I'm hoping to wait until AF is due to test. No guarantees, though!

Delilah7 · 12/08/2018 10:03

@MrsM2017 I wouldn't care either just intrigued me that it worked!!

@Patapouf you're not out till AF arrives 😘😘

Patapouf · 12/08/2018 09:54

MrsM it’s awful isn’t it, one of my oldest friends is pregnant and it’s all she wants to talk about. She has no idea we are TTC so it isn’t that she isn’t being tactful, but it’s tough.

Negative FRER this morning, I know it might be too early really to test as AF is due Thursday so I’m not out of the game this cycle yet. I might use cheapies for the rest of the time between now and then to save money on the FRERs!

MrsM2017 · 12/08/2018 09:52

No?! Never heard of the maybe baby app?! Intriguing....although at this point I'd be happy with boy or girl - just any sticky bean will do 😂🙂

Started that crazy symptom spotting now.....ugh. will I never learn!!!?

Delilah7 · 12/08/2018 09:35

@MrsM2017 I completely understand that. A few days after I miscarried my OHs cousin told us she was 15 weeks pregnant. Like you I was happy for her but I just felt so pained and like life was so unfair. We are all here for you. Also DTD that may times in the fertile week is GREAT. I heard 2/3 times a week is good aswell if that's easier. And then more in fertile week I'd say.

Have you ladies heard of this 'maybe baby' app??? Seems to calculate whether you will have a girl or a boy!! A woman celebrity used it as she always wanted girls and has 3 now!!!

@AuntieGeek welcome lovely.

@Crossfitgirl yes it's unfortunate you have to. I was lucky that it all came out naturally but it is hard seeing a negative test after you had a positive one :(.

@sunshine1987 thank you xx

MrsM2017 · 12/08/2018 09:28

Thank you @CrystalBlaze @Crossfitgirl and @sunshine1987 💕 that really puts a perspective on things for me, as you say it can be easy for her at all if she's in a position of thinking she can't keep it. I've just texted her to see if she's ok and letting her know I'm here if she needs to talk x

sunshine1987 · 12/08/2018 09:19

@MrsM2017 hope you're ok. I had the same thing on this journey and it's hard. Completely normal to feel upset about it x

Crossfitgirl · 12/08/2018 08:42

Whoops, that last bit was meant to say take some positive vibes from their conception and make them your own!

Crossfitgirl · 12/08/2018 08:40

@Crystalblaze same here, I have PCOS so was tracking just for my cycle after coming off the pill - then it made sense to find out when I was ovulating too!

This is (or was) cycle 4, but I have just been to the loo and the spotting has progressed into what is almost definitely my period, it's still brown coloured but a lot heavier and I feel bloated and crampy, AF coming a day early 😭😭😭 I was so certain this was my month too! 😭😭😭

@MrsM2017 it's so hard sometimes to smile and be happy for them isnt it? I have seen not one, not two, but FIVE new babies this week. Went to visit 2 of my close friends who gave birth recently, and 3 work colleagues who all went on mat leave at the same time all came in with their babies last week.
Of course I am happy for all of them, but at the same time, there comes a point where you think internally, "f* you and your babies!!!!"

I am sure your friend will understand you might be upset, she may have even wondered whether to tell you or not - she probably feels awkward knowing you're trying too. My sister can't have children after years of trying, and I will feel terrible when I get to tell her I'm pregnant, but I couldn't not tell her. It makes it worse that your friend wasn't trying, it's absolutely sods law, but don't let it make you feel bad - unfortunately for your friend, her situation is not a happy one if she isn't sure she can keep it.

When your time comes, it will be the happiest news in the world - as pregnancy should be 😊

Try to take some positive pregnancy vibes from her,

CrystalBlaze · 12/08/2018 07:21

Oops posted too early!! Meant to say 'about your friend'.

She probably feels awful about it too but don't feel like you can't tell her you're upset, I'm sure she would understand Flowers

CrystalBlaze · 12/08/2018 07:19

Welcome @AuntieGreek! Smile

@MrsM that is really tough about your

AuntieGeek · 12/08/2018 06:25

Been told I should have posted here:
Morning
Age: 43 (in a fortnight)
TTC #1
1st cycle since my mirena was removed on Friday.

Currently no clue which CD it is as basically had no AF for 10 years (bliss!) so can't 'try' until AF established again.

Have no clue if I ovulated whilst I had the mirena; I didn't spot any EWCM at all in the last 10 years but that could mean anything.

Best of luck to those TTC and baby dust for a fabulous end to the month!

MrsM2017 · 12/08/2018 01:13

@Crossfitgirl

We'd been baby dancing 2 or three times during my fertile week (and whenever we felt like it outside of then) but figured giving SMEP a go this time couldnt hurt (just incase). Although got to say that poor hubby and I are absolutely knackered! 😂
I heard that every other day or at least every third day is good of you can manage it but it's easier said than done lol. Cycle 4 is still early days but wishing you lots of luck 💕

I plan on testing the day AF is due if I can wait that long....although I don't have any tests to hand at home so that might help stop me testing too early!

On another note, had a bit of a weepy evening as my best friend (who I've been confiding all my worries about TTC and the fact that it's not happened) has just told me she's pregnant - not planned at all and she already has two children. Of course I'm happy for her if it's what she wants but she's it sure even if she's going to keep it. Took all my strength not to cry Infront of her 😔
Guess I feel a little upset/jealous/that life is unfair at the moment......
Sorry, rant over - hope everyone else is doing ok? x

Patapouf · 11/08/2018 21:41

Oh cool, thanks sunshine that’s more or less the appproach DH and I took this month but I might follow it more carefully if we aren’t successful this cycle.

crystal must be lucky!

Bon voyage flapjackered

CrystalBlaze · 11/08/2018 21:32

@crossfitgirl - no I haven't kept him up to speed with all the ins and outs (excuse the pun Grin) but luckily my positive OPK coincided with us DTD anyway this month. I was tracking as much to get an idea of my cycle after coming off the pill as much as anything but would obviously be thrilled/terrified to get a bfp Smile

How about you? How many cycles have you done?

Crossfitgirl · 11/08/2018 21:14

Awh @delilah7 that must have been heartbreaking. I didn't know you had to retake a test, I can't imagine how hard that must have been. It may be telling you what you already know, but horrible to have to do all the same.
Sending you virtual hugs xxx

Crossfitgirl · 11/08/2018 21:07

@crystalblaze it's nice to have someone else in the same boat - I don't think my DH is that fussed about having a baby immediately and neither was I when we agreed to stop using condoms, but obviously we ladies have all the tracking to do, so it's hard not to think about it all the time!

Are you telling your OH when you're fertile / talking about having sex around that time at all, or are you just trying to keep efforts close to ovulation without him knowing?

Ps yes bird shit is meant to be lucky!!

sunshine1987 · 11/08/2018 20:55

@Delilah7 hope you're ok xx

Delilah7 · 11/08/2018 20:34

@CrystalBlaze I thought I'd be ok but me and OH were abit numb after seeing that. 😔

CrystalBlaze · 11/08/2018 20:17

Oh @Delilah7 I'm sorry lovely, that must have been very tough Flowers

Delilah7 · 11/08/2018 20:12

Had to take my pregnancy test today to make sure the miscarriage was all out. It was negative and I feel so sad after having a BFP before. :( xx

Crossfitgirl · 11/08/2018 17:28

Thanks @flapjackered that's good to know, I'm convinced it's AF coming now though as we DTD this morning and (TMI warning) what came out afterwards had a slight pinky tinge to it, similar to the spotting I tend to get the day before AF.

But now it's gone and so have my sensitive nipples. I'm over analysing like crazy!!

On the plus side, DH initiated the sex!!! For the first time in at least 2 months!! Yaaay!

@flapjackered Hope you get lots of baby dancing done on holiday, lots of chill time, and bring us all back the sun and a BFP!!! Xxx

Delilah7 · 11/08/2018 14:08

Sorry pressed send before I finished 😂😂 hope you all have a lovely weekend!! Xx

Delilah7 · 11/08/2018 14:08

Hop

Bettyhop · 11/08/2018 13:14

Thanks @flapjackered hope you have a lovely holiday and come back with the perfect souvenir Smile xxx
