Anyone around 9 dpo?

Hi wondering if anyone is around 9dpo and wants to join me for the agonising wait? I'm trying to hold off from testing until at least 12dpo but it's so hard! I've never obsessed over something so much and I'm only on my 2nd cycle Sad

I just tested at 12dpo and got a negative. Not going to test anymore

Blueflower22 · 27/12/2018 00:11

Hi guys, how long will you guys wait until. I'm 12dpo tomorrow but don't know when to test?

lavenderlove · 26/12/2018 23:12

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have had a lovely few days.

@dreaminofholidays Thank you! I have been pretty relaxed about TTC this week. A couple of acquaintances made pregnancy announcements yesterday which gave me a little pang of sadness but the feeling passed quickly! X

@Thethreeandme sorry you had a scare! Glad to hear everything is going ok now. Hopefully you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy now the cramps have gone. Bet it was lovely telling your kids! X

@blitzen thank you. I did enjoy a couple of festive drinks! Tried not to think about things too much and I've ditched the opk's and temping for this month. How exciting that you can feel baby moving!! X

Hello @dreamin, I felt something on 22nd/23rd which I thought might have been trapped wind but loads of movement on Christmas eve, especially during a Carol service and at bedtime. Not much since but a couple of random flutters yesterday and today. How are you doing?

That's great @thethree! Think I still had cramping past that point with sneezing etc but sounds like you have turned a corner. Lovely that your kids know now too.

Thethreeandme · 26/12/2018 09:18

Hi ladies, thank you for your messages.
@blitzen that's so lovely I can't wait for that, my cramps have gone now think I was being paranoid!

@dreaminofholidays yes it's been lovely thanks, how are you getting on? We told the kids yesterday they're so happy!!!

@lavenderlove hope you've had a relaxing week and it's not occupied your mind too much xx

dreaminofholidays · 26/12/2018 08:45

Merry Christmas All!
@blitzen how wonderful. Are you feeling something daily or every now and again?
@thethreeandme I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas with family and everything is going well.

xx xx

blitzen · 25/12/2018 07:43

Merry Christmas, ladies. Hope you have a lovely day. I have started to feel baby moving which is a wonderful gift. X

blitzen · 20/12/2018 12:50

Hello @lavender, it was cycle 6 for me and fair to say I was as sick as a chip. Found ttc very stressful. I heard from a few people that it usually takes up to a year. I agree with @dreamin though. Ideal to have your fertile week over Christmas. Hope you can enjoy an eggnog or two!

@thethree think I had low level cramping til about 9 or 10 weeks maybe. Hope you're okay. Could you go for another scan to check how things are? I know it's expensive though.

Thethreeandme · 20/12/2018 10:31

Nothing's ever straight forward! At my last e can at 8.3 they found a second gestational sac with no baby. a chance I conceived twins. She did say my body would prob absorb it as the baby grows. However, there's a small chance my body will moscarry it in which case there's a small chance my body could moscarry the baby too. I don't know if I'm worrying myself but I feel so crampy today. Not really painful jusy I know it's there. Did anyone else have mild cramps around 8 weeks xc

dreaminofholidays · 19/12/2018 07:33

@lavenderlove fertility week over Christmas sounds ideal. You'll be relaxed and full of festive cheer 😀. Hope you can really enjoy the Christmas time and not stress too much about TTC. xxx

lavenderlove · 18/12/2018 10:11

@dreaminofholidays thank you, I'm trying not to. Yeh that's true, he's still only down to a half dose so it could still be causing us problems. And I really appreciate the support! Fingers crossed for this month x

Thanks @blitzen what cycle was you on when you got your BFP? My fertile week runs right over Xmas day etc this month so I'm hoping it might work in our favour that we aren't thinking about it/planning too much. Thank you for the support you all give me! Hope to be sharing some good news soon x

Ah no @lavender 😢 sorry about that. I thought and felt exactly the same a few months ago but then my next go at smep worked. I had an appointment already booked with the gp to explore infertility which ended up being an entirely different conversation. Keep at it and try to relax and have a good Christmas. We are all behind you on this thread and I would be so happy to hear of your bfp in 2019. Thank you for being so supportive of all of us on your thread. Xx

dreaminofholidays · 15/12/2018 10:39

@lavenderlove I'm sorry hun. I know it feels really rubbish when you've tried so hard in the month. I don't think you should jump to any conclusions, you guys know the medicine was probably not making things easier and from memory DH has only recently reduced the dosage so it could have taken a little time to kick in? We are all rooting for you here xxx

lavenderlove · 15/12/2018 09:52

Af arrived this morning before I could test 😭 argh we honestly did everything we possibly could this month, if it didn't happen this month I feel like something must be wrong 🙁 x

blitzen · 14/12/2018 21:33

Eek @lavender! That's interesting! Rooting for you for tomorrow morning. I wouldn't hold any stock in temping x

lavenderlove · 14/12/2018 19:36

@blitzen thank you! No af today so will test again in the morning. Strange as I had a small bit of brown spotting last night so was so sure I would get af this morning! My temps have been decreasing though which I know isn't a good sign x

@dreamin yes, thanks. The matb1 form. Saw midwife this week and she also said the thing about being 20w before issue. I also have to email her as she says she'll forget otherwise.

@squ1ggle great news re the scan. Hope your ds is looking forward to being a big bro.

@lavender still got everything crossed for you for this month. Good luck x

lavenderlove · 13/12/2018 20:21

@Thethreeandme I'm ok thanks how you doing? And I tested yesterday at 11dpo and BFNSad I'm due af tomorrow so I'm going to see if she turns up then if not test on Saturday x

@lavenderlove how.you feeling? Have you tested? The threads gone quiet this week hope everyone is ok? Xx

lavenderlove · 09/12/2018 23:02

I'm doing ok thanks @Thethreeandme I'm due af/BFP on Friday so fingers crossed! I feel hopeful about this month so we will see. Crazy that you tested positive at 6dpo! Glad your scan went well x

@blitzen glad you're feeling better, and telling your friends and family went well! Bet it feels so much more real now x

@Squ1ggle glad your scan went well! Bet it was so lovely to see a wriggling baby in there. And so cute about your son! Bet he's excited to be a big brother x

Squ1ggle · 07/12/2018 18:56

@Thethreeandme he's 4 next week. Luckily a few of his friends at nursery have had little brothers and sisters over the last year and his nursery teacher had a baby too a month or two ago so he's had lots of info and talk about babies etc. I think he understood and took it all in when we told him as he then told granny that 'there's a baby growing in mummy's tummy'

Thethreeandme · 07/12/2018 18:51

@Squ1ggle aaaahhhhj that's so lovely!!! Congratulations! How old is ds.. I don't know when to tell mine! When's your due date then? Exciting stuff xxx

Squ1ggle · 07/12/2018 17:54

Had the scan today and everything looks perfect. Dates are spot on (9.3 rather than 9.4) and one little baby happy and waving it's arms and legs around. Think we're going to tell ds tonight, just had a chippy tea to celebrate

dreaminofholidays · 06/12/2018 22:05

gosh sorry you guys have had such a nightmare getting appointments. I was sent my 12 week scan a few days after booking my checking in app so much easier. Wonder why all the trusts are so different.

@blitzen do you mean the matb1 form? my midwife told me that she legally can't issue it until after 20weeks but not to be surprised if my work try and get it earlier x

blitzen · 06/12/2018 21:31

Sounds like a plan! Good thinking. I was actually thinking what would have happened if I hadn't kept at it, or what if I hadn't realised? I don't have the form you're supposed to get for work so that's going to be something I ask for at my 16w appt next week x
