Af came on this morning.. I'm gutted but not surprised..
I feel bad but I think stress makes it VERY difficult for the baby to have a chance. I really did think I was pregnant but I've also been extremely stressed out and feel like I made the journey too hard on my lil nug..

Af doesn't even feel normal..

2mummie5 it won t feel positive today but you're so right you need a rest .. let your body relax and not be stressed for a while. It will happen and you can carry your own. If we don't see you on here for a while .. all the best to you and your wife I wish you all the luck with having another xxx

@Thethreeandme this is our 3rd IUI. But witblh pre tests etc we have been u der the clinic since last octover so feels longer.
AF is here now.

It's been an emotionally and financially draining time. I think the break will do me good in the long run although it doesn't feel that way today.

@2mummie5 I'm so gutter for you.. if like to say till af arrives you're still in the game but I can literally feel your disappointment. How many cycles you been trying ? I'm due next Saturday so now waiting for af symptoms. This game is so crap at times 😔 xx

The disappointment for the3rdtime is hard enough. I know you ladies know how this feels. But I now have no idea how we will get the money to continue. Well I do, we will save but most likely it will be 6 months min begore we have the £5k for the next try. I just don't want to wait anymore. I'm 33 so not getting any younger.

I just have no solutions right now. It's hard to be kind to yourself when you feel like a failure. My wife is so supportive but I just feel like I have let her down. We have a holiday in 2 weeks which is now needed more than ever.
Also got the dreaded call to the hospital to let them know I've failed again.

I'm sorry for the rant. I'll keep off the thread and not bother you ladies with it all. I hope those of you waiting for you BFPs get them soon.

@2mummie5 I'm so sorry to hear that. Be kind to yourself today. You don't need to know how to be yet. You just need time to process. And you need and deserve spoiling. I hope you guys can do something nice tonight to help distract you.

AF appears to be coming now. Should have saved ourselves the test.

I don't really know how to 'be' today. Going to work early to give my self a distraction. Not much else I can do xx

Oh @2mummie5, I'm so sorry. But if AF isn't here, you're still not out. I read yesterday that some women don't have enough hcg to show on a test until about 3 weeks after AF was due!

@Tpott12 you should be able to do it on here by using the paperclip button under the text box.

BFN here this morning. Just done the test,, couldn't sleep hence the time!

I’m 9 dpo today! Just took a test this morning, saw nothing. But checked hours later and there’s a line! I just can’t tell if it’s an evaporation line or if it’s legit!

I’m new, could anyone tell me how to post my own thread so I can show a picture and get opinions?

First I used Tesco's own and got a line , but the line was pencil thin and grey so was an evap line I think, came up in 5 minutes! I took another Tesco one the next day as it was a pack of two and it happened again! (I sent them an email and got a £15 voucher) 😊
Then I used a Superdrug test and got THREE lines!
It was a nightmare! But finally yesterday I forked out for a FRER and was so eager to use it I got the teeniest bit of urine out and BFN!

It's been a wild ride so far 😂

I count ovulation based on my period app, and count each day after that starting at EOD..
In addition I feel mid cycle AF pains. The pain starts right around the predicted ovulation on my apps... I also took note of my CM in July and the date seems about correct but who knows...
I wasnt ttc but after this I may start.. I'm a bit nervous tho. I feel as tho it'll take over my whole life if I'm anything like I've been these past 2 weeks. I've already added many things to my cart on amazon.

And I'm at 12/13 dpo,
AF can come down anywhere from today to Wednesday.
My cm is still very creamy, not sure if this is normal so close to AF.

I'm tryna convince myself that AF is coming so I won't be too disappointed...

Hi @dreaminofholidays I've started to use ovulation tests for the last two months. I count ovulation as the day after the last positive test.

Thanks all for the positive vibes. Trying not to drive myself insane as I know we dtd at the right time this month and it's hard not to wonder if there's a problem. I'm booking a gp check up this week but assume they won't do anything until a bit longer down the line? Anyway...new cycle, back to the drawing board!

Thanks @dreaminofholidays I used the Natural Cycles app to work out my ovulation date using temping. It's excellent.

Sorry to hear about AF @lavenderlove and @veeboo. I hope this new cycle's the one.

Thank you @dreaminofholidays. For me counting my dpo is pretty nailed on as I had a monitored IUI cycle with a HCG trigger 36 hours before the IUI. I guess the other ladies have based theirs on when their saw the LH surge plus 24 hours (ish)

@positivejade I know what you mean, before this I don't remember noticing any symptoms, the only thing I knew about my cycles was they weren't regular.
I think it's great to chat on forums like these with others in the same boat.
What type of tests are you using?

Just out of interest how does everyone count their post ovulation days? do you know exactly when you ovulated or just that it was coming?

@lavenderlove I'm so sorry AF has arrived but cycle 3 is still very early days. Although I agree even cycle 1 feels like a very long time.

@thethreeandme waiting is just the absolute worst. I hate it!

A few hours later and we have now decided we will test in the morning after all. Going to use the FRER for the best chance of an early detection if we are pregnant this time.

Just got to try and get some sleep tonight now.
