seem to get pregnant.

I'm trying to not get too fixed on it this time - tried using OPK sticks etc last time and it did become a bit of a fixation so just trying to relax, track my cycles using the app and dtd on the right days. Been taking vitamin B tablets as I read somewhere that can help although they were never able to get to the bottom of the cause of my mc's with nothing showing up in the tests - I was told I'd just been unlucky.

I'm 37 later this year and I've had to start thinking about my hard deadline - I have no issue with women in their 40's having kids but I found it knackering at 33 never mind in my 40's!

Lovely to see some positive stories on here :)

Lauraliverpool · 25/08/2018 22:39

Hi @Munchies89 no worries 🙂 it's nice to chat to you girls. Xx

FuckMyUterus · 25/08/2018 22:29

I'm not working at the moment as I got let go shortly after I told work I was pregnant. Although maybe it was a blessing in disguise as I couldn't work at the moment, I'm all over the place.

AnneLovesGilbert · 25/08/2018 18:15

Can you get some time off work to just focus on doing anything and everything to look after and distract yourself? I wish there was anything any of us could say to help. Please keep talking, we’re all here for you x

FuckMyUterus · 25/08/2018 18:09

Thank you anne it's so shit, but just one of those things I suppose. God hate that phrase but it's true.

The repeat scan needs to be a couple of weeks away so that hopefully baby is a little bigger so they can 100% confirm their findings.

AnneLovesGilbert · 25/08/2018 17:57

Alright thank you FMU. I’m so so sorry for what you’re going through Sad

Anyway you can get your repeat scan before 2 weeks?

MissPMA · 25/08/2018 17:49

@fuckmyuterus I’m so sorry that you find yourself here and what a completely shit time this is for you, I can’t begin to imagine how you’re feeling but feel free to say whatever you want here if it helps you.
@munchies that’s positive that the cramps have gone, 9 days must feel like a long time away at the moment. My appointment is on Thursday, I’ve stepped away from google now and trying not overanalyse everything. I think my hubby will be ok with a break, he’s always said it’s my body and he’ll support any decision I make, he’s had an incredibly difficult year and is dealing with ptsd after experiencing something quite horrific so I think that having a break could be good for both of us, at least until our rmc appointment which should be in a couple of months.

FuckMyUterus · 25/08/2018 17:38

I've not been in touch with anyone really. I'll look them up when my head stops spinning and reeling.
anne I know :( found out on Wednesday, 3 months to the day from my BFP. How are you, how's your pregnancy going?
