Hi All,
DH and I are on C3 this month with AF due tomorrow (well, until I updated some symptoms in my Flo app yesterday and it changed it to Wednesday!) trying not to test too early as I have the past 2 months and feel like I wasted money just for disappointment! It's my birthday on Saturday so if nothing by then, I'm going to test Saturday morning and pray for the best birthday gift!
Wishing you all luck. Xx

LumosNox · 06/08/2018 21:12

Thank you for all the lovely welcomes. It's great to speak to people who are in the same boat.

@Delilah7 I'm sorry to hear the bad news, take all the time you need - only you know how you're feeling.

I've got everything crossed for you @ChaosMoon - it sounds good!

@ValidUser I hope your back is feeling better soon.

Hoping everyone has had a good day today.

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 17:16

@ChaosMoon @CrystalBlaze I think I'm just gonna try relax. Can't do nothing when it's this hot 😂 x

Thanks ladies, that's what I'm holding onto!

@Delilah7 that sounds like a really good move. I hope you are spoiling yourself on the off part of your half days.

@ValidUser I really hope your back's better soon! But A for ingenuity in the meantime!

Welcome @LumosNox

CrystalBlaze · 06/08/2018 16:52

@ValidUser you poor thing. And that is definitely serious dedication.

@Delilah7 I'm glad you're taking it easy.

@Chaos that sounds like good news! Flowers

And welcome @LumosNox! It's all very exciting. I am just starting the TWW.

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 16:30

@ValidUser I'd say it doesn't go away but it can get boring 😂😂

@LumosNox welcome! 😘

Hello everyone! Do you mind if I join you? My DH and I will be starting to TTC after my AF has been and gone (due 8th August). So excited to be finally starting this adventure!

ValidUser · 06/08/2018 15:50

@BambiOnIce80 it's month 1, hence the enthusiasm. Grin

BambiOnIce80 · 06/08/2018 15:48

@ChaosMoon, keeping everything doubly crossed for good news from your blood tests 🤞

@ValidUser, now that's what I call dedication to the cause! 😯 I don't think I'd be arsed this cycle if it was me 😂

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 15:45

@ChaosMoon I can't help but get excited for you. All looks positive right?! So keep us updated. I've taken it yes. I'm on half days till Wednesday and can have more off if needed but I'm hoping I won't. X x

Unfortunately, relying on turkey baster (read: syringe) this month. Put my back out and can't even get a bit jiggy with it.

ChaosMoon · 06/08/2018 15:27

Well it's not bad news... there was a teeny tiny blob, that the doctor thought was probably a gestational sack in my uterus. But it was too small to be sure. So have blood tests today and I'll have more later this week. If my hcg levels go up, its not ectopic.

@Delilah7 I hope you've been taking some of this excellent advice and looking out for yourself today.

And I hope everyone else is ok.

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 13:42

@ChaosMoon let us know how you get on xx

BambiOnIce80 · 06/08/2018 13:15

@ChaosMoon, thinking of you today. Keeping everything crossed that it's good news 🤞

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 11:18

You guys are so lovely. 😭 xx

Good advice @CrystalBlaze 💖

CrystalBlaze · 06/08/2018 11:07

@Delilah7 It's not about the time or anything else, it doesn't make it any less traumatic and sad. Be kind to yourself and talk to us when you need to xx

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 11:04

@CrystalBlaze spoke to GP. She said I can take as much time off as I need. I did say I'd probably only need another few days but I just feel abit silly. I was only 5 weeks there's so many people worse off than me :/ xx

OP posts:
CrystalBlaze · 06/08/2018 10:58

You will get through this @Delilah7, I promise. But it's so hard so just take as much time as you need xx

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 10:43

@BambiOnIce80 :( wish this wasn't happening x

OP posts:
BambiOnIce80 · 06/08/2018 10:40

Of course not! Take a couple of days to get yourself right and then go back when you're ready to get back into the swing of things.

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 10:18

@BambiOnIce80 be nice if it did.
Am I bad to think I might want a few extra days off? I've had Thursday and Friday off work. Xx

OP posts:
BambiOnIce80 · 06/08/2018 10:16

@Delilah7, I totally understand you not wanting to slip into a downward spiral. It's soooo hard to be able to see positives in such a painful situation, but try to hold onto the fact that you now know you can get pregnant and it WILL happen again, probably very soon.x

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 09:51

@CrystalBlaze I don't want to go in a downward spiral as others have it so much worse than me and manage to pick themselves up. But I wanted this baby so much and it's all I've ever wanted. :(

CrystalBlaze · 06/08/2018 09:41

Oh Delilah7 you poor thing, its so tough. Definitely speak to your GP and maybe a trusted person at work and make sure you get all the time and support you need Flowers
