User..that's wonderful news! I didnt twig that you'd actually had her when you said ..doh!! Grin what have you called her? How are you both doing now? Xx

user1471543239 · 23/09/2018 17:18

Thanks @booseysmom.I had her yesterday and still can’t quite believe she is mine!! I hope that things work out for you really soon. So great to hear of other older mums like snowie3’s sister having success too! Xx

BooseysMom · 23/09/2018 16:59

PetraRabbit ...yes my cm has been mental for quite a lot of cycles now and I feel its saying "now it's your last chance...dtd now!!" I've managed twice and then yesterday I swear I had a bit of pink but fell asleep when should have dtd and was too tired to bother!!

Snowie3...what fantastic news about your sister! I'm 46 and am always in awe and disbelief whenever I hear such stories!

User... congratulations Flowers..when did you have your baby?

Shiny... good to hear from you and thanks for the updated list. I've been off the radar too and yes there sure is a lot to catch up on! Smile

Ameliel · 23/09/2018 16:04

Hi all,
Thanks @shinyblackdog for updating the list, vow so nice to see lots of us in same boat! Congrats to all BFP ladies!
I've been temping 17 days now since I had the implant removed on 6th September. Here's the graph... I'm no expert but doesn't look too good... I thought I could have maybe o'd the 2nd day as there was a peak but I'm starting to think the low temp on the first day was probably just an error, it did seem too soon. I've since changed my thermometer as it was running out of battery. So ignoring the first temp, it looks pretty unovulatory to me Confused... no symptoms whatsoever, no sign of AF... so where do I go from here? I guess I can only wait for my hormones to get back in balance...
I'm tempted to try acupuncture, has anyone here got any good experiences from that?

I use solgar ubiquinol, usually about £25 on ebay. Great news about your sister snowie! Gives us hope

Petra - I know what you mean about every cycle bringing a new concern, I'm impressed at how many different things my body can come up with!!

Chatbash72 · 23/09/2018 14:20

Ooh @Snowie3 as a 45 year old I am loving that news, was it ivf ?
@PetraRabbit had ewcm a few days back and now it's gone a bit bonkers so who knows... but dtd every couple of days to be on safe side..
@Snowie3 I know what you mean about supplements.. prenates I get from Superdrug.. did get ubiquinol from woods but the don't do them anymore.. so I look on amazon but Holland and Barrett have them and not too bad in price..

Snowie3 · 23/09/2018 11:32

Can anyone recommend ubiquinol source? I'm always a bit sceptical on the supplements i buy and never know which ones to get.

Snowie3 · 23/09/2018 11:29

Amazing news User!!

Enjoy this special time with your little one!!

AF arrived for me yesterday. Bang on time. Didn't expect anything from this month as I've been having too many glasses of wine esp, around ovulation time and just didn't really feel into it this month.

It's so hard to deal with when it arrives esp since I've gotten BFP before. You ask yourself why and feel defeated. Anyway need to focus on the next month now.. but i seem to do better when i don't think about it and pretend I'm not really ttc. But when you want it so much you cant really pretend you don't care!! Then nothing happens!

Anyway, to add another positive story.. my sister is currently 25 weeks pregnant at the age of 46!

PetraRabbit · 22/09/2018 22:31

User..thanks for sharing your story. Enjoy your baby!

Thanks for the advice on the continuing EWCM. Every cycle brings some new interest/concern!

weasledee · 22/09/2018 22:25

User many congratulations!! Enjoy your new daughter and thanks for sharing your story Smile

Chatbash72 · 22/09/2018 21:39

Ooh @user1471543239 congratulations 💕💕💕💕

user1471543239 · 22/09/2018 20:27

Thank you so much! I am rooting for you ladies. I know it’s a really difficult journey so just wanted to let you know it is possible!!

Cleozeta · 22/09/2018 19:22

Omg user, congratulations!! That's amazing Smile
Thankyou so much for coming on here to tell us, and bringing us hope

user1471543239 · 22/09/2018 18:54

HI
I have never posted on here before but lurked..... I lost a baby last year at 14 weeks at the grand old age of 43. I thought that was my last chance baby .... never really believing I could have a healthy baby ... until today .. when at 44 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Don’t give up hope ladies it can and does happen. Ever good wish to you all xxx

Chatbash72 · 22/09/2018 13:46

@Cleozeta not cramps but the odd twinge... bit more pinky cm.., best get busy later

Cleozeta · 22/09/2018 12:18

Does anyone else get cramps at 6/7 dpo? Had it a few months ago too (not pregnant obvs), so just wondering if anyone else got this, and what it could be? I hope my ovaries are not falling apart!

littlemimosa · 22/09/2018 08:01

Mellon congratulations!! I just love love love an over 40 bfp. Fingers crossed for you.

Petra - I get that some months. I’ll get ewcm for 2-3 days around ovulation then it dries up then I get some more for a couple of days but slightly different in that it’s even clearer and slippery. V odd. Who knows. I don’t temp or really do opks so I don’t know which one is really ovulation but I will probably start doing all that again soon.

Letsdothis42 · 22/09/2018 03:35

I echo @booseysmom WOW
been mia for a few weeks and just caught up! @mellongoose I am so excited for you and all the other BFP's !

I am still planning on IVF tests commencing next cycle which is in approx 10 days (still to book them privately)

Still been DTD this cycle hoping for a natural miracle but too much going on for me to believe something has taken!

Welcome to all new users too!

BooseysMom · 21/09/2018 20:10

Ooh Mellon! Just seen your bfp too...Congratulations! Flowers ..
Hold on in there all you little beans!! 😁

BooseysMom · 21/09/2018 20:07

Wow what alot of stuff going on! After reading thru nearly 30 pages i've missed here is my two pennies worth!! ..
Martydog & Floofsquidge..Congratulations on your BFPs Flowers
Welcome to all the new ladies.
Wishing... your story is similar to mine. I had 2 mcs then conceived DS at 40 and had him 3 months any of 41. There is hope.
I have just had the AF from hell to the point where I was convinced I had endometriosis but it turned out to be shocking pmt. My cycles are shortening now. I'm 46 and don't hold out much hope of DC2 but like to stay on this thread ..I guess i'm nosy! I feel blessed to have DS regardless.

Good luck to all xx

Presh12345 · 21/09/2018 15:25

40 tmrw. 7dpo. No signs or symptoms of either AF or BFP. So afraid I have left it too late. MMC June 2017 and nothing since. Next step is fertility treatment and more than likely IVF.

crivit · 21/09/2018 15:18

I have a few requirements that mean most makes aren't usable by me and I've ended up getting them from a website called bodykind. When I first looked earlier in the year it was the only one I could find that was an option. I'll be having another look over the next few weeks to see if another option has appeared in time for the next purchase. Not having had work for the last two months means the price increase hurt even more Sad

Just had a slight amount of spotting too. Goodness knows.

Cleozeta · 21/09/2018 14:43

Chat - I think after looking at my ava stats, ov would have been on the same day as spotting, as temps have raised nicely since then. We dtd every other day so hopefully ok, but don't think it was the best chance as ov would have happened at an awkward time between the last 2 'attempts'.

Petra - sounds like hard work as thats a long time to be dtd!! Never had it that long yet (I say yet, as something new comes along to throw me every cycle)
Hopefully it means you did finally ov though! When I had an anovulatory cycle I had no ewcm at all.

Crivit - will be interested to know if your prog cream helps. I bought some a while back but not dared use it yet!

And.... where on earth do you get your ubiquinol?! I pay about £25 on ebay!

crivit · 21/09/2018 13:38

Fck me... I've just gone to buy more ubinquinol and it's gone up around 25 percent in six weeks... From £98 to £123. The amount I take each day that's only 50 days worth sobs quietly at credit card*
