I understand that one Monday! I wasn'g going to test early either, but caved as temps were looking so good. To be honest I think I did quite well holding out until 11dpo!

mondaycando1 · 26/09/2018 13:46

10 dpo here and I've caved and bought tests despite saying I wouldn't test til Sunday, I know I will before then as I have zero willpower!

crivit · 26/09/2018 13:40

@Cleozeta - sometimes mine keep rising until after my period starts but I have no idea why unfortunately.

fingers crossed for a BFP for you in the next few days though!

crivit · 26/09/2018 13:36

@Dinah99 - I am doing 2ww progesterone yes, albeit for the first time this month. I plumped for www.wellsprings-health.com/ and the serenity cream. They popped up a few times in searches, people posting about them and so on. We shall see!

Vitamins / supplements, I take a few at the moment. I did use maca for a while but, although I rather liked the taste (went well with my usual breakfast yogurt-y stuff), I didn't stick with it once my initial stash was finished. Currently I take Evening Primrose (until ovulation), a glass of grapefruit juice (same - fortunately I like the taste), soya isoflavones 100 - 150mg day 5 - 9 only, a pre-natal vit / min mix, extra calcium / magnesium / zinc (mainly because the doctor who suggested it many years ago - non-TTC related - was rather lovely), folic acid, Ubiquinol at 300mg per day (current one also has extra b6 but likely to change to one without when my current stash runs out), DHEA also at 300mg per day, Vit D one a day at the moment but will add another in a month or so given lessening sun. The DHEA I only take as I had lower testosterone at my last bloods, wouldn't have risked it otherwise without talking to a medical professional. I haven't spoken to any medical type about these supplements though. I tried to talk about it with the consultant at my fertility referral but they rather batted it all aside.

Oh, and some acidophilus at the moment because my digestive system is throwing one of its occasional strops. Very inconvenient.

I don't quite rattle!

In other news, bum feeling a lot calmer today Grin

Cleozeta · 26/09/2018 13:23

So for me today, my temps are still rising at 11dpo. AF is due tomorrow and got a bfn today. Temps are much higher than they would normally be, and keep rising. I would post my ff chart but can't figure out how.
Does anyone know if there is a reason aside from pregnancy for high progesterone?? Has anyone ever had a consistantly rising bbt chart before?

Cleozeta · 26/09/2018 13:18

Dinah no never had it.
As for vitamins, I take;
Seven seas pre conception
Ubiquinol
Royal Jelly
Wheat grass
Inositol
B complex
Sometimes vitex if it looks like things arent moving
Evening primrose oil

mellongoose · 26/09/2018 12:58

@Dinah99 I don't know if it made a difference but I was taking B vits on top of pregacare. It's the only thing that gives me a general pick me up. I'd been feeling run down and started taking them again.

CritterTamer · 25/09/2018 21:33

@Dinah99 I also take vitamin D in spray form, DHA oil capsules and a teaspoon of spirulina morning and evening.

Dinah99 · 25/09/2018 21:03

Has anyone got the holy grail definitive list of prenatal vitamins and amounts? I hear a lot about needing more of the B vitamins. I take a regular pregnacare one but just in case I'm missing something be great if anyone has it can post it. Thanks.
On top of vits, doing royal jelly, can't take ubiquinol annoyingly due to heart, can't take maca due to thyroid, but if there's any other supps or vits I've missed please add.
@crivit hope bum gets better! Grin

Dinah99 · 25/09/2018 20:54

@crivit so are you doing progesterone during 2ww? Where did you find it online? X

Dinah99 · 25/09/2018 20:51

@Cleozeta I have a theory that I didn't get brown spotting before either of my PGs (one ended in MC) though can't be sure as wasn't an obsessive symptom spotter then, so I always see it as a bad sign and heart sinks when I see it. It might be an age thing, do you remember getting it before your last PGs?

crivit · 25/09/2018 20:51

I tend to go with the idea that nothing is ever simple in this whole affair @Dinah99 Instead it's mostly faffy, expensive and / or frustrating Smile

I've just popped my first lot of progesterone cream on after my OV test dropped back this morning. It's sticky and now my left arse cheek (lucky first guinea pig body part that it is) feels sort of prickly. Not itchy as such, which is nice as I don't want to wander around having to scratch it all the time, but not quite normal. Probably just a standard ingredient disagreeing with my delicate bum rather than anything to do with the progesterone is my guess Grin

Also, welcome @Jenbot78 and best of luck @CritterTamer !

Dinah99 · 25/09/2018 20:43

Just saw gyn and asked him for any last ditch things he could recommend in my last few months of trying, he recommended a fertility clinic in Barcelona or adoption!! Didn't know whether to laugh or cry- not that there's anything wrong with either, I just thought something closer to home or simpler... Grin

Dinah99 · 25/09/2018 20:40

@Cleozeta about 14 days but I OVd early this month so prob longer x

Cleozeta · 25/09/2018 20:25

How long is your lp usually dinah?
I've not had the brown stuff to start yet, I say yet as no cycle is ever the same these days!

Dinah99 · 25/09/2018 19:01

10dpo was feeling lucky this month but just got the beginning of the tell tale gummy brown tiny bit of CM Sad, which precedes AF anyone else get this? x

karryk · 25/09/2018 16:24

Hello everyone! Congrats user SmileFlowers what fabulous news.

@Cleozeta my ava arrived this morning - going to use it tonight!

Cleozeta · 25/09/2018 11:29

Welcome Jen
Good luck critter - keep us updated!
As for me, am loving the ava bracelet. It's the first time I've tracked a full cycle of temps (well 10dpo today, so this far) and it's really interesting! Temp has gone up every day since ov, so it looks like a big long fishing rod when I put the data into ff. Which is great, because at worst, my hormones look to be doing better than I thought. Just waiting now to see if the accupuncture lengthens my lp again. Fingers crossed.
Hope everyone is doing well

Chatbash72 · 25/09/2018 08:28

Welcome @Jenbot78 and good luck @CritterTamer xx

weasledee · 25/09/2018 08:20

Hi jen and welcome to the group!

Critter fingers crossed for you, keep us all updated x

CritterTamer · 24/09/2018 21:31

Hey all, been away for a few days - congrats to all the BFPs and especially to User 😊. Baseline scan and first set of down regulation/stim injections today for IVF2 so here we go again 🤞Also has acupuncture and a day 3 FSH./oestradiol blood test today so feel a bit like a pincushion 😁

Jenbot78 · 24/09/2018 19:38

Hello, can I join? I was over on the infertility board but feel I would like to be in conception, as it makes me feel, well, less infertile I suppose! Glad to see this thread as feeling very old and wondering if my eggs are all hard boiled now! My story is that I’m 40 and TTC no. 2. Have one DD age 16 months from IVF and have just had a frozen embryo transfer from the same round (ended in a CP.) I have Hashimotos which makes it difficult to conceive (hence why we had fertility treatment) but not impossible so we are still TTC naturally too...Not loving the TTC shagging again, is all a bit of a chore 😬. Think DH is a bit fed up with it too! Is anyone taking Myo inositol? What is it for and does anyone rate it?

CookieWaffle · 24/09/2018 08:22

Oh wow, another BFP and a birth (or two)! Congrats all!! Fills me with a little more encouragement xxx

CD12 I've been quietly avoiding Mumsnet as I think it probably fuels my obsession! Looking at the list update, I'm now on month 6 with 2 CPs, I wish it was month 3 again! Could've done without the stress of the past few months! Got lots of things going on to occupy my mind over the incoming TWW anyway.

@Ameliel I've seen various reports about it taking a while for people's bodies to get back to normal after implants are removed. I second using an app though, much easier to read. Hope you get some answers soon.

shinyblackdog · 23/09/2018 20:59

Amelial, you might find using an app more helpful, as they are better able to analyse the data than doing it by eye. I use Fertility Friend because I like the stats information it gives you but there are a few out there. Also, you might just be having a long ovulatory phase, due to this being your first natural cycle for a while - just keep temping, it's all useful data. And even if this one is anovulatory it doesn't mean the next one will be. Are you doing your temps at the same time every day?

I did acupuncture to try to get AF back after tfmr last year. I did it for four months and nothing so I went on clomid. I kept up the acupuncture though, to supplement the drugs and because I liked it and found my acupuncturist very helpful. I got a BFP after five months but miscarried at about seven weeks.

Dinah99 · 23/09/2018 19:30

Awww @user1471543239 that's just tremendous news, I'm thrilled for you! Hope you and gorgeous baby both doing great. I went through a similar situation as you at 43, any hot tips for a fellow 44 year old or anything you think you did that helped?
Amazing news. Massive congratulations xx ❤️❤️❤️
