Welcome @Chivari.

Is it your first cycle off the pill since your withdrawal bleed? If so, are you going from how long your periods were before? Mine are not the same length now as they were before going on the pill, and lots of people do have irregular cycles for a bit after.
That being said, there's a chance you could be - when I last went got the pill before coming off i asked about conception and i was told to be extra careful until we wanted to start properly trying, as people think you won't catch until youve been off the pill for a while to get it out of your system, but you are fertile straight away! would take another test today if you think you're already late. And tell us the result!!
You joined this thread a bit late if you are already pg!! 😂

Good luck!! Xxx

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 07:19

@daisiesandpeonies my ovulation pain is normally one side and I feel abit goodebumpy sometimes with it. I understand the 'fluttery' type feeling!

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 07:18

@ValidUser thank you 😘

@purplestar9 hope the hospital appointment goes well. Let us know 😘

@Chivari Hi welcome. It could be just the pill or it could be babyyyy. Defo wait and see if AF turns up. I was my 3rd cycle when I got pregnant. Unfortunately miscarriaged but I can happen quite quickly. Only symptoms I had was jeans were abit tighter and no cramps that AF would normally bring.

Ladies, had abit of a meltdown last night. Talking to OH about me ovulating and he goes ' we didn't say we was gonna try this early after the miscarriage '. My hearts just sank. I'm now worrying about everything!! I don't know if my DTD in my fertile week and on Friday and Sunday when me ovulating is today supposedly would be enough :( xx

Chivari · 14/08/2018 07:07

Hey everyone! I’m new around here.

Age: 26
Baby: #1
Cycle: 1

I took my last pill (Gederal) mid-July and had a withdrawal bleed as normal. My husband and I have since been TTC. Obviously I have no idea when I am ovulating at the moment but we just tried more than usual around the few weeks I thought I may have been. Anyway, I am now a few days late (AF was due Sunday/yesterday). I am also feeling exhausted, bloated, sore nipples and growing boobs as well as slight cramping. I did a test on Saturday (4 days ago) which was BFN, but not sure when to test again? I may wait a few more days to see if AF turns up! I have previously had breaks from the pill, but my cycles have always gone straight back to normal.

I’d love to hear from others in a similar situation. How long did it take you to get pregnant after coming off BC? What symptoms did you get? Was AF late/irregular?

Thanks! X

ValidUser · 13/08/2018 21:00

@Crossfitgirl I used OPKs, but it stayed blazingly positive for 2 days!

purplestar9 · 13/08/2018 20:52

Thank you @FlapJackered I will update tomorrow :)

@Crossfitgirl I had such bad trapped wind and bloating this cycle around ovulation! I thought I was just being weird but you made me feel better about it! Haha

Crossfitgirl · 13/08/2018 20:48

@daisiesandpeonies when I get ov pain it lasts for days, like 1-2 days before and then about 3 days after this time I reckon, along with sensitive boobs etc.
Is it just on one side? If so, I think that must be what it is! I only ever get fluttery feelings when my tummy is rumbling or I need to fart 😂😂😂 which tbh I think I do do more of when I'm ovulating! I'm sure hormones affect other movements not just your woman organs!!

Thank you @mrsM2017 I hope so! Bought a thermometer and a clear blue OPK to try too!

@validuser I think our bodies just like to mess with us! I mean, I'm still symptom spotting now, and AF is already here!! Haha on my way home from work i was like ooh I feel a bit nauseous... oh wait yeah I'm already out!!

Did you do an OPK to know when you ovulated or are you going from an app? Maybe you ovd earlier than you think? Xx

FlapJackered · 13/08/2018 20:44

Good luck for tomorrow @purplestar9 fingers crossed it is all ok. Let us know how it goes.

@Delilah7 thank you, I'm okay, just a little anxious (I am a VERY anxious person!). DH has decided not to go for his appointment (thank god!) so that means I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn and travel an hour and a half then worry about getting back for my appointment too! So I get a morning of work first to keep me occupied then off to my appointment at 3pm :)

ValidUser · 13/08/2018 18:41

@Delilah7 so glad to hear you're sticking around.

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 18:39

@FlapJackered thank you lovely. I'm not leaving I promise 😘😘😘😘

ValidUser · 13/08/2018 18:31

Spotting today at 2-3 dpo. Far early for period and on the early side for implantation too. Big sore boobs and weepiness. Promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot. Who knows? Confused

MrsM2017 · 13/08/2018 17:31

Sorry to hear AF turned up @Crossfitgirl - next month will be your month!!! Wishing you lots of baby dust!

FlapJackered · 13/08/2018 17:24

Just reiterating all the other comments but @Delilah7 don't leaaaave!!!! We love you here and that is what threads like this are all about having a rant or a cry when you need it without judgement. It's completely understanding that your posts have been less positive but I am sure like everyone here there will be times when you have less positive posts and times that they become more positive. 😘

@daisiesandpeonies I am so with you on the acne, really hoping I am one of those people with beautiful clear skin in pregnancy!

@Crossfitgirl - sorry to hear about af, not good timing with hearing your colleague's news either.

I just felt this weird, 'fluttery' pain slightly to the side. Like something was pumping and moving. Is this what ovulation pain is? My breasts are very tender as well. like I already said. But I did a negative otc like half an hour ago 🤷‍♀️ argh the overanalysing 😭😭😭

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 16:45

@daisiesandpeonies thank you lovely ❤️

daisiesandpeonies · 13/08/2018 16:34

@CrystalBlaze my skin has been horrific since coming off the pill - spots on my shoulders this cycle for the first time since I was about 14 😭 I'm hoping getting no spots will be a pregnancy symptom!
I've still not had a positive otc and I'm on CD20. Just so annoyed with it! I feel like my body is telling me something is changing as my breasts are tender and I'm cramping, but no smiley face in sight.
@Toto19 until your period comes you're definitely not out - try and wait until it's several days late (really hard I know!)
@Delilah7 It's been said already but don't leave us, you're free to say whatever you want positive or negative we're all here for you! I don't know what to advise about ovulation after MC 😞

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 14:09

@Crossfitgirl it defo feels like ovulation pains. Proper pulling at my ovary on the right hand side!! 😂

CrystalBlaze · 13/08/2018 14:06

Sorry to hear about AF @Crossfitgirl. What rubbish timing with the work thing too.

Welcome all new ladies Smile

Today in symptom spotting fun I have loads of tiny spots on my nose Angry

Taking this more as a sign of imminent AF than BFP.

Crossfitgirl · 13/08/2018 14:05

Welcome @Toto19, @kmcneil91!
Thank you @patapouf, @delilah7 and @sunshine1987, I have logged the light brown stuff as spotting from sat/sun, and my full flow from today. Hopefully my cycle is lengthening a little and allowing a bit more precious time for implantation.

@purplestar thinking of you, id be worried too - hope it goes ok at the appointment. Let us know how you get on.

Delilah I don't know about ov after MC, if you feel it'd stress you missing a possible opportunity then DTD anyway, but if you don't feel like it, dont pressure yourself - just go with how you feel.

Toto commiserations on your BFN, it's so disappointing isn't it - but as delilah7 says, you're not out until AF shows her face!

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 13:26

@purplestar9 sorry to hear your heads probably all over the place, understandable to worry about something like that. 😘

@Patapouf Thank you lovely. 😘 hope you're ok

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 13:24

@kmcneil91 hi lovely. Welcome :) keep positive. It all starts after cycle 3 they normally say that's how long it takes for everything to get out of your system etc xx

purplestar9 · 13/08/2018 13:24

@kmcneil91 welcome :) good luck for your new cycle!

Patapouf · 13/08/2018 13:23

Hi toto if implantation occurred a bit later, it might not show up on home pregnancy test yet. If you are PG your HCG levels will double every 48hours so try retesting tomorrow.

Sorry crossfit, dealing with a staff announcement can’t have been easy. I would usually log as spotting. Last month my AF started at 11:30pm at night, I wasn’t sure whether it counted as a full day but if I’d logged it as starting the following day then it would knock my cycle length from 28 to 29 days.

Glad you’re sticking around Delilah, you mustn’t feel pressured to be positive on here. We all know that TTC is a bumpy ride and we need a place to share that.

mrsm I think it must just be because I’m hyper aware now I’m TTC but I don’t recall PMS being this extreme! Don’t want to get my hopes up though.

purplestar9 · 13/08/2018 13:23

@Delilah7 all good today, I'm currently 3DPO if my calculations are correct! Starting to feel a little nervous about my hospital appt tomorrow though (unrelated to TTC... kind of). Having further tests on the lump that I found on my breast, I'm pretty sure it's a cyst so nothing to worry about but it's still nerve wracking! And of course my DH has an appointment at a hospital an hour and a half away in the morning so having to leave the house at 6:30 then try get back in time for my appt closer to home in the afternoon... I'm hoping he decides not to go, it's supposed to be for immunity treatment for his hay fever but it's a course over 3 years and I don't think either of us can deal with that! Sorry... long rant there!
