@Malichick I got 2 straight days of blazing positive OPKs. Apparently you time from the start of the surge, but I've been counting day after my first positive because ovulation is likely the day after (might be sooner for some, particularly as you get older - I'm 28 so not there yet, I don't think!)

Apparently temping helps confirm. I might try that this month.

Malichick · 19/08/2018 11:20

@crystalblaze Congratulations!!

Just got my positive opk :D Do you guys count dpo from the day after the positive opk or the day after that? As positive opk suggests o will happen in like 24 hours time right???

Crossfitgirl · 19/08/2018 11:19

I agree, sounds like ovulation pain to me @mrsR16.
Sooo we have finally booked our holiday for September (YAY!!) and had a realisation about dates...

AF is due the day before we fly! Soooo if I DO get pregnant this cycle... I may not find out until the morning we go, or even a few days into the holiday!
May have to pack some tests!!!

Anyone who is already pregnant, how have you all been feeling in the first week or two after finding out? I've heard it's fine to fly in the first trimester, but I'm now worrying about all sorts - what if I feel unwell and can't fly or something?? What if I'm too nauseous to enjoy the holiday? The thought of not being right, whilst being in a foreign country isn't nice.

I'd probably ring my own GP and ask for a telephone appointment!! Ahh always a worrier.

At least if I'm not pregnant, I'll be on holiday and can get wasted!!!

CrystalBlaze · 19/08/2018 10:32

Morning gang! Sounds like it could be ovulation pain @MrsR.

How is everyone?

sunshine1987 · 19/08/2018 10:20

@MrsR16 fingers crossed! I didn't even realise I got pains when I ovulated until I started tracking my cycles. Funny how you don't notice stuff before

MrsR16 · 19/08/2018 09:33

@sunshine1987 I'm not sure! I'm hoping so 😊 I've only been off my pill a little while so my body's still sorting itself out

Delilah7 · 19/08/2018 09:25

@MrsM2017 I'm ok thank you. Feeling tired from yesterday but ok. I had quite abit of white discharge yesterday in my knickers but other than that I've been distracted haha. How're you? I'd say that would be ovulation pain. Any CM to go with it? X

sunshine1987 · 19/08/2018 09:22

@MrsR16 could it be ovulation pain? I get a dull ache, sort of like a cramp in what I imagine is my ovary the day I ovulate x

MrsM2017 · 19/08/2018 09:22

Thanks everyone - will hold out a day or two and test again depending on whether AF shows or not 😊

Morning @Delilah7, how are you today? x

Delilah7 · 19/08/2018 09:20

Morning lovely ladies ❤️

MrsR16 · 19/08/2018 09:18

So ladies, here's one for you. According to Flo, I'm due to ovulate today. I couldn't sleep last night at all, I was ridiculously warm and I had a horrible pain in my side! Is this normal???

purplestar9 · 19/08/2018 09:14

Thanks @FlapJackered was wondering why mine had increased for two days but could just be normal (or due to taking the temp at a different time with it being the weekend!)

Chivari · 19/08/2018 09:11

@MrsM2017 try testing again tomorrow and then the day after (assuming AF doesn't turn up). Sometimes it takes a while for the HcG to be strong enough

FlapJackered · 19/08/2018 09:02

This is mine last cycle not sure there is any real pattern except for ovulation and then it dips before AF.

Can anybody who temps show me what a full cycle of theirs looks like please? I've only been doing it a couple of weeks but don't really know what it's supposed to look like at certain times of the cycle (except around ovulation). Thanks!! 😊

FlapJackered · 19/08/2018 08:48

Thanks, I think you're all right, 26th does make more sense. I wish I hadn't brought a hpt on holiday. It's going to take all my will power not to test!

Sorry to hear that @MrsM2017 - you're not completely out until AF though!

@Crossfitgirl - the natural cycles one does beep, which is annoying but doesn't light up at all. I don't take my temp at the same time each day, I just do it when I wake up, it normally is roughly the same time though and I can still see a definite shift once I have ov'd.

MrsM2017 · 19/08/2018 08:48

Ugh, does it @ValidUser - keeping everything crossed for both of us x

ValidUser · 19/08/2018 08:45

@MrsM2017 I feel your pain! I'm a bit earlier than you, but a negative test sucks!

ValidUser · 19/08/2018 08:43

Still negative tests, but still feeling nauseated. Still gassy. Maybe a funny indent this morning?

Anyhoo, concerned AF is coming - watery CM. But not my usual flat out misery with PMS.

AF due tomorrow. That'll be 10-11 dpo. Time will tell!

MrsM2017 · 19/08/2018 08:42

Thanks @CrystalBlaze, good to know - I'm 14dpo today 🙂

@ttcat32 @Patapouf @FlapJackered - tested this morning (day AF is due) and bfn on frer.....? 😐

If I were you @FlapJackered I'd test on the 26th 😊

@MrsReader fab xx

MrsReader · 19/08/2018 01:29

Yes, strength in numbers!

cupcakesandglitter · 19/08/2018 00:44

@FlapJackered I'd definitely test on the 26th, let your holiday be focused solely on that - make the most of it and give your body time to rest before you test! Xx

@MrsReader ooh will you be joining us on testing on the 28th? Xx

MrsReader · 19/08/2018 00:12

Cupcakes- I'm due AF the same day as you, hopefully she won't show!

MrsReader · 19/08/2018 00:11

Thanks girls for the advice on when to test Smile
