Fingers crossed for you. I've been reading up on early testing. I mean, we all spend a fortune on tests even when we know it's too early. I went to my local pound shop to grab 2 packets of ovulation strips, thinking it's around ovulation time. Got home to notice they were pregnancy strips 😂
I'm only (roughly) 4 dpo and those 6 strips have already been used up!

Fingers crossed for you though. Don't give in to temptation ☺

@Wobble85 I'm now 8dpo. Took last Thursday as my most likely ovulation day. Still getting EWCM. Had a few darkish opks since, but nothing I could say was positive. Just the waiting game now, resisting the urge to test early!

@BoBo90 thanks for all of your advice! Sods law isn't it, the month I go out and buy pre seed I now seem to be generating EWCM, typical x

That's fine don't panic! Just dtd for a couple more days 🙂 Remember that the egg is released 12-36 hrs after a positive opk so the ewcm appearing now is about right. Also (sorry for the following description but I can't think of a better way to put it 😖) it may have been up there the last day or so but is only falling out now. Great news that it's made an appearance this cycle though so 🤞🏻It's a sign of good things to come!

Right so now I'm really confused? Did another opk in the afternoon. Negative. Go to the toilet an hour later and all of a sudden I have EWCM? And lots of it? What the?!

Thanks @BoBo90 I hope so too! Just so I can regain some of my sanity 🙈 Only been at this TTC business for 4 months and it's already driving me insane! Lol. It's reassuring to know that you don't necessarily need to have EWCM To concieve. I guess all I can do now is keep testing and DTD as usual and hopefully this will be my month 🤞

Cervix should be low for ovulation but you might have just missed it (mine only goes low for half a day). I never used to have ewcm either but got my bfp in the end. Hopefully the preseed will help! I really hope you're going into the tww and on your way to a bfp but I'd maybe do an opk every few days just to make sure you successfully ov'd and your body doesn't try to ov again 😊

That's okay @BoBo90 I was fully expecting a BFN, so it's no biggie :)

and ive no signs im about to ovulate other than the fact that last night my cervix was high soft and open, but I read somewhere that CP isn't the most reliable indictator of fertility so .. felt slight pulling sensation in the left side of my abdomen at about 7pm last night but I reckon that was just my imagination, lol, we DTD last night so hopefully if that was ovulation I'm covered! I work shifts and won't be home from work until 11:30pm tonight so OH will be tucked up in bed asleep by then so not sure if I'll be able to get another one in tonight, lol, hopefully I've done enough. Fingers crossed 🤞

And I never have egg white cm, we're using preseed this cycle for that very reason

Sorry it was a bfn @Momma22 at least that's been ruled out now.
So if the opk is now faint that would suggest you will ovulate today or tomorrow! Have you had any other signs like ewcm?

Done a pregnancy test just to see, BFN like I thought. Took another ovulation test this morning and that was also negative? Not sure what thinks means, did I ovulate last night? Or was it because I took the opk with first morning urine? I don't know, gonna do another in a couple of hours and we shall see

@Momma22 - definitely positive, although likely, it doesn't necessarily mean you will ovulate, it just means your body is gearing up to ovulate. Do you temp? As that will tell you if you do end up ovulating with a temperature rise. I have had positive opks early before on longer cycles and not gone on to ovulate until later.

Right so just because I'm slightly addicted to peeing on sticks, I took another one 🙈 To any normal person this pic probably looks exactly the same as the last one I posted, lol, but I'm not normal and to me that test line is just ever so slightly darker, I'm sure it's a positive now. What's going on with my body? Cycle day 10? so weird wasn't expecting this for another week. I reckon these cheap tests are dodgy

@BoBo90 I don't have any pregnancy tests lying around, I'll have to pick some up soon just to rule it out. I really don't think I could be pregnant though, because I have zero symptoms (in my previous pregnancies, my boobs were so sore, and now, nothing?) and I'm convinced I had a period and not IB?

I would definitely still suggest doing a test
just to rule it out? I'm not sure it'd pick up a positive the day after possible implantation bleeding? Though our bodies are always different

I'd say yes OP. I use the same and I know it's a bit weird but after a month of confusion on month 2 I took pics of mine so I could be sure the line was getting darker. I looked for darker rather than as dark as the test strip because I didn't want to miss it due to testing once a day.

I definitely think it's worth ruling out. Do you have any pg tests? If not I'd assume it's ov for now and keep testing with the cheap opks, dtd and then pick up a pg test as soon as you can.
Also don't worry about the Pinot as it wouldn't have affected any potential baby this early 😊

@momma22 I sometimes ovulate quite early - ovulated on day 9 this month then other days have ranged between 11-14! I panicked at first but I think it just depends what is normal for you and your cycle

Do you really think so? @BoBo90 I had the first day of my period was very light, the second day fairly heavy, and the following 2 days were light (only needed a panty liner sorry if TMI) I was under the impression that IB was 1, 2 days max of very light, pink or brown bleeding? In a way I hope I'm not, because I polished off a bottle of Pinot Grigio on Friday night 🙈 And I've just wasted a good chunk of money on preseed and opks

I agree with the other poster recommending you take a pg test. If it was bleeding because of implantation taking a test the next day probably would have been too soon. It is possible to have a bleed like a period and still be pregnant. As it's so early for ov it might be worth it.

Really confusing ! My lines have been really faint but I feel like they should be darker, deffo going back to cb once these are all gone x

That's a good idea @seven201 might buy a cb opk next month and the amazon ones and do it that way. Even still the clearblue are just so expensive!

Looks positive or nearly positive to me. Get busy tonight and for the next couple of days!

I use cb in the morning and then the amazon cheapies in the afternoon. I do have quite irregular cycles so sometimes end up doing 20 days+ of clearblue, which is blooming expensive!
