Cycle day 24 for me now, and I think about 9 or 10 dpo. Been trying to ignore the crampy/twingy feelings I've been having for the past couple of day as 1) I dont want it to be AF (although she isn't due til Sunday at the earliest) and 2) Ive symptom spotted before and it's never turned into a bfp. Although that being said I've had some weird aches in that area (like I've spent a day horse riding!) and been in bed by 9:30 the last couple of evening where I feel so tired...... Just trying my best not to make too much of it at the moment 😐

I have a couple of frer tests - but not sure when would be best to use them?

I've just checked (even though we've DTD) my CM is definitely egg white!! I let DH nap too he really can't hack this much sex but I lay there and tried some of the mindfulness techniques from that link below, and I'm feeling a bit better and positive xx

I usually have to literally get butt naked and straddle my DH and take his phone out of his hand / turn the telly off to get his attention sometimes!

To be fair, it never fails!

They are so easy to get what we want from them - ttc has actually made me far more confident in initiating tbh! Before I would never have tried it on at the times I have done these past 2 months, and he's still been up for it!

@Crossfitgirl Thanks that's really helpful! I've only had the lines yesterday and today and no other symptoms of ov so maybe still a few days. Maybe a little bit crampy ( although maybe wishful thinking) xx

@ttcat32 these pics are of my tests either side of my positive.
The one with hardly any line at all was taken at around 7pm the night before.
Then I got the positive one at 1pm the next day.
Then the darker of these two pics was taken just a few hours later at 8pm and you can see how much lighter it is again after the positive one.

@ttcat32 how long have you had 2 lines on the test for? My first month doing those, I never got a positive at all but I did get faint lines around the same time as hormoney symptoms, around cd17. They got stronger over a day or two, then I didn't test on the day I think I ovulated because I was at a wedding, but I'm certain that's when I did, as my body was so symptomatic. The lines then disappeared the next day.

I then did them again this month, and the same happened - i got the faintest of faint lines for a day or 2, then I only got one test that was a teeeeny bit darker than the control, then later the same day, the 2nd line had reduced back down to being the same as the test line.

I think you can easily miss the window with the timing of the test, or your surge isn't very strong and the test just picks up What LH it can.

My positive looked like this pic - does that help? I can post you pics of the other ones I did that I kept getting that were negative to compare?

@ttcat32 I reckon they're near on positive! It's so difficult to catch the surge sometimes so I would go with it tonight and retest tomorrow to see. If it's gone completely white again you know today was the one

@daisiesandpeonies have a read of this, it focuses more on pregnancy but also says it's really important for preconception too.
I work in a team with specialist psychologists who use visualisation as some of their treatments in helping people take control of their situations, and it's also used in sport - i used to do gymnastics and we were told to do it for competition preparation. it's proven to work for lots of aspects of life. Maybe it'll help xx

@ttcat32 sorry I have no idea... your line is supposed to be darker than test, but the only time I got a result was when they looked like that too, which is why I stopped 😂

@Crossfitgirl I saw that too - I'd also be interested in a link for the visualisation too please!! I think I've convinced myself that it just won't happen every month so I'm putting myself off xx
