@Crossfitgirl since I've come off the pill I've had cycles 34 days, 33 days and I think this one will be 35 days if I calculated ovulation correctly. So yeah normal for me apparently. Nope, no other symptoms that I can notice except very faint cramping yesterday morning for an hour or so. But nothing since!

Sorry if you've said but where are you in your cycle?

Delilah7 · 23/08/2018 11:57

@Crossfitgirl we are the same so don't worry girl!

It would of been my midwife appointment tomorrow and 8 weeks :(

Crossfitgirl · 23/08/2018 11:26

@validuser how strange. What are you taking? I think B6 is meant to help with LP. I've just started taking boots own conception support, only since the start of this cycle though. Not sure if they need a while to build up?

Thanks @delilah7 and @flapjackered I'm a bit more excited now! Just one of those things- we are only moving for more space for kids, but not actually having any yet does make TTC so much more real. We've talked about where we will put the nursery etc, where I can go for walks with the pram... so optimistic!

@purplestar9 it sounds like it would have been good timing for implantation, are gour cycles usually that long? any other symptoms?

Delilah7 · 23/08/2018 10:54

@sunshine1987 I did one yesterday evening as I couldn't wait but BFN. So I'm convinced I'll be on soon x

ValidUser · 23/08/2018 10:46

Still no AF and no positive test! Maybe supplements lengthened my luteal phase? Frustrating, but could bode well for next month.

sunshine1987 · 23/08/2018 10:21

@Delilah7 have you done a test to check? Keep wondering how you're getting on x

Delilah7 · 23/08/2018 07:42

@FlapJackered we are all allowed a moan hun.
I'm ok still feel abit sick and tummy's uncomfortable but I'm sure it's just my AF coming x

FlapJackered · 23/08/2018 07:35

Acht sorry for having a moan last night, feeling much better and trying to put it in perspective that we are quite happy as we are and while a baby would be amazing, we don't need it to be happy.

@Crossfitgirl - my sister has just done exactly the same thing, buying a family home before they start ivf. I think it's good as it is positive thinking and as a pp said I am sure in the meantime you will find things to put in those rooms!

@Delilah7 I hope you're feeling better today?

@ValidUser that must be so frustrating! Fingers crossed it is a good sign though. 🤞🏻

@purplestar9 a little. Back at work but don't think I should be. But ah well. My tummy's still uncomfortable so just makes me think it's prolonged AF coming. X

purplestar9 · 23/08/2018 07:18

@FlapJackered I'm sorry you were having a down day, hope you're feeling better today! Enjoy the last few days of your holiday and try not to think about it!

@Crossfitgirl *visualising implantation
I really hope so, but I have no idea if it is/was. Currently 9DPO. I'm gonna say AF is due on Tuesday based on when I think I ovulated so if it's a no show then I'll test Wednesday. If AF does arrive, that will make this a 35 day cycle (currently on CD 31).
That's great news about the house! It would be so nice to own our own house but we're renting for now :)

@ValidUser any news today?

@Delilah7 how are you feeling? Any better?

Delilah7 · 23/08/2018 06:24

@Crossfitgirl hi Hun. Me and OH did this and we have a 4 bedroom with just us in. It's nice knowing we don't have to worry about moving again for a long time. Go for it Hun! Also never had sickness before. Had nausea. If I'm honest I think I'm just under the weather and clutching at straws!

@Angliski thank you xx

cupcakesandglitter · 23/08/2018 01:03

@Crossfitgirl ALL. THE. TIME. It's too stressful being a woman!! The men are just like 'meh' 🤷🏻‍♀️

Crossfitgirl · 22/08/2018 23:56

@validuser very true. Can you think of any reason you may have ov'd late? Stress / exercise etc? Cycles may just vary for no reason, but if it's unusual for you... I have a feeling it could be your month! I can tell you're trying not to get your hopes up but sod it, you're 3 days late!

I'm hoping implantation happens sooner than 10dpo in my cycle as I think my luteal phase is only 9 days!

@cupcakesandglitter thank you! We will definitely fill it with crap until babies come haha. I feel like everything in my life is moving in the right direction, a child would just make it perfect now. It's hard not to worry - what if it never happens, what if like my sister I have 3 failed IVFs and never have kids? Or what if he has impotent sperm? What if we are moving for no reason at all? Are we tempting fate?
I hate being a woman sometimes - far too much worrying! I'm even worried the stress of moving will make me not conceive!

Does anyone else have crazy thoughts like this?

cupcakesandglitter · 22/08/2018 23:43

I'd definitely keep testing every day just in case! I'm not sure how OPKs work but I'm guessing if you had the two days, you may be right in that you ovulated a day later? X

ValidUser · 22/08/2018 23:30

Just thinking here, but I had 2 straight days of positive OPKs. Generally advice is to calculate from first positive, but I could still be 11 dpo and not 12. I could have ovulated as late as 36 hours after either positive.

ValidUser · 22/08/2018 23:26

No worries @Crossfitgirl! Using FRERs, but hypothetically I could have started to implant at 10 dpo and if the HCG was rising slowly it mightn't give a positive yet.

I'm normally 27 days like clockwork. Occasionally early, but never late. Almost on cd 30 now.

I feel like I'm being unrealistic, but I think we all need a bit of hope on this journey.

cupcakesandglitter · 22/08/2018 23:22

@Crossfitgirl oh god no!! Go you, and congrats - hope it all goes well! If we could have afforded to have a bigger house, we definitely would have I'm sure even if we didn't have kids I could still fill the space

And good luck! It counts as your first 'proper' month I suppose x

Crossfitgirl · 22/08/2018 23:09

@flapjackered your time will come! Sunday is not long to wait... What cycle are you on? I think your body is just waiting for the perfect baby. It's not going to settle for any old thing :-) you want a sticky bean that sleeps through the night and never has tantrums! You never know, your holiday may just have been what you needed.
I agree with @cupcakesandglitter - everything happens for a reason.

@validuser what tests are you using? Sounds very promising, are you usually regular? Sorry if you've already said - I've had to read 2 pages to get here!

@delilah7 did you feel sick last time? I hope you feel better soon and if not, that it's for a good reason! If you had similar last time maybe it's a good sign?

@purplestar9 fx for ovulation! It's so hard to know what's real symptoms and what's symptom spotting isn't it! Go with implantation.... visualise... visualise! 😂 when will you test?

@Robync19 those symptoms seem very real pg symptoms! I do get bloated and hard nipples at ov, but not as much before AF. Is it different to normal? When are you testing?

Who else is testing soon? Good luck!!

Welcome to all the new people I haven't said hi to yet!

Sooo.. we just sold our house today and we are going to put an offer in on a 5 bed town house...are we stupid for doing this before kids?? Am I gonna be rattling around with all that space and be depressed at having no babies to fill it with yet?

I'm cd10 and will be going into my fertile week soon, please wish me luck with our first month of "PROPER" trying... I am going to try instigate every other day sex from tomorrow. It's cycle 5, but I'm tempted to say cycle 1... makes me feel better!

MrsR16 · 22/08/2018 22:43

@FlapJackered oh goodness lovely, keep your chin up! It'll happen when it's absolutely right for you. However, I completely get why you're so frustrated! It can't be easy. We're all here for you!

Angliski · 22/08/2018 22:23

@flapjackered big hug to you - it is very tiring wondering and waiting and feeling uncertain

@delilah hope you are feeling better and

@mrsof welcome to our safe space!

No news this end - might test tomorrow eve.

ValidUser · 22/08/2018 22:22

@FlapJackered I hear you!

I'm wanting AF to just get it over with and show up.

Verging on 3 days late but negative tests. 12 dpo.

Hoping your AF stays away. X

cupcakesandglitter · 22/08/2018 22:22

@FlapJackered don't say sorry, it's completely understandable. It's easier said than done, I know, but try and stay positive. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason - your time will come xx

FlapJackered · 22/08/2018 22:19

Feeling sad tonight, I just know I am not pregnant but I just don't want AF to come again and I know she is going to. I am so fed up with getting my hopes up each time, I just feel like I am never going to be pregnant. 😢

Sorry for the rant, just struggling to wait to know until Sunday. It seems so far away.

I'm CD19 my lower abdomen above my pubic bone is rock hard, my nipples are killing me and I have lower back pain. I'm pretty sure it's all in my head or I'm ovulating later than I thought, also super veiny. Help I think I'm been a massive symptom spotter x

ValidUser · 22/08/2018 19:49

@Patapouf (obligatory I am a doctor but this is not medical advice), loads of people seem to get pregnant on keto but keto in pregnancy is controversial and generally not advised.

I'm comfortable doing it until I ovulate but would avoid in 2ww, but it's such a personal decision.
