@ttcat32 well they look like they're getting darker so does that mean you're nearly going to ovulate? I've never used them so I'm not sure.

I tell you what, after all the baby showers I've been to, I better get a bloody good one of my own, and I better get my money's worth for the bloody hundreds of pounds I must have spent on everyones babies up to now!! Hahaha!
Tbh I find it worse when there is an actual baby. After the 2 newborns I've been to see this week, its sooooo hard to think I don't have one yet.

@patapouf I have a short luteal phase, I've ovulated on day 17 / 18 of a 25 / 26 day cycle, so like 8 days for me. I found a really good thread about lots of women who have conceived with 7-9 day LPs and apparently there's no evidence it's even an issue, which is why some doctors don't even believe it needs treatment. I'll try find the link and post it on here, but it reassured me lots.

I've heard stress can be a factor and can make you ovulate later, so I'm hoping to try chill a bit this month . Not easy as our house is up on the market and we are hunting for our forever home!

@daisiesandpeonies I will find some info and link it :-) have you heard of fertility yoga? Find yoga yin on YouTube, I saw it on another thread and I'm gonna try it at some point too. I get easily stressed and I think that's a big factor with sex drive, this ttc is hard!

Did both at the same time because ... well I actually don't know... maybe to compare them?! Anyways CD 21 here, no change to CM so I'm clutching at sticks! I only managed maybe a 2 hour hold before hand. Why can't I just f&&king ovulate already!

@Crossfitgirl have you got a link for the visualisation thingy? I think it might help me, I really don't believe it will happen atm so perhaps it will help.
I've started to get big red acne flaring up today, it's like clockwork at this point in my cycle. I think I can declare myself out now - the progesterone is certainly here!😭
@Patapouf I'm so sorry, it's really disappointing and difficult to stay feeling cheerful, you can always vent here to us. Just try to enjoy the next few days (if you can enjoy af!) without the pressure and unknown worry, have some wine like @ttcat32 said and pamper yourself so you feel beautiful and ready for lots of TTC!

Howdy cowgirls and Hello newcomers!!

Af has arrived today, a day early and I’m feeling rather desolate. I’m not just feeling sorry for myself, convincing myself I’m infertile etc etc I’m now also worrying about having a shorter luteal phase. I have never had a cycle shorter than 28 days and I’m going to try and attribute this 27 day cycle to stress or maybe blame pregnacare conception vitamins!

I had to sit through a baby shower today and it was really difficult not to cry.

I’m sorry you’re in the same AF boat chapman, it really does feel shitty.

Might have to give the visualisation a go crossfit I’m not sure my idle daydreaming will cut it.

I’m going to have a bath and a nice glass of wine, and treat myself to some preseed and a clear blue ovulation test thingy ready for cycle three.

@Crossfitgirl I'm gonna stick with tracking for now and see how that works out!

Me and DH also don't really have a high sex drive so the every other day during fertile period is exhausting but to be honest we both do enjoy it! TMI question now... I seem to have a mix of EWCM and creamy CM today, any idea what this means? Or is it just sort of the switch from being fertile to not? If that makes sense?

@Delilah7 @gjchapman @Crossfitgirl just me then 🙈 DH doesn't have a high sex drive, he's happy with once or twice a week (I'd be happy with once or twice a day 😂) I've just picked him up so I'll be gone for a while 🙄😂 xx

@Crossfitgirl I'm the same I don't have a high sex drive and my DH doesn't either so I also get excited 2 days in a row lol! I've told him every other day this time! I'm hoping this happens. Game of thrones helped lol!! I built it up to it not being my time but still devastated ;(

@Crossfitgirl oh girl I don't have a high sex drive I just do when I'm ovulating 😂😂😂😂 I can't do several times a day! Maybe once a day. I've had issues with my tummy had surgery as they thought I had Endometriosis but I don't!

I dunno how I'd cope with several rounds a day... I was chuffed at 2 days in a row the other week! Lol!

I also can't wait to have a pregnant body... BIG BOOBS FINALLY! mine Are tiny. Although DH says they perfectly fit in his hands so he likes them as they are hehe.

@gjchapman sorry about AF, it's so disappointing isn't it when she comes. I was literally devastated this time, but I get so moody when I come on - now I'm in a new cycle I'm just looking ahead to all the sex were going to have in a week or two and how its going to make us a baby!

Thanks @flapjackered and @purplestar for the temping advice, gonna try it for a month and if the thermometer is rubbish I'll get a natural cycles one - i got an "i-snow" one, seems to have ok reviews.

On the subject of thinking about when we will all be pregnant and how our bodies will change. I might try some visualisation! They say it's great for preparing for all sorts of things and already gets you in the mindset. I do believe there is a huge link with body and mind - if I visualise my pregnant self enough, maybe it will prepare my body, help me relax, and make it happen!

@Delilah7 😏 actually I've really surprised myself, I'm actually really really enjoying having this much sex anyway, I think it may carry on when I'm pregnant! Plus DH has said he can't wait for my pregnancy boobs and bum
