Needing reassurance. I'm 4dpo, cm has mostly gone and i'm not sure if other symptoms are in my head, such as mild cramps, sore ish nipples, excess siliva and my temp is fluctuating in a .2 range (between 36.5-36.7). Have i missed the boat this month? Or is it too early to know? When should i expect the unexpected, if anything is to be expected?? SmileConfused

Karigan198 · 11/08/2018 08:12

Hey Marty, a while ago we discovered that nearly everyone who had has a positive was taking vitamin b6.

mellongoose · 11/08/2018 08:08

Gahh! Another invalid one. They are FRER but Superdrug's own brand. TBF it came out of the same packet. Buy cheap, buy twice. I never learn.

I'm heartened by still no AF this morning though. I knew I should've waited until Monday!

wimsywon · 10/08/2018 23:57

Thanks for welcoming me Smile i hope to share good news and celebrate our successes! SmileFlowers

Martydog · 10/08/2018 23:45

Af reared her head today and it has really hit me hard today. But I am now thinking more positive so I am determined to do something different as both times I got pregnant it was after something new.

So this my normal routine 5mg folic acid, pregnancy multivitamins, aspirin, progesterone cream, pineapple dpo 1 - 5. So what can I add to this?

Chatbash72 · 10/08/2018 23:14

Welcome @wimsywon and @DoraDont.. big congrats @CookieWaffle.. gosh I go away and it's all going on xx

Cleozeta · 10/08/2018 19:48

Hopefully its just a long LH rise and not anovulatory. Last time I had one of those it lasted 3 months, don't think I could bear that again.

I know what you mean about forgetting things, I do that all the time, so wouldn't be at all surprised if the old haggered body did the same.

Karrigan, hope things sort out for you soon, must be frustrating

crivit · 10/08/2018 18:14

It could simply be a random cycle? A sort of fertility amnesia where the body forgets what it's supposed to do. Like when we walk into a room and forget what we went in there for. When we leave said room we often remember. Similarly, when the next cycle starts the body re-sets and hopefully remembers!

Only just thought of this idea / analogy but I like it. I've been doing the forgetting thing since I was a kid so I'm going to try and forgive my body for doing similar with my fertility / cycle Smile

Karigan198 · 10/08/2018 18:05

Where are you in your cycle? Could it be you’re having a longer LH rise and fall?

Hopefully it’s nothing to do with Peri.

Welcome all the new people.

My AF is still awol. Have had a bit of spotting though. Sunday will make it 8 weeks from LMP/mc and 4 weeks from when I had ovulation signs 🤷‍♀️.

Cleozeta · 10/08/2018 17:12

Welcome wimsy and dora!
Good luck mellon, I hope this is a lucky thread with lots of bfp's!

So, i'm still getting medium lines on opk's but no positive and no ewcm. It's unusual for me as when not in fertile time my opk's are usually stark white. I only ever see a line if it's building up to ov, however the line this cycle has been at the same level now (only getting slightly lighter) for 5 days in a row. I hope it is not the perimenopause rearing its ugly head again. I hate the stress of all this, I don't know weather to go full throttle or to just quit altogether. I just want things to be normal for once.

BooseysMom · 10/08/2018 16:16

Omg my rubbish phone. ..obv meant to type Congrats! Doh!

BooseysMom · 10/08/2018 16:15

Cobgrwts Cookie.. that's a def bfp there!! x

Good luck Melon x

Welcome and baby dust wishes to wimsy & dora x

Cleo..thank you for your msg of encouragement. I'm currently on 2ww but not that hopeful as we didn't dtd enough really..but then it only takes once so we'll see!

crivit · 10/08/2018 14:49

How rude of it mellon! Hopefully tomorrow's test isn't of the same batch.

I've run out of ovulation sticks to fulfill my need to do a daily test at the moment. I have 5 or 6 pregnancy tests in (mix of supermarket and pound shop jobbies) but I have no idea if I've actually ovulated yet or if I'm anovulatory this month. Had, I would say, three darker OV tests in the last couple of weeks. First was 2 weeks ago, second was 11 days ago, the last one today. Currently CD30. Temps are not helping either but then the weather has been all over the place Confused Phooey to it all right now. I'm going to work on my CV and then treat myself to some biscuits with an afternoon coffee Brew

SparrowSG · 10/08/2018 13:58

Lets there was a really good thread on the Infertility board about IVF abroad, I'll try to find it and link it here.

Cookie congratulations Smile

Mellon fingers crossed for you

Orchid222 · 10/08/2018 13:35

So I just did a sneaky test on my lunch hour but it showed as invalid!!!! Will wait until the morning. Still no AF.

CookieWaffle · 10/08/2018 12:50

Thanks all :)

Symptom spotting is fun and exciting but I wouldn't take anything seriously til at least 12dpo!

Orchid222 · 10/08/2018 11:58

Wimsy I think 3dpo might be too early to notice any symptoms, maybe apart from temp difference but I never tracked mine so I wouldn't know. My only symptoms were sore boobs and the need for lots of olives with chilli but even though they both came early on it certainly wasn't as early as 3dpo.

Welcome Dora.

Let's I wouldn't know where to start re: IVF clinics abroad, probably with Google bit I think I've read good things about a clinic in Czech republic and one in Poland, I think that one was in Gdansk which is right on the sea so you could've your beach holidays at the same time :) and I think someone has mentioned Spain as well. Sorry I can't be more specific :(

hello and welcome @Doradont

DoraDont · 10/08/2018 11:04

Congratulations cookie!

Please can I join you all? I'm 44, dd is almost 4, ttc #2. Last year I had a mmc discovered at 8wks and a few weeks later conceived again, all looked good until 12 week scan when lots of anomalies found and eventual Patau's diagnosis last May. I've had a couple of chemicals since then, but nothing else. Cycle still super regular and still ovulating, so I figure there's still a tiny chance of a sibling for my wondrous DD.

Letsdothis42 · 10/08/2018 10:52

ooooh @cookie That looks amazing!! so happy for you and positive thoughts being sent your way!

I was 2 days late this month so 30 day cycle and now going to look into IVF abroad (cost+need a holiday) any thoughts from anyone on where to start?

crivit · 10/08/2018 10:42

Congratulations cookie!

wimsywon The symptom I had during my only confirmed pregnancy was so severe as to lead to hospitalisation before I even knew I was pregnant so unfortunately I've got no useful symptoms for you to look out for. However fingers crossed for you.

wimsywon · 10/08/2018 10:33

Hi Ladies, I (we) ttc conceive with 2nd baby. I'm 43, previous preg was 25years ago! ( I know, huge gap, got a gorgeous 24year old :) so, we made the right moves, sex in the run up to Ov, vitamins, folic acid and I think I'm 3dpo but few symptoms and nothing out of the ordinary. My temp went up from 36.5 before Ov to 36.8/9 since Ov 'normal'?? please share your early symptoms...I feel alone, excited, confused and just plain weird right now! lol :)
