Thanks @littlemimosa & @Letsdothis42, Lets unfortunately was another CP.

@Cleozeta I do temping. I would just pick the first temp then do it the next day. Several days this month I've woken up 2 hrs early and just used those temps. I just do it once a day then leave it as it can change so much through the day.

Cleozeta · 18/08/2018 14:46

First wee of the day megan.

So I'm confusing myself again. Does anyone else temp? I know I said I wasn't doing it this cycle as it's too stressful, but I've caved and have been temping. And lo and behold - it's stressful!!! The reason I caved was because DH is away this weekend so wanted to be sure we weren't going to miss ov. Last time we dtd was Thursday pm before he left. Soooooo.... temps fairly standard pre ov level up until Friday morning, where one of the temps was a dip (I sometimes check a few times - I know - not helpful) so I thought maybe that was ov day - handy. Opk came out glaring positive - great! But CBFM was only high. Well this morning I woke up too early and temped, it came out at pre ov level (low) then I went back to sleep for about 3 hours and temped again when I woke, it came out post ov level - high. So...... which one do I go by?! Then CBFM was peak, and opk still positive but not as positive as yesterday, so was ov yesterday? Or today?? I'm going away tomorrow so won't be able to temp or opk after that, but I feel we may have missed the boat this cycle! What do you think?

megan18 · 18/08/2018 10:04

Whst time of the day for testing or how long holding it

MATTSMAMMA · 18/08/2018 09:57

MEGAN - in my opinion first response are definitely the best for early testing x

megan18 · 17/08/2018 21:08

Whats the best test for early pregnancy?

Letsdothis42 · 17/08/2018 20:43

@cookiewaffle I am so sorry to hear you are going through this not knowing bleedy crap, I have everything crossed for you

wimsywon · 17/08/2018 19:02

Bye all. GL xx

Cleozeta · 17/08/2018 18:39

Wow mimosa that sounds quite epic. Maybe you are right and it was some kind if mc. Or maybe as it had been so long your lining had just built up to epic perportions? How long did af last? Was it normal length? After my mega long cycle af wouldn't stop, it went on for weeks, but then it was never that heavy. Fingers crossed all goes back to normal for you now.

user1483961132 · 17/08/2018 17:59

Ladies, you're all absolutely wonderful.Going through so much but staying so kind and strong. Love to you all.

littlemimosa · 17/08/2018 17:52

Cookie and Eloisa I’m so sorry you’re getting bad news:-( I know how heartbroken you must be but take some heart from the fact that you can fall pregnant. I know you can both do it again and take a baby home. Lots of love.

Megan - it all looks very promising for you. Fingers tightly crossed.

Cleo - I finally got AF after 78 days!! It’s been so odd to go that long. I’m really wondering if I’ve had a miscarriage as on CD1 I was woken in the night twice by strong cramps (which I never get) and flooding on the pad. Not only that there were the (TMI alert) biggest clots Ive ever seen in my life. Like huge and long. It was very disconcerting. I felt so much better once I’d ‘passed’ them out and was instantly pain free.

MATTSMAMMA · 17/08/2018 17:06

Feel!!

MATTSMAMMA · 17/08/2018 17:06

COOKIE - I know exactly what you mean. You need to know but part of you can’t and doesn’t want to face what the test might show. It’s a complete head fuck from the start is this whole ttc Sad. I’m actually at the stage where I think I need some counselling from all of it and all the mc’s I’ve had Sad

I hope you felled a bit better COOKIE and do you know a day off work must have been what you needed. Go easy on yourself and never feel guilty or stupid - you reacted how you did for a reason. At least you can sound off here - we all understand. Big hugs to you xx

CookieWaffle · 17/08/2018 15:18

MATTS I've just been a mess today, I took today off work, cried all morning and over the phone to mum and now I feel a bit stupid and guilty that I got myself so worked up and missed a day off work. I need to sort myself out! Maybe it'll get easier to deal with. One the one hand I know I should wait to test, on the other I like to know what's going on down there.

megan18 · 17/08/2018 15:10

I hooe thats true because i had my positive or what i thought was , then it faded then i got positive before

MATTSMAMMA · 17/08/2018 15:07

ps. as far as I know those clear blue tests are not as sensitive as the frer I either. Fingers crossed for a BFP for you!

Russkispy · 17/08/2018 15:04

@megan18 , I still hope there's BFP for you tomorrow. Everything crossed for you!!

MATTSMAMMA · 17/08/2018 14:57

Good luck MEGAN x

megan18 · 17/08/2018 14:54

Just took this nothing ill take another first response tomorrow x

Over 40 ttc - August baby dust for me!
MATTSMAMMA · 17/08/2018 14:47

MEGAN - I have used so many frer it’s actually bordering on the ridiculous Blush and I can say I have NEVER EVER had an evap. In my experience First Response are the most reliable. The clear blue digital are ok but it is well known that they are nowhere near as sensitive as frer. All I can suggest is maybe test again tomorrow and see if the line gets darker? But I’d stick with First Response. Maybe wait a few days and then do another? It’s a killer waiting though and it’s pretty soul destroying if the line fades so maybe prepare yourself for that - keeping fingers crossed for you 😊

COOKIE - it’s so hard. I had another chemical last month Sad. However I’m torn between the fact it could be age related or my immune system as I should take steroids too when pregnant - it’s a long complicated story but basically involves natural killer cells which is what Dr Beers book is about x

CookieWaffle · 17/08/2018 14:44

@megan18 FRERs can definitely give a little grey line that is a negative. To make it positive it needs to have pink in it. But the longer you wait to test the more obvious it will be.

megan18 · 17/08/2018 14:30

Anyone had evap lines from fred x

megan18 · 17/08/2018 14:27

I dont wanna get my hopes up again though , how do you all get in confirmed ?

Karigan198 · 17/08/2018 14:26

Sorry to hear Eloise andCookie.

Cleo I’m sick to death of testing and I now wait two weeks past late period lol.

Currently about 5 weeks late though so 🤷‍♀️

CookieWaffle · 17/08/2018 14:24

@megan18 that looks like a faint positive to me, i can see pink in it. I would wait a few days and try again though.

CookieWaffle · 17/08/2018 14:23

Thanks for posting that @MATTSMAMMA, I know I'm gonna need to accept that this may not be the last CP I'll have so I need to expect the worst and hope for the best and try not to let this punch me in the face each month.
