TTC baby #1 journey

Apparently my sister went to a psychic at the weekend and was told that I would have a baby in the next year and that I shouldn't worry about my fertility, I haven't told her about us trying so this is pretty spooky! Also don't really believe in its pretty spot on. Had a teeny spot of blood yesterday at 7dpo so fx it's implantation and not the start of AF (due Sunday)...

I love that kind of stuff!!! I so hope that it comes true, we will see soon enough! 2 days till test day for me 🤞🏻I'm excited for us all hopefully we will have plenty to discuss in the next few weeks

So my friend had a psychic over last night and I was told I would be pregnant by the end of the year she also warned me it was going to be a big baby

Don't really buy in to that kind of thing but we'll see what comes of it - she told my mum a nice wee story about me and my sister having kids close in age and how they would be best pals

One week till test day for me ..

@Nataliej1984 - I was not so zen the day after as my temp dipped so may have actually ovulated the day after, who knows! Planning to test Thurs 22nd, if AF doesn't get me first... 🤞

I love your positivity @HallowsandHorcruxes I admire you temping, I wish I could but I works shifts and that's an excuse I'm just too lazy to pop the thermometer in at 530am every day 😁

I'm on CD 19 now, OPKs showing negative now so think that's me pretty much out of the fertile window - 2ww begins again!

I'm feeling quite hopeful this cycle, with the supplements, opks, temping, SMEP etc I feel like we couldn't have done anymore so at least if I get a bfn it won't be down to anything I could control. I think I'll feel better about it that way, rather than wondering if we could have tried harder 

Sorry ladies that should have said cycle day 23. I'm now on 30 and no idea when I ovulated ... I'm trying to be more zen like you @Darma87 this is cycle 5 for me and the last 2 were draining. I have come down with a cold from hell today tho so I'm just gonna sit tight and wait for AF as I don't think I will have got a sticky bean with feeling this sick!!

I've not been as strict this time round with the cheap OPKs (testing different time of day, drinking too much water) so I think I've ovulated either yesterday or earlier today as they are now totally negative whereas up to yesterday they were getting darker. Managed to DTD yday and 2 other days in the window so fingers crossed for lucky cycle 7! My stress levels with trying to conceive have been pretty good the last 2 cycles. 1/2 we're ok and 3/4/5 were very mentally draining so hopefully I can keep relatively happy with it taking that bit longer than I'd hoped.

Sorry I've not been around this month, I've been trying to stay away from here for a bit in the hope it would calm my anxieties about this process. It did, but AF still came last week. Oh well, on to cycle #4!

Managing not too bad with the SMEP this cycle but had my positive reading on the OPK today so it's all systems go 

Not sure if it's the supplements or not but feeling better than I have done so keeping positive that it might finally be us this month!

We have a big family gathering around Xmas and there will be 3 new babies this year so really hope we have some luck before then - crossing fingers and toes!

I'm doing fine as well guys, CD2. as per most of the reviews I have had a high reading since day 12 but no peak on the CBFM. I'm ok with it though just making sure we BD every other day, I don't need to track it DH doesn't let me forget, needless to say he's loving the baby making process so far haha.
We missed a few days this weekend though as I got cystitis 🙄 I'm convinced it because of all the Bd'ing throughout the month haha anywho back on track now. I dont have high hopes this month which is kinda like you @MissG2MrsB just do it as and when and try not to think about it... let planning for Christmas distract me for now

@Darma87 - I’m doing okay thanks, AF started last Thursday (bang on time) so I was a bit upset last week but I’m over it now. I’m not tracking or testing anything this month, I really can’t be bothered. Our timing was perfect last cycle and has been the last few cycles but has resulted in nothing so I’m doing the opposite this month and just DTD whenever suits. I hope you are all getting on well x

CD9 for me today, so same as you @HallowsandHorcruxes! Planning to DTD as much as possible between now and a work trip from Sunday, hopefully enough as ovulation should technically be Tuesday if it's a regular month. @MissG2MrsB, @Nataliej1984 and @feverbee - how you getting on?

CD8 for me at the moment.
Thinking about attempting SMEP again -which will mean starting today I guess !
Iv just bought in some supplements to see if that helps anything along 
I know what you guys mean, we are just married in summer and any sign of not feeling 100% gets a 'ooh I bet your pregnant!' response  if only!

@Darma87 so sorry to hear that’s AF confirmed. Onwards and upwards to the next cycle! I’m due later this week, have no symptoms of AF as is the norm, and no signs of implantation/early pregnancy either. @Nataliej1984 I use to cheap OPKs from Amazon too. I tried the clear blue too, but only got a flashing face, never a static one. It turns out I was ovulating later than I expected and I stopped the clear blue too soon. I’ve now received a line on the cheap OPKs for the last 3 cycles between days 17-19 for a 33/34 day cycle. I kept forgetting to test my temperature as soon as I woke up so I’ve never carried that out properly.

I have no idea on O day or luteal so this month should be an education for me if nothing else!

@Nataliej1984 i used cheap OPKs from Amazon combined with temping for the first time this cycle, only way I've been able to confirm ovulation. Tried the clear blue advanced digital for previous 2 months but just got flashing smileys so was never sure, although one of those cycles was 52 days and I probably didn't actually ovulate which likely confused it.
@feverbee - my luteal also seems to be 11 days. I think that's why it's taking a while, hoping the next one is an early implanter!

@Nataliej1984 I don't ovulate until day 16 with an 11 day post luteal phase, so there's definitely still time 😊

Get that hot water bottle out! Onwards and upwards for this cycle for you.. How do you check your ovulating if you don't mind me asking?

It's deffo AF, properly come on now. On to the next cycle! DP has a work trip next month but this short cycle at least means my next fertile window will be before he leaves rather than when he's away so FX!

I'm on CD 13 and I still on low fertility on my clearblue fertility monitor. It's my first month so it's a big test if I'm ovulating or not, I can't temp I've tried that will be a last attempt for me. Just about to test again this morning but not seeing the big o yet.

Let's hope it is implantation spotting 🤞🏻

How's everyone getting on? I've had a tiny bit of spotting today when wiping so think AF is on her way for me. Fingers gets crossed its an implantation bleed but not so sure. Lucky cycle 7 to come?!

@MissG2MrsB Its just impossible to avoid pregnancy rumours if you're a woman and not drinking. I've finished my antibiotics now but have a bit of a cold coming on so quite fancy a total booze free weekend, but feeling the pressure to have a drink just to avoid awkwardness! #verybritishproblems

This could still be your month, but not a bad shout to go see what the doctors recommend. I'm 6 months in now and have even started googling what IVF cycle options are available fromy local CCG, which is 0 as of this year! I'm moving house to an area that offers 1 cycle so hopefully it doesn't come to that...

Darma87, that’s funny because I decided to do sober October last year, just for the sake of it, but because we were married the previous July, I got a few people thinking I was pregnant. Since the Royal baby was announced, I’ve had another couple on my Facebook announce they are also pregnant and they got married earlier this year too, I’ve asked my hubby that if we don’t conceive this month, can he go to the doctor and see what they think about a sperm analysis. He works 12 hour shifts including night shifts and has been working 50+ hours doing over time and I think that might have an impact. He’s not been to the doctor in about 10 years as well 🙈. Just getting a bit fed up, I know the ‘80-90% of couples will conceive in a year’ statistic but what I want to know is, out of the couples who haven’t conceived in 10 months, how many then conceive in the last 2 months? I can’t imagine that statistic is too high.

@MissG2MrsB - looks like we have the same ovulation date! I'm aiming to test 26th Oct, going to try to leave it as late as possible, but let's see if I can!
Ironically I've had to convince friends I'm not actually pregnant following a sober weekend as I'm on antibiotics for a gum infection!
