@ChaosMoon it's risky though isn't it telling people before 12 weeks :(

RanchoRelaxo · 26/07/2018 19:53

@ChaosMoon snap on the 5dpo, wernt we matching last month too?
@BambiOnIce80 ahh that sucks, I have got a stash of internet cheapy tests to use towards the later end of the tww if I want to go out and drink, 'drink till it's pink' and all that haha

BambiOnIce80 · 26/07/2018 19:35

@ChaosMoon symptom spotting totally sucks, doesn't it?! Despite my chilled attitude a couple of days ago, the symptom spotting has literally consumed my entire day 🙄 I try mentally shaking/slapping myself to snap out of it, which will maybe work for a whole 30 minutes, and then my boobs will twinge and I'll think "oooh, maybe..." Gahhhhhh! Sending myself loopy!

I'm currently moping because, despite being uncomfortable all day, my boobs now feel completely normal, which probably means my progesterone levels have crashed because my body has worked out that I do not have a bun to keep in the proverbial oven. Team that with the fact that I ovulated CD15, meaning my cycle will probably be 30 days this month instead of the usual 28, which in turn means AF isn't due until Monday, scuppering my plans to hit the gin and tonics on Sunday's date night because I won't know for sure that I'm not pregnant until the next day. It's totally messing up my 'disappointment treat' plan!! 😕

Sorry ladies - rant over and apologies! 😬

ChaosMoon · 26/07/2018 19:02

Grin I'll be so impressed if you can wait 9 weeks! It's a good plan.

Delilah7 · 26/07/2018 18:54

@ChaosMoon maybe wait till 9 weeks to tell him, I'll have to tell him soon it'll be bugging me 😂😂😂

It is. I'm 5dpo. Had some annoying spotting yesterday that I am studiously ignoring as I know it's too early to be anything. Come Friday, I'll be symptom spotting with the best of you though! Smile How are you doing @BambiOnIce80?

BambiOnIce80 · 26/07/2018 18:24

Very well said @ChaosMoon 🙂 And how are you doing? Is it TWW time for you?

ChaosMoon · 26/07/2018 17:37

I bet you are! Will you wait till your scan or tell him now?
We will. I'll be exactly the same when it's my turn. It's easy to be the voice of reason when it doesn't apply to you! Smile

Delilah7 · 26/07/2018 17:23

@Hofty @ChaosMoon @BambiOnIce80 I've never been through this so bare with me ladies I'll be feeling so many different emotions. I know I get to tell him I'm so excited!!!

Hofty · 26/07/2018 15:43

Thank you so much @ChaosMoon! That was really reassuring. Please try not to worry @Delilah7, we’ve all got everything crossed for you.

ChaosMoon · 26/07/2018 15:23

That's completely understandable @Delilah7 but let those fears wash over you if you can. Hold onto the positive - you're one step closer to giving your grandad this wonderful news!

BambiOnIce80 · 26/07/2018 15:06

Why are you worrying @Delilah7?

Delilah7 · 26/07/2018 14:59

ChaosMoon · 26/07/2018 12:44

Woo hoo!!! Massive congratulations @Delilah7! I'm absolutely thrilled for you. GrinFlowersStar I really hope it all goes smoothly from here. I'm glad you're planning to stay in touch. We'd miss you if you disappeared.

What a lucky thread already!

Welcome new ladies. @Hofty don't panic, sperm can stay inside for up to 6 days and an opk can find your peak up to 3 days before you ovulate. So if you dtd earlier in the week or bd today, you're still in with a chance.

@CookieWaffle @Simplethings121 I'm with you all the way. Sat DH down last night and gave him a ttc presentation. No slides, but plenty of charts and I made him take notes!

Delilah7 · 26/07/2018 10:33

@BambiOnIce80 sorry lovely hahaha!! I'm only 2 days late but my god. I feel all types of things now hahaha. I feel sick and abit gone in the head hahaha

BambiOnIce80 · 26/07/2018 10:17

Let this be a lesson to us all to not test too early! 😂 I was reading up on it a bit last night and the majority of the advice is that early pregnancy tests really aren't that reliable and frequently give false negatives. They reckon the best time to test is 12 to 15 days DPO at the earliest.

I was going to message you with what I'd found this morning @Delilah7, but clearly you've found that out already! 😂

Delilah7 · 26/07/2018 10:17

@BambiOnIce80 😍😍😍😍 thank you!!

BambiOnIce80 · 26/07/2018 10:11

OMFG @Delilah7!!! What did I tell you?!?! Congratulations!!! 🎉 😍 🎉 😍

Hofty · 26/07/2018 09:26

A little bit sad, we didn’t manage to DTD last night or the night before, CD17 and CD18 with a positive OPK. Never mind! There’s always next month.

Delilah7 · 26/07/2018 09:24

@Hofty thank you!!! how're you today x

Hofty · 26/07/2018 09:24

Over the moon for you!

Delilah7 · 26/07/2018 08:58

@CookieWaffle @RanchoRelaxo @sunshine1987 Thank you!!! I'm so shocked. Don't always believe in symptoms. I've not had many apart from CM. Keep the faith ladies!!! I'm gonna keep on here to update you guys and watch your journeys. I've got to go pick up a midwife pack from doctors. I'm so shoooooook!!!
