@delilah7 that's good to know :) how long were you trying?

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 12:19

@gjchapman @Toto19 I fell pregnant just by using flo app so it does work :)

gjchapman · 14/08/2018 12:12

@toto19 you entre when AF starts and finished and it works it out from your month to month cycle. since I became regular its become more accurate. you can also entre if you have a positive ovulation test and then it makes it even more accurate. You can also log other stuff like headaches, craps etc and then it work out patterns. I suffer from migraines and it has worked out that they are time of the month related.

@cupcakesandglitter! hello

I'll have a look at ovia not heard of it

ValidUser · 14/08/2018 11:59

Welcome @cupcakesandglitter!

I use both Flo and Ovia. They seem to be telling me roughly the same thing. I prefer Ovia, but I think I just prefer the article content and layout.

Toto19 · 14/08/2018 11:57

@gjchapman how does the flo app work? I'm using ovia but it seems to just be guess work. I've dtd at the right times according to that but nothing haha! I'm feeling exactly the same, it's so hard to relax and not think about it :( I'm due af today and getting cramps so it's coming! xx

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 11:55

@cupcakesandglitter I'm 23 too. Been trying since May :) xxx

cupcakesandglitter · 14/08/2018 11:47

Hi can I join? 🤗 I'm 23 and started TTC for our first this month :) xx

gjchapman · 14/08/2018 11:38

@toto19 I was on Cerelle which I believe is to be near enough the same as yours. I got my withdrawal blead within a week so I though yey its all working, but then no ovulation for a while. I use the app Flo which I've managed to track my ovulation to between 6-8 days after AF so then I use the ovulation test around day 7 and normally get a positive result. I know exactly how you feel, I wasn't well last week and I was thinking omg I could be pregnant but now I feel fine so I'm just waiting for the dreaded moment again :( its very hard to stay positive and all the people that say don't stress it'll come when you don't expect it to, how can It come when I least expect it to when I'm trying for a baby! makes me angry! (sorry rant over!)

Toto19 · 14/08/2018 11:27

@gjchapman I'm 26, was on cerazette before. It didn't take as long as I've heard others to get regular cycles though when I came off it. Do you use ovulation tests as I tend to give up with them when I seem to not be getting a positive. I asked at the doctors when I was there for something else and he said if you are having regular cycles it pretty much indicates you are ovulating each month so he said come back in Nov and go from there..... it's just that moment when you get af each month and having a little cry. It's hard to stay positive isn't it? Xx

gjchapman · 14/08/2018 11:15

@toto19 I’m exactly the same I said to my DH that if we haven’t managed by Christmas, then we need to go to the doctors. I know it can take longer than a year but if I’m ovulation then surly something isn’t right?! How old are you if you don’t mind me asking? And what pill were you on?

Chivari · 14/08/2018 11:14

@gjchapman thanks! We only started TTC this month so it is our first month. AF was due 2 nearly 3 days ago but still nothing yet. Not even the signs.... waiting a few more days to do a test. Fingers crossed it is a BFP but somehow I think it won't be and my late AF is because my hormones are all over the place.

Hoping you get a BFP soon xx

Toto19 · 14/08/2018 11:10

@gjchapman you sound like you've been ttc the same time as me. Since Christmas but cycles started to be regular around March. Ttc from then and nothing...I know people have been trying much longer but I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking what's wrong with me?

ValidUser · 14/08/2018 11:08

@gjchapman month 1 here!

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 10:54

@gjchapman fingers crossed :) since May. Xx

gjchapman · 14/08/2018 10:45

@chivari I came off my pill at Christmas and have only had a normal cycle for about 4-5 months.

still TTC, AF is due Thursday. Crossing everything for this time as its our first wedding anniversary in a few weeks to! this would be our first baby. I've convinced my self AF is coming though, tell tale signs and im ready for the disappointment again :( how long has every one been TTC for?

FlapJackered · 14/08/2018 10:23

@CrystalBlaze I have pretty much been unable to concentrate since we started ttc 😂 it is very bad for productivity!

@Crossfitgirl thank you!! DH just suggested Michelangelo 😂 although I do like Florence for a girl?

TMI warning but do you find when you're having regular sex, not much comes out after. Normally it is dripping out immediately when we haven't done it for a while, but today there was nothing? Does anyone else have this?

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 08:30

@ValidUser aww. Thank you. I certainly don't feel it with how much I moan 😂

Keep faith though. Could all be a good sign. 😘

ValidUser · 14/08/2018 08:28

@Delilah7 may I commend you for staying sane through all this!?

My episode of spotting is over and done with. On recalculation, I'm about 5 dpo now (apparently we're supposed to time from the first positive opk). AF due a week from today.

Bought some clearblue digital opks for next month. Not to be negative - just realistic. And if I am pregnant they might do for DC2! 😂

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 08:15

@CrystalBlaze yeah that's true... I can't concentrate for SHIT. I need chocolate. I need pink gin. I need all of that right now 😂

CrystalBlaze · 14/08/2018 08:12

Morning ladies! And welcome Chivari. As others have said it can take a while for everything to settle down. If AF doesn't arrive I would do another test in a couple of days.

@Flapjackered hooray for static smiley! Now get to it Wink

@Delilah7 I think @Crossfitgirl's advice is good. Men are rubbish at this sort of stuff sometimes. He might think that was the plan because he thought you would think it was best or something.

Last night I had to keep getting up to go for a wee. But boobs still aren't sore so it makes me think this month isn't the one. Anyone else struggling to concentrate at work?!

Chivari · 14/08/2018 08:06

Thanks @FlapJackered @Crossfitgirl and @Delilah7 Smile I'm hoping it is baby! But who knows. I haven't done a test yet today, was thinking of waiting until tomorrow. Still no sign of AF..... I'll let you know the result!

It is interesting how cycles change so much after BC! I've had breaks between different BC's before but always had regular cycles straight away.

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 07:49

@FlapJackered love the Italian name idea 😍 😘

@Crossfitgirl we've spoken and he says that it will be ok and it will happen and I know he wants a baby. I think it's just after the miscarriage. I feel maybe it's overwhelmed him. So I'll cool off for the next month or so talking about it. ( to him anyways 😂 ) xxx

Crossfitgirl · 14/08/2018 07:48

Yaaaaaayy @flapjackered thats made my morning!! Go get him!!!! We will have to get our thinking caps on for Italian names!

Crossfitgirl · 14/08/2018 07:46

@delilah7 do you want to start trying again? Maybe your OH isn't ready after the MC? Guys don't talk about their feelings enough - I would talk about it together and establish what you both feel is best xxx

FlapJackered · 14/08/2018 07:43

Wahh!!! I got my static smiley!!!! After 14 days of that flashing smiley mocking me! I screamed in the bathroom this morning and DH thought I had hurt myself! 😂
Time for some Italian Dtd! If I get pregnant this cycle I am going to have to give him/her an Italian name.

@Delilah7 good! So glad you're sticking around 😘

@Crossfitgirl I am exactly the same, after AF I felt nauseous and thought, maybe that 3 day full bleed wasn't a period it was just implantation bleeding 🙈😂

Welcome @Chivari - it can take a while for your cycles to get back to normal after, that doesn't mean you can't get pregnant straight away but it's going to be hard to predict af etc until you have had a few periods.
