Welcome @MakeAWhish
Bit of a blughhhhhhh cycle, think I feeling ov twinges but got a full on weekend at work and not normally a lady who doesn't feel up for dtd, but hubs isn't up for it when I am... so feeling "sod it" and can't be arsed this month.. is that wrong ? Am enjoying filling my body with loads of pate and soft cheese brought home from hols and have fall a bit off the right foods wagon.. Hope you all have a not too wet and soggy weekend.. summer feels like it is over 😞 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

karryk · 25/08/2018 08:25

Happy weekend all Smile

No temp rise after what I think was ovulation day so not getting my hopes up here Hmm annoyingly my oestrogen tablets give me nausea so that's not helpful!

Oh well, back to planning next month Grin

CritterTamer · 24/08/2018 20:47

Welcome @Makeawhish 😊

AuntieGeek and Funkypuzzle sorry I don’t have a clue about the mirena question as iv3 never had one. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along soon to offer you advice.

AF hasn’t shown for me today - seems like the IVF has had a positive effect on my short LP as it was 12 days last cycle and 11days so far this cycle. Hopefully this will last but it’s typical that I’m impatient for her this time so we can get started on the next round so she’s late!

MakeAWhish · 24/08/2018 13:17

Hi all, may I join! 39 years old ttc number 3, first month....

AuntieGeek · 24/08/2018 09:26

My sleep patterns went out the window for 2 weeks; I put it down to work and too many visitors.

It will be worth it for both of us.

Funkypuzzle · 24/08/2018 09:06

I don’t feel right since Mirena removed. Not sleeping well and appetite has increased. Hope this is worth it...🤨😕

Funkypuzzle · 23/08/2018 19:27

Auntie geek I am in a similar situation. But I’m only 3D post removal .
I am also having low level cramps and dark spotting. But very dry. Much drier then I was with the Mirena. I wondered if this counted as AF and the ovulation signs will emerge within in next 10 days or so.. But that might be over optimistic 😢😢😢

I hAd Mirena for 2 1/2 yrs pre removal.

Hoping others can share their experiences of post Mirena TTc!!
😳😳😳

AuntieGeek · 23/08/2018 18:36

Wonder if the wise ladies can help me here. I had my mirena out 2 weeks ago and I have no idea what would count as CD1 - CD anything really. I had the teensiest withdrawal bleed. Barely knicker-pinking level which ended 5DPMirenaRemoval. Since then DTD every possible moment (challenging as long hours and last 2 weekends had guests over but nothing like a challenge to get the creativity flowing). Question is therefore a) would I have been anovulatory during the 10 years of Mirenadom, if so, when would I start ovulating again and when is it most likely or b) If ovulatory, how can I even remotely predict when likely to happen / have been happening as zero EWCM (that I've seen) in the last 10 years.

Any ideas please?

minime2017 · 23/08/2018 18:24

Like mimosa im popping in to say hi. Hope everyone is well. Ive a bit of catching up to do with the expanding thread. Ive had a very busy non ttc related summer. Currently on the tww but have no expectations of a bfp this month even though we threw everything at it.

PetraRabbit · 23/08/2018 13:21

Just checking in! As a reminder, I'm (just)43 with a 1 year old and had a MMC in March (first cycle TTC). 4 cycles have passed since the MMC, this is our 5th (4th TTC). All that stuff about being more fertile seems like rubbish to me. I had an odd short cycle last month but this one seems more regular....but DH is away! So typical. We DTD on days 9, 12 and 13. Today is day 15 and seems to be my best EWCM day so we probably missed our chance. It's hard when every month counts at our age!
I've been reading the updates (from everyone) and wish everyone the best. Sorry about the bad news and congratulations on the BFPs.

littlemimosa · 22/08/2018 23:27

Just popping in to say hi and welcome to all newbies. We are a veritable army of over 40s ladies ttc. How great is that:-) Hello to all the veterans too (ttc for ever and not giving up yet - like me!). I’m still reading but not posting as much as still on a ttc hiatus. Hoping to be back on it in a month or two. Love and hugs to all ❤️

karryk · 22/08/2018 23:20

So sorry, Megan Flowers

I had one before my mmcs. I recall it being like a horribly heavy and crampy period. I think I had heavy bleeding for a couple of days and then it slowly lessened over a week.

weasledee · 22/08/2018 22:33

Wow, we have really grown as a thread! Didn't realise there was so many of us now Smile

Chatbash72 · 22/08/2018 21:57

Dipping

Chatbash72 · 22/08/2018 21:57

Ooh goodness so busy after a few days just sipping in and out of the thread.. @megan18 so sorry to hear of your loss, have had 1 cp and 3 m/c and they feel pretty similar but some months af cramps can feel the same.. take it easy, rest and regular pain relief and a hot water bottle helps.. and cry you have to let the emotion out too.. big hugs 💕
It's so hard to keep up with all threads.. but sending lots of baby dust and 🖕 to dr doom we'll show him.. power of positivity ladies 💕💕💕💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

megan18 · 22/08/2018 21:51

megan18 · 22/08/2018 20:12

Its causing me so much pain physically i have never had one before

Funkypuzzle · 22/08/2018 20:00

Megan so sorry to hear about your loss. Maybe better to wait to test next time to avoid these rollercoaster of emotions.
I am a late tester. Always have been.. I can’t cope with the disappointments otherwise.
Wishing you well with next cycle.

Funkypuzzle · 22/08/2018 19:56

I am avidly following this wonderful chat. It’s so great and humbling to hear your stories.
Not much to contribute yet. I’m 41 11M and just had Mirena removed 2 days ago. Other then some light spotting and cramping not much going on.
I’m praying AF arrives soon so I can start charting.
I have lots of anxieties about trisomies and fetal abnormalities based on my history but for the time being just focusing on TTC.
Sending you all 💕💕💕💕

Karigan198 · 22/08/2018 19:54

Megan if it’s a CP it might even just be like a late AF and cause little disruption.

megan18 · 22/08/2018 19:50

Anyone had a chemical pregnancy on here and tell me how long it was and how much pain they were in

weasledee · 22/08/2018 19:17

Cleo interesting!
If it does work this month I'll have you to thank! I only peed on that opk in day 14 as I remember you'd said about 2nd ovulation, so I thought, let's see if that theory works with me and I got that positive!! Grin

Cleozeta · 22/08/2018 18:36

Megan - sorry you had a cp. Hopefully things will work out better next cycle.

Angel - you will probably ovulate when you would expect to from the start of a new cycle, for example cd14 of a 28 day cycle. I'd start opk's as soon as af finishes to be sure.

Critter - dr doom is wrong and we'll all prove it. Arse wipe.

Weasle. I don't want to get your hopes up, but I had similar on my bfp cycle. I had a dip and what looked like another surge 4 & 5 days after initial ovulation. I would post my bfp chart but not sure how to do that.
Of course it could be one of the other possibilities but I guess you won't know until a few weeks have passed. Fingers crossed for you!!
